WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

At 02:00, Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Mahmoud Al-Tiriyaki, Rashid Rasmi Al-Rashq, Abdallah Al-Joulani and Mahdi Yusef Abu Thiyab after storming their homes in Jerusalem city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

Settlement Activities

On August 1st 2018, Israeli Authorities opened a Jewish Heritage Center in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city on property owned by a Palestinian family : Abu Nab which was seized by Israeli settlers in 2015.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Settlers Attacks

At 05:00 on August 2nd 2018, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Ein Yabroud village and slashed the tires of 10 vehicles and spray painted anti Arab and racist graffiti on the vehicles.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town and detained a resident.

Raid

At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:40.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near the entrance of Azzun town detained Sa'ed Yasser Rashid Saleem {A resident of Azzun town}.
2. Israeli forces detained Yahya Tuqay Al-Din Al-Hurti in Qalqiliya city.

NABLUS

Raid

At 07:45, Israeli forces raided Khirbiet Yanoun village.

Detention

At 22:00 on August 1st 2018, Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Jabr Mahmoud Fayiz Musalam, Mohammad Ahmad Fayiz Musalam and Mahmoud Musalam.

SALFIT

Raid

At 21:30, Israeli forces raided Harris village , stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 23:50.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.
2. At 12:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 14:40.
3. At 18:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:00.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Samou' then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sa'ir town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 19:50, Israeli forces raided Dura town, detained 3 residents {including a National Security Force Officer} and summoned Ghadanfar Aykhman Musa Abu Atwan to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
2. At 00:20, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. At 10:45 on August 2nd 2018, Israeli forces detained Muntasir Abdel-Hamid Muhisien {A resident of Al-Arrub camp}.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Wael Ouday Rabi'i { a National Security Force Officer},Saed Khalid Al-Nurat and Husam Ra'fat Al-Namurat in Dura town.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mouath Abdo Mohammad Al-Haymouni and Husam Raghib Al-Awawi in Hebron city.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by launching tank artillery shells and openeing fire towards Central Gaza and Khan Yunis districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 18:30 on August 2nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp participating in the right of return march.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 16:00 on August 2nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Abbsan town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents and for the entry of emergency humanitarian and medical supplies.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
