WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the bypass road near Anata town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

On the evening of August 2nd 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

At 13:00, Israeli forces detained Hassan Barjiyat {a resident on Bethlehem city} in Sur Baher village.

Attack

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned in Wadi Hums area located in Sur Baher village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several worshipers during Friday prayers as they protested against the Israeli military demolition of 11 buildings in the area and as a result injured a resident after assaulting him and left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 20:30, Israeli forces positioned at Kabsa area junction in Al-Eizariya town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Physical Assault

At 13:00, Israeli forces assaulted Eyad Hamad {a journalist} during clashes in Wadi Hums area located in Sur Baher village and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On August 2nd 2019,Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city is open to residents exiting from the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh from 10:00 until 23:00 daily, and is open for the entry of residents into the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh from 06:00 Until 22:00 daily and on Friday the checkpoint will be open from 07:00 until 23:00 and on Saturday will be open from both directions from 10:00 until 23:00.

At 18:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Silwad town then searched residents and vehicles.

JENIN

Detention

On the evening of August 2nd 2019, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Billal Al-Saedi and Khalid Nizar near Markat village.

TUBAS

Settlers Attacks

On August 2nd 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Khirbeit Makhoul area located in the North Jordan valley and herded their cattle on land near residential tents and as a result led to verbal confrontations between them and local residents.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 18:30,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 20:20.

QALQILIYA

Attack

At 13:45,Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {protesting against the continued closure} for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified residents during clashes near the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military}.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 17:30,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 18:30.

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:00,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Muraba' area located near the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles until 14:00.

Raid

At 16:00, Israeli forces raided Tel village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Ah,mad Salah Ramadan { 17 years old} in Tel village.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:20,, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jinata town junction then searched residents and vehicles until 14:00.
2. At 18:10,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 18:40.
3. At 20:00,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Ush Al-Ghurab area located in east Beit Sahour city then searched residents and vehicles.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles .

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

1. At 10:00 on August 2nd 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in north east Jabaliya town.
2. At 16:00 on August 2nd 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town during the march of return and as a result injured 13 resident and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
3. At 19:00 on August 2nd 2019, Israeli forces opened fire towards a resident as he attempted to climb the border fence from east Jabaliya town into Israel and as a result injured then detained him.

1. Israeli forces injured 13 unidentified residents during clashes in east Jabaliya town.
2. Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident after opening fire towards him as he attempted to climb the border fence from east Jabaliya town into Israel then detained him.

At 16:00 on August 2nd 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near east Al- Buriej camp during the march of return and as a result injured 14 residents {including a journalist} and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces injured 14 unidentified residents {including Osama Al-Kahoulat - a journalist} during clashes in east east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 16:00 on August 2nd 2019,,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result, injured 9 residents {including a journalist} and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 9 unidentified residents {including Hatem Amr - a journalist} after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

At 16:00 on August 2nd 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city participating in the right of return march and as a result injured 10 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
