WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

On August 29th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At dawn on August 29th 2019, Israeli forces detained 4 residents {2 resident and their wives}: Jawad Abu Sinenat and his wife and Ahmad Rayan and his wife.
2. On August 29th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at Shu'fat Military checkpoint detained Muhanad Wael Bahjat Mohammad Ali {a resident of Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city}.
3. Israeli forces detained Basel Mohammad Darbas in Al-Eisawiya village.

Deportation

On August 29th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders banning Madalien Issa from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound for a period of 4 months and banning Shifa Abu Ghaliya for a period of 4 months as a condition for their release after they were detained at an earlier time

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 11:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On August 29th 2019,Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city is open to residents exiting from the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh from 10:00 until 23:00 daily, and is open for the entry of residents into the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh from 06:00 Until 22:00 daily and on Friday the checkpoint will be open from 07:00 until 23:00 and on Saturday will be open from both directions from 10:00 until 23:00.

Raid

1. At dawn on August 29th 2019, Israeli forces raided Beit Liqya town and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on August 30th 2019, Israeli forces raided Ni'lin town and detained a Photo Journalist after storming his home.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Attiya Assi in Beit Liqya town.
2. Israeli forces detained Hassan Dabous {a Photo Journalist} after storming his home in Ni'lin town.

JENIN

Raid

On the evening of August 29th 2019, Israeli forces raided Jenin camp and Wadi Bruqin town then clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes.

Attack

On the evening of August 29th 2019, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Jenin camp and Wadi Bruqin town.

QALQILIYA

Raid

At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Azzun town and clashed with several residents then withdrew at 01:00.

Attack

At 00:10, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several resiednts for alleged stoning during their raid into Azzun town.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 10:35, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furiq military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 16:00.

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Shave Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 19:45, Israeli forces raided Kafil Qalil village and clashed with several residents.

Attack

At 19:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Kafr Qalil village.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At dawn on August 30th 2019, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological sites and performed Talmudic rituals.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Malee Afarim" settlement then searched residents and vehicles unto 10:00.

Detention

On August 29th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge detained Mariyam Ahmad Abu Obied {a resident of Jenin city} as she was returning from Jordan.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:05 and again at 20:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Nihalin town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:45.
2. At 22:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 23:30.

Settlement Activities

On August 29th 2019, Israeli authorities razed areas of Palestinian agricultural land in Al-Makhour area, northwest of Beit Jala, in preparation for the construction of an underground tunnel similar to another tunnel linking Jerusalem to the Gush Etzion settlement complex.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Halhul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles until 14:00.
2. At 20:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Fuwar junction then searched residents and vehicles until 22:00.

Raid

1. At 23:45, Israeli forces raided Yatta town and detained 2 residents.
2. At dawn on August 30th 2019, Israeli forces raided Halhul town, stormed and searched several homes then detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ahmad Yusef Amer Al-Nawaj'at and Thaer Mohammad Al-Hrani in Yatta town.
2. Israeli forces detained Annan Yusef Al-Zamar'a in Halhul town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

On August 28th 2019, Israeli forces closed down Al-Ibrahimi Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 24 hours Under the pretext of enabling the settlers to celebrate and perform the Talmudic rituals inside the mosque on the occasion of Jewish holidays.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.

•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green line towards North Gaza and Khan Yunis districts.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza, Gaza and Central Gaza districts.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

1. At 08:30 on August 29th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 15:15 on August 29th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Beit Hanoun town.
3. At 01:00 on August 30th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 06:30 on August 29th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Gaza city.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 11:00 on August 29th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in
east Al-Qarara town located in North east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of travelers.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
