WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Qalandiya camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Injuries

On August 30th 2018,Intham Rushdi Abu Ramouz {A resident of Jerusalem city} was injured after Israeli Police Forces assaulted him as he was near Al-Absat gate in the old city of Jerusalem and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Aabboud town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Yabroud village bridge then searched residents and vehicles,

Raid

1. At 18:10, Israeli forces raided Deir Ijreir village then stormed and searched a merchant shop.
2. At 23:20, Israeli forces raided Beit Ur village and detained 3 children.
3. At 03:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city and Al-Amari camp, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result injured a resident and detained 2 residents in Al-Bireh city.
4. At dawn on August 31st 2018, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Ammar Ishaq Amran Suliman {14 years old}, Majed Nader Majed Othaman {15 years old} and Daud Abu Hassan {15 years old} in Beit Ur village.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Thaer Abu Taha and Salam Mohammad Abdallah Abu Taha in Al-Bireh city.
3. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ziyad Dar Taha in Deir Abu Mash'al village.

Settlers Attacks

At 11:00, Israeli settlers stormed Jabal Al-Risan area located in west Ras Kar Kar village and planted 200 Olive trees on land residential land which is under threat of confiscation by the Israeli Military.

Attack

1. At 17:20, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Risan area located in Ras Kar Kar village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators who were protesting agiants Israeli Land confiscation and settler violence during which several protesters managed to uproot the trees which were planted by the Israeli settlers in the area and as a result injured 5 residents {including Chairman of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Committee and a Israeli peace activist}.
2. At 03:55, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Al-Bireh city and Al-Amary camp and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 5 resiednts {including Chairman of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Committee and a Israeli peace activist}: Waleed Assaf {Chairman of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Committee}, Kamal Abu Shafaqa, Thaer Shawabka, Hassan Eyad Hassan Al-Dik and Ayed Marar after firing rubber coated steel bullets towards several demonstrators who were protesting agiants Israeli Land confiscation and settler violence in Al-Risan area located in Ras Kar Kar village .
2. Israeli forces injured Abdel-Rahman Salem Masalha during clashes in Al-Bireh city and Al-Amary camp.

JENIN

Temporary Detention

At 15:00, Israeli forces positioned near "Salem" Military checkpoint located in North west Jenin city temporarily detained 2 residents {including a child}: Ahmad Ayman Mohammad Barakat {16 years old} and Mahmoud Ali Nafa' Al-Sa'di {both are residents of Jenin camp} for allegdly carrying a home made explosive device then released them at a later time.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 14:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Bardala village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 03:50 on August 20th 2018, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Na'im Al-Atiyani Daraghma after storming his home during their raid into Tubas city {in addition to those mentioned in the previous report}.

TULKAREM

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Quffin town then searched residents and vehicles until 20:45.

Raid

At 11:05, Israeli forces raided Safarin village .

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 20:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Sir village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 09:05, Israeli forces raided Hajja village.
2. At 17:10, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 20:50, the Israeli military intensified their restrictions at Beit Furiq military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 21:05.

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shavei Shamron" settlement then searched residents and vehicles until 23:35.

Raid

At 19:10, Israeli forces raided Iraq Burin village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 19:20.

Temporary Detention

At 20:00, Israeli forces positioned near "Alon Moriya" settlement which is located in east Nablus city temporarily detained 3 residents: Khalid Ammar Hassan Hashash, Mahmoud Ghazi Mahmoud Abu Zaytoun and Mohammad Ahmad Mahmoud Hashash {all are residents of Balata camp in Nablus city} then released them at a later time.

Attack

At 19:10, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Iraq Burin village.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 11:00, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at Za'tara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Settlers Attacks

1. On August 30th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Jabal Al-Malaib area located in Bruqin town then surveyed and took photograph's of the area.
2. At 02:00, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Kafil Harris town then withdrew at 02:30.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 07:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

At 13:20, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Container Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 14:00.

Raid

At dawn on August 30th 2018, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city and detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Yusef Mohammad Yusef Al-Zir and Khalid Mohammad Yusef Al-Zir in Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp and closed the steel entrance gate then reopened it at 19:15.

Raid

At 02:55, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed and searched a home and a coffee shop.

Assaults on Property

On August 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned in Suq Al-Libban area located in the old city of Hebron halted rehabilitation work by {The Reconstruction committee of the old city of Hebron} on a home owned by Ishaq Maharmat for allegdly not receiving approval from Israeli Authorities.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Gaza districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 07:30 on August 30th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 20:15 on August 30th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town.
3. At 21:30 on August 30th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Raid

At 08:20 on August 30th 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of east Gaza city and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 15:00.

Attack

1. At 11:00 on August 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Gaza city.
2. At 20:15 on August 30th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Gaza city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of residents and for the entry of emergency humanitarian and medical supplies.
