WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 23:00 on August 5th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village after they sealed off all the entrance leading to the village.
2. At 02:00 on August 6th 2018, Israeli forces raided Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city and clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes.

Detention

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces positioned in Atur neighborhood in Jerusalem city detained Susan Ismail Abu Ghanam and confiscated 7500 NIS after storming and searching her home.
2. On August 5th 2018, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Jad Jamil Hamada Siyam and Assad Musa Jaber {both are residents of the old city of Jerusalem} as they were in Bab Al-Rahma cemetery located near Al-Aqsa mosque.

Temporary Detention

On the evening of August 5th 2018, Israeli forces positioned in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city temporarily detained Uday Adnan Ghayth after storming and searching his home then released him after placing him under house arrest for a period of 7 days {1 week}.

Deportation

On the morning of August 5th 2018, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders banning 2 residents: Khalid Hassan Al-Zir and Eyad Jabr from Al-Aqsa mosque compound and Bab Al-Rahma cemetery for a period of 1 week and prevented them from being near Israeli settlers for a period of 1 month and imposed a financial penalty of 3000 NIS as a term for their release from Israeli Police custody.

Attack

1. On the morning of August 5th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at Shu'fat military checkpoint fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged firebomb thrown towards the checkpoint by unidentified individuals.
2. At 02:00 on August 6th 2018, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city.

Confiscation of Property

At 09:00, Israeli forces confiscated 7500 NIS after storming and searching the home of Susan Ismail Abu Ghanam as they detained her during their raid into Atur neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Closure of main Roads

At 23:00, Israeli forces closed all the roads leading to Al-Eisawiya village then reopened them at a later time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

1. At 11:20, Israeli Police forces raided Deir Ijreir village and opened fire towards a vehicle as they were chasing it then withdrew at 11:40.
2. At 15:00, Israeli forces raided Surda and Abu Qash villages, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several merchant shops then inspected surveillance camera footage in Abu Qash village then withdrew at 16:50.
3. At 03:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp, stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 04:15.

4. At dawn on August 6th 2018, Israeli forces raided Rantis village and detained a journalist.
5. At dawn on August 6th 2018, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Al-Rantisi {a journalist} in Rantis village.
2. Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Riyad in Deir Abu Mash'al village.

Attack

1. At 11:20, Israeli Police forces opened fire towards a vehicle as they were chasing it in Deir Ijrier village.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Arraba town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

1. At 14:50, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 16:20.
2. At 19:05, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Shufat military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

1. At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Quffin town, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 00:50.
2. At 03:10, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem camp and Tulkarem city, detained a resident after storming his home then withdrew at 04:40.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ala Rafiq Damiri during their raid into Tulkarem camp and Tulkarem city.

Attack

At 00:10, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Quffin town.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00 on August 5th 2018 and again at 07:50 on August 6th 2018 , Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 12:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 04:50.
2. At dawn on August 6th 2018, Israeli forces raided Azzun town and clashed with several residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ehab Abu Hamad and Tariq Salimi in Qalqiliya city.

Attack

At dawn on August 6th 2018, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Azzun town.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Deir Sharaf village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles until 11:25.

Raid

At 17:15, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village, as they escorted a group pf Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological sites in the area , during which they clashed with several residents then withdrew at 19:50.

Temporary Detention

At 22:00, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 residents: Manar Rabah Harbi Al-Haj Daud and Yusef Abu Zant as they were near Jabal Al-Tur area then released them at 23:10.

Attack

At 17:15, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they escorted a group pf Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological sites during their raid into Sabastiya village.

SALFIT

Raid

At 08:00, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Ein Dweik village located in North Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 12:15.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

At 04:45, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city, detained a resident and summoned Mahdi Omar Ziyada to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

1. On August 5th 2018, Israeli forces detained Mahdi Omar Khalil Ziyadat {A resident of Bethlehem city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
2. Israeli forces detained Maher Ibrahim Mohammad Nuwarat in Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At 02:05, Israeli forces raided Deir Sammit village and detained a resident.
2. At 07:00, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained a resident.
3. At dawn on August 6th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Fuwar camp and detained a resident.
4. At dawn on August 6th 2018, Israeli forces raided Ithna town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Nidal Mahmoud Safi in Deir Sammit village.
2. Israeli forces detained Firas Wael Abu Sharkh in Hebron city.
3. Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Mahmoud Hassan Al-Najjar in Al-Fuwar camp.
4. Israeli forces detained Hazim Jibril Al-Jayawi in Ithna town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 18:00, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Ibrahimi mosque in the old city of Hebron and placed Israeli flags on top of the mosque.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles.

•The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Central Gaza district
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by openeing fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza & Central Gaza districts.
• Israeli Military aircraft's broke the ceasefire agreement by launching missiles towards North Gaza districts and as a result injured 7 residents.
• A child died of serious injuries sustained after Israeli forces opened fire towards several residents during demonstrations in east Al-Buriej camp in Central Gaza on March 30th 2018.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 09:00 on August 5th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

Air Strike

At 11:35 on August 5th 2018, Israeli aircraft launched missiles towards a group of residents attempting to fly incendiary kites near the border fence in west Al-Bedwiya area located in North Beit Lahiya town and as a result injured 4 residents.

Injuries

Israeli military aircraft's injured 4 unidentified residents after launching missiles towards a group of residents attempting to fly incendiary kites near the border fence in west Al-Bedwiya area located in North Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 00:10 on August 5th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Deir Al-Balah city.
2. At 18:30 on August 5th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in Al-Buriej camp during the march of return and as a result injured 3 residents.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 resident including Mahmoud Marwan Issa during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp.

Killings

On August 5th 2018, the child Ahmad Jihad Al-Ayadi {17 years old} {A resident of Al-Maghazi camp} died of serious injuries sustained after Israeli forces opened fire towards several residents during demonstrations in east Al-Buriej camp in Central Gaza on March 30th 2018.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit of residents to travel for pilgrimage to Mecca.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
