Daily Report August 7, 2018

1. At dawn on August 6th 2018, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town and detained 2 residents.
2. At 16:00, Israeli forces raided Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city and clashed with several residents as they searched several homes.

Israeli forces detained Hytham Rabi' and Othman Badr in Abu Dis town.

On the morning of August 6th 2018, Israeli forces temporarily detained Nader Mohammad Ihaq Bibers {a journalist} after they stormed and searched his home in Wadi Al-Joz neighborhood located in Jerusalem city then released him after he paid a financial penalty.

At 16:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city.

At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles until 21:45.

1. At dawn on August 6th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village and detained a resident.
2. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Bir Ziet town, Kobar and Abu Shikhidium villages, stormed the Palestinian Police force and National Security Force headquarters in Bir Ziet town and summoned Sari Haseeb Al-Barghouthi {A resident of Kobar village} to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 06:35.

At 11:25, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the Bedouin community located near Al-Taybeh town junction and assaulted Ali Mohammad Musa Malihat and his sons during which Israeli forces detained his 4 sons as they attempted to prevent the assault on their father.

1. On August 6th 2018, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Bet El settlement located in North Al-Bireh city detained the child Amjad Aktham Othman {17 years old}{A resident of Beit Ur Al-Tahta village} for allegedly carrying a gun.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Hassan Musa Abu Leil in Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village.
3. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Mu'amar Ali Musa Malihat and his brothers Mohammad , Khalif and Sayil near Al-Taybeh town junction {as they were attempting to prevent Israeli settlers who assaulted their father}.

At 20:30, Israeli forces positioned at "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Bet El" settlement located in North Al-Bireh city temporarily detained Maysar Sariat Abdel-Majid Mustafa Hamad and Mays Saleh Jum'a Faris {both are residents of Silwad town} then released them at a later time.

At 02:30, Israeli forces stormed the Palestinian Police Force and Preventive Security Force headquarters after Palestinian Security forces attempted to prevent Israeli forces during their raid into Bir Ziet town.

1. On the evening of August 6th 2018, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town and clashed with several residents.
2. At dawn on August 7th 2018, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched 2 homes then detained a resident.

Israeli forces detained Majd Mohammad Tawfiq Kamil in Qabatiya town.

1. At dawn on August 6th 2018, Israeli forces raided Tubas city and detained a resident.
2. At 11:00, Israeli forces raided Bardala village.
3. At 22:00, Israeli forces raided Attouf village and Einoun area located in east Tubas city.

Israeli forces detained Uday Jihad Mahfouth Zid Al-Kilani in Tubas city.

At 11:00, Israeli forces positioned near Bardala village located in the North Jordan valley fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators who were protesting against the shutting down of the main water pipe lines used by farmers for irrigation purposes demanding their rights to access water and as a result injured 4 residents who were hit by rubber coated steel bullets.

At 16:00 on August 6th 2018, Israeli forces removed 4 families from their homes in Khirbeit Yarza village located in the North Jordan valley from 16:00 on August 7th 2018 until 06:00 August 7th 2018 in order to conduct military excises.

At 18:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Far'oun village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 18:55.

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 13:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 17:15, Israeli forces raided Aqraba town and Osarin village.
2. At 22:40, Israeli forces raided Beita town, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 00:15.
3. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Salem village, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 03:05.
4. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, stormed and searched several homes, detained a resident, temporarily detained another and released him at a later time then confiscated a vehicle owned by Ghassan Nayef Thuqan {A ex- Detainee} then withdrew at 03:30.

Israeli forces detained Bara Ghassan Nayef Thouqan in Nablus city.

1. At 12:35, Israeli forces temporarily detained Ameed Nael Mohammad Hanini {A resident of Beit Furiq town} as he was near "Yitmar" settlement then released him at a later time.
2. At 01:50, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 residents: Baha Ghassan Nayef Thouqan and Bara Ghassan Nayef Thouqan during their raid into Nablus city then released them at a later time.

At 22:40, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Beita town.

At 01:50, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Ghassan Nayef Thuqan {A ex- Detainee} during their raid into Nablus city.

At 11:40, Israeli forces leveled a plot of land near "Bargha" settlement located in east Burin town.

At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Qarwat Bani Hassan town, stormed and searched several homes , detained 2 residents then withdrew at 04:00.

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Eyad Izzat Yassin Assi and Ma'moun Mohammad Awad Mir'i in Qarwat Bani Hassan town.

At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahour city} then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.

1. At 15:35, Israeli forces raided Nihalin village until 17:40.
2. At 22:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Khadr town then stormed a soccer field the withdrew at 23:00.

1. At 17:00 on August 6th 2018 and at dawn on August 7th 2018, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, stormed and searched several homes, summoned 3 residents: Salem Abu Ramoz, Adnan Al-Atrash and Khalil Abu Sineineh to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
2. At dawn on August 7th 2018, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town, detained a resident and summoned Mus'ab Muneer Radawn Khalil to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

At 12:20, Israeli forces demolished a home owned by Ahmad Ibrahim Samara {located within the borders of Bet Al-Baraka area located near Al-Arrub camp}which was taken over by a settler association and sealed off another home with red-wax in order to prevent residents from attempting to thwart the demolition.

1. Israeli forces detained Jamal Ali Hassan Uday in Beit Ummar town.
2. Israeli forces detained Asma Ahmad Ibrahim Samara near Al-Arrub camp.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.
