WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eisawiya village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eizariya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

On August 8th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village, stormed a home after breaking down the main entrance and detained a child.

Detention

1. At 15:40, Israeli forces detained Loai Taysir Abu Al-Sa'ed {a Security guard at Al-Aqsa mosque compound} as he was reporting to Israeli Police Headquarters based on a prior summon.
2. At 23:30, Israeli forces detained the child Mohammad Yasser Najeeb {11 years old} after assaulting him in the old city of Jerusalem.
3. Israeli forces detained Saleh Wael Abu Wahdan {13 years old} in Al-Eisawiya village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

Settlement Activities

On August 7th 2019, Israeli authorities approved tender for the construction of 2304 settlement units on Palestinian land occupied in 1967.

Settlers Attacks

At dawn on August 8th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed a storage room owned by Adnan Abu Hadwan's family {located in Bab al-Mughrabi area, located southwest of Al-Aqsa Mosque }as they broke open the store entrance and removed all contents in the room as they attempted to seize it then later withdrew.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On August 8th 2019,Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city is open to residents exiting from the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh from 10:00 until 23:00 daily, and is open for the entry of residents into the cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh from 06:00 Until 22:00 daily and on Friday the checkpoint will be open from 07:00 until 23:00 and on Saturday will be open from both directions from 10:00 until 23:00.

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sinjil town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 11:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya town.
2. At 12:35, Israeli forces raided Deir Jrier village.

Settlement Activities

On August 8th 2019, The Israeli Prime Minister "Benjamin Netenyahu laid the foundation stone for the construction of 650 new settlement units in Beit El settlement located north of Al-Bireh city on land occupied in 1967.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 23:00, a group of Israeli settlers positioned at Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city stoned several vehicles travelling through the checkpoint and as a result injured a resident and his child leaving them hospitalized with contusions then withdrew at 23:35.
2. At 01:30, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp stoned several vehicles and as a result damaged several vehicles.

Injuries

Mohammad Abdallah Abu Safiya and his son Abdallah {6 years old} were hospitalized with contusions after Israeli settlers stoned vehicles travelling through Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city.

JENIN

Detention

At 18:30, Israeli forces positioned near Arraba town detained Mahmoud Hussien Ibrahim Awartani {a National Security Force Officer}{a resident of Arraba town}.

TUBAS

Confiscation of Property

At 09:00, Israeli forces confiscated a tractor owned by Ahmad Thiyab Abu Khaziran in Ras Al-Hamara area located in the North Jordan valley.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 21:30,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Beit Lid town until 05:50.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jit village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

1. At 09:30 and again at 21:35,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furik military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.
2. At 20:50, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded and redirected the free flow of traffic towards Awrta village.

1. At 12:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Muraba' area located near the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Bazariya village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
3. On the evening of August 8th 2019, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Yitshar" settlement junction and prevented vehicles from travelling along a bypass road near the settlement which leads to Jit village junction in Qalqiliya district.
4. On August 8th 2019, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Nablus city and Assira Al-Shamaliya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Deir Sharaf village then stormed and searched a home.

Settlers Attacks

On the evening of August 8th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near Al-Libban Al-Sharqiya village stoned vehicles travelling along the main road connecting Nablus and Ramallah and as a result damaged several vehicles.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Iskaka village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 23:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qarwat Bani Hassan town then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Raid

At 07:20, Israeli forces raided Jericho city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed the Church of Temptation.

Detention

At 02:50, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge detained Murad Mahmoud Ishtawi {a resident of Kafr Qaddum village} as he was returning from Jordan.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinata town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 10:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 12:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 15:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles.
6. At 17:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Marah Rabah village} then searched residents and vehicles
7. At 02:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 08:40 and again at 02:40, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town {(After the body of an Israeli soldier was found killed near the junction of the colony of Kfar Etzion),then stormed and searched several homes and shops then confiscated surveillance camera recordings.

Settlers Attacks

1. On the evening of August 8th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Kafr Itziyon" settlement roundabout located along the main road connecting Bethlehem and Hebron then stoned several vehicle travelling in the area.
2. At 00:10, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Nihalin town then stoned the home of Foad Najajrat in Nihalin town.
3. At 03:00, a group of Israeli settlers positioned in Al-Manshiyat area located near Teqou' town and stoned a home and a vehicle owned by Ahmad Abu Diya.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.
3. On August 8th 2019, Israeli forces set up 4 checkpoints at the entrances of Al-Arrub camp, Al-Shiyoukh Al-Arrub and Beit Einoun villages and along Wadi Sa'r road then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. On the morning of August 8th 2019, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa town,served military orders to demolish 4 homes owned by Ali Ahmed al-Sweiti, Thaer Abdel-Hadi Abu-Ghalia, Hassan Ahmed al-Sweiti, and Mohammed Aref al-Sweiti. and also served military orders to demolish a Industrial facility owned by Wissam Abdel-Azziz Al-Sweiti.
2. At 00:25, Israeli forces raided Halhul town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and merchant shops and as a result injured 3 residents.

Detention

1. At 13:05, Israeli forces detained 3 residents {including 2 children}: Walid Mohammed Kamel Ghaith, his brothers Malik {12 years old}, and Khalid {14 years old} in the old city of Hebron.
2. At 20:25, Israeli forces detained Abdel-Jalil Da'na near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound located in the old city of Hebron.

Attack

At 00:25, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes and merchant shops.

Settlers Attacks

At 20:50, a group of Israeli settlers from Kiryat Arba settlement located in east Hebron city stoned vehicles travelling along the main road near the settlements and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 3 residents: Nadim Abu Asbeh, Mohammad Maher Karajeh, and Mohammed Issa Zama'ra during clashes in Halhul town.
2. Nazih Abed {a Doctor} was injured after a group of Israeli settlers from Kiryat Arba settlement located in east Hebron city stoned vehicles travelling along the main road near the settlements.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles .

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry and exit of travelers.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
