Demonstrations

• On December 12th 2017,Mass rallies were launched in all cities and towns in all districts, rejecting the decision of the American president to declare Jerusalem as the "capital of the occupying state" and the transfer of the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to occupied Jerusalem. The participants in the marches stressed that the decision will not change the situation Which is protected by international resolutions and laws as an occupied Palestinian city, and that Jerusalem is the capital of the Palestinian people and its independent state.

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city and clashed with several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 03:10, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town, clashed with several residents and detained 3 residents.
3. At dawn on December 13th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 11 residents.

Attack

1. At 15:30, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya Military checkpoint fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 19:30, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

2. At 13:30, Israeli forces detained Malik Abu Adham {A resident of Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city}.
3. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Ali Walid Ayad, Emad Shehdeh, and his son Muhannad in Abu Dis town.
4. Israeli forces detained 11 residents: Tarek Marwan Obaid, Saleh Abu Assab, Qusay Dari, Mohammed Bilal Jalqema, Mustafa Jalal Jilmaka, Yazen Bassam Obaid, Yazen Ali Obaid, Mohammed Bilal Al Kisi, Mustapha Al Kisi, Ali Abu Senaya and Ahmed Kayed Mahmoud. in Al-Eisawiya village.

Assaults on Property

On the morning of December 12th 2017, Israeli forces escorting employees from the Israeli Antiquities Authorities stormed Bab Al-Rahma Cemetery located in the beast area of Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and chopped down trees's in the cemetery {for the third consecutive day}.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Ras Kar Kar and Deir Ibzi' villages then searched residents and vehicles until 09:30.

Raid

1. At 19:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Mughier village, clashed with several residents as they stormed several homes and detained 4 residents.
2. At 02:45, Israeli forces raided Silwad town, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 06:50.
3. At 03:05, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town, clashed with several residents as they stormed a home, detained A PLC member then withdrew at 04:35.

Attack

1. At 12:50, Israeli forces positioned in "Pesagot" settlement located in east Al-Bireh city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 12:50, Israeli forces positioned at "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Bet El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 4 residents and left 19 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
3. At 16:35, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Nabi Saleh village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
4. At 19:55, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Al-Mughier village.
5. At 03:05, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed a home during their raid into Beituniya town.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 4 unidentified residents during clashes near "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Bet El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city.

Detention

1. At 17:05, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Nizar Ahmad Saleem {A resident of Deir Abu Mash'al village} near the entrance of Ni'lin town.

Raid

2. At dawn on December 13th 2017, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Tariq Hillal Ma'ali in Jenin city.
2. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Sadiq Abu Baker in Ya'bad town.

Temporary Detention

At 01:10, Israeli forces temporarily detained 5 residents: MP - Khaled Said (member of the Palestinian Legislative Council), Rami Awad, Mohamed Awad Aljammal, Ashraf Mohammed, and Hadeifa Al Jamal during their raid into Jenin then released them at a later time..

TUBAS

Raid

At 04:50, Israeli forces raided Tubas city, stormed a home, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 06:40.

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Mahib Khaled Fayez Abu Salah, Mohammed Jamal Suleiman, and his brother Ibrahim. in Tubas city.

TULKAREM

Raid

1. At 20:00, Israeli forces raided Zieta town, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 22:00.
2. At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city and detained a resident.
3. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Sayda village then stormed 2 homes.

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Sa'id Salah in Tulkarem city.

Attack

1. At 11:00, Israeli forces positioned at "Ghishouri factories in west Tulkarem city fired fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 24 residents and left 19 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 20:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Zieta town.

Injuries

Israeli forces detained injured 24 residents {including}:Khaled Khaldoun Ezzat Rashed and Mehdi Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamdan during clashes near "Ghishouri factories in west Tulkarem city.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:55 and again at 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 24:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Jayyous and Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. On the morning of December 12th 2017, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city then withdrew at a later time.
2. At 15:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Fanduq village then stormed a home.
3. At dawn on December 13th 2017, Israeli forces raided Kafr Thulth then stormed and searched several homes.

Detention

On December 11th 2017, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mahmoud Taleb Yousef Ighbarieh, and Usama Wasfi Hamouda {both are residents of Qalqiliya city}.

SALFIT

1. At 13:20, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate near "Ariel" settlement in Salfit city opened fire towards a child as he was near the wall gate and as a result left him hospitalized in critical condition with a head wound.
2. At 18:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Deir Istiya town, fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Injuries

Israeli forces critically injured the child Hamad Omar Saleem Al-Masri {15 years old} after opening fire towards him near the wall gate near "Ariel" settlement in Salfit city.

Closure of main Roads

At 08:00, Israeli forces closed the steel entrance of Kafr Al-Dik town and impeded the free flow of traffic.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 16:30.

Raid

At 21:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Zabidat village, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result killed a woman {who suffered a heart attack after Israeli forces fired stun grenades towards her} then withdrew at 24:00.

Attack

1. At 15:10, Israeli forces positioned near the south entrance of Jericho city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 4 residents and left 8 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. Hamda Al-Zabidat {60 years old} died as a result of suffering a heart attack after Israeli forces fired stun grenades towards her during their raid into Al-Zabidat village.

2. At 16:20, Israeli forces positioned near the North entrance of Bethlehem city fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 00:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Al-Azza camp in Bethlehem city.

Israeli forces detained Khalid Waleed Awwad Abu Sarhan {15 years old}{A resident of Al-Ubidiya town} during clashes near Bilal Bin Rabah mosque located in North Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

1. At 08:30,Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoint at the south entrance of Hebron city and at the entrances of Wadi Al-Shajinat village and Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 17:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Hawawir area {located at the North entrance of Halhul town} then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 20:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Tarqumiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 14:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub camp, stormed Palestine Technical College located near the camp entrance then forced employees out of the college, detained a student then withdrew at a later time.
2. At 02:25, Israeli forces raided Karamah village and detained a resident.
3. At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Fuwar camp and detained 4 residents.
4. At 07:15, Israeli forces raided Khursa village and detained 2 residents.

1. At 08:45, Israeli forces detained the child Bashar Jihad Salim Abu Hamdiya {17 years old} in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. At 10:30, Israeli forces detained the child Amer Walid and Rasneh {13 years old} in Ras Al-Arroud area in Sa'ir town.
3. At 18:55, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammed Ibrahim Mohammed Halaiqa, and his brother Abdul Mahdi near the entrance of Al-Arrub camp.

7. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Ahmed Kamal Abu Taima, Sami Mohammed Shaaban Janazra, Saher Ibrahim Abed Rabbo Ghatasha, and his brother Mahmoud in Al-Fuwar camp.
8. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Anan Mohammed Ayed Shehatait, and Alaa Kamel Badawi Abreoush in Khursa village

Attack

At 09:00, Israeli forces positioned at Abu Al-Rish Military checkpoint in the old city of Hebron and near Beit Einoun village and Al-Fuwar camp and at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp and in Wadi Al-Duwarat in Sa'ir town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 3 residents near the entrance of Al-Arrub camp and left 9 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces injured 3 unidentified residents during clashes in Al-Arrub camp.

Assault on Educational sector

At 14:05, Israeli forces stormed Palestine Technical College and detained a University student after forcibly removing employees out of the college during their raid into Al-Arrub camp.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles .

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza and Khan Yunis and Rafah district and as a result injured 25 residents and left 19 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
•Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.
•Israeli Military aircraft broke the ceasefire agreement by launching missiles towards Khan Yunis district.
•Palestinian Gunmen broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fired and launching projectiles towards the Green Line

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 08:30 on December 112th 2017,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town
2. At 11:00 on December 12th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire and launched stun and tear gas canister towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town and as a result injured 2 residents.
3. At 15:00 on December 12th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire and launched stun and tear gas canister towards several demonstrators near Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified residents during clashes in east Jabaliya town.

Palestinian Attacks

1. At 19:00 on December 12th 2017, Palestinian gunmen launched projectiles towards the Green Line {which landed inside the Gaza Strip}.
2. At 22:45 on December 12th 2017, Palestinian gunmen launched projectiles towards the Green Line.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

1. At 11:00 on December 12th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire, launched stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city and as a result injured 14 residents.
2. At 16:20 on December 12th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line launched projectiles towards agricultural land in east Jahir Al-Dik town located in east Gaza city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 14 unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 13:00 on December 12th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line launched projectiles towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 12:30 on December 12th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire, launched stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Qaraqara town and injured 3 resident.

Air Strike

At 01:50 on December 13th 2017, Israeli Military aircraft launched missiles towards Palestinian gunmen locations in south west Khan Yunis town and as a result injured 3 residents and damaged several homes.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 3 unidentified resiednts during clashes in east Khan Yunis city.
2. Israeli airstrikes towards south west Khan Yunis town injured 3 unidentified residents.

Destruction of Property

At 01:50 on December 13th 2017, Israeli airstrike towards south west Khan Yunis town damaged several homes.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
