Daily Report December 18, 2017

At dawn on December 18th 2017, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town and detained a University student.

1. On December 17th 2017, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Al-Salaymah in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Tayseer Abdel-Jabber Zidan {A University student} in Abu Dis town.

At 15:00,Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued a deportation order for 2 children: Ameer Ibrahim Hushiya {15 years old} and Bassil Dweik {17 years old} {Both are residents of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city} forcing them away from their homes for a period of 7 days as well as fining them 2000 NIS as condition for their release after they were arrested earlier.

1.At 22:10, Israeli forces positioned in the old city of Jerusalem fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. On December 17th 2017, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ram town junction fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. On December 17th 2017, Israeli forces positioned at Ras Kabsah area junction located in Al-Eizariya town fired rubber coated steel bullets stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

At 09:00, Israeli forces stormed Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem and forced Hytham Fadil Abu Ramouz to demolish his home for allegedly being built with out a licence and also made him pay a hefty fine.

1. At 07:30 on December 17th 2017, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Atarah town bride then searched residents and vehicles until 09:00.
2. At 09:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles until 13:30.
3. At 10:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Taybeh town junction {located along Al-Mu'arajat road which connects Ramallah and Jericho district} then searched residents and vehicles until 11:15.
4. At 18:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ein Yabrud village then searched residents and vehicles until 21:00.

1. At 17:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Nabi Saleh village and detained a resident.
2. At 23:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city until 03:55.

Israeli forces detained Ramiz Mohammad Abdel-Rahman Al-Tamimi {13 years old} in Al-Nabi Saleh village.

1. At 17:20, Israeli forces raided Zubaba village until 00:25.
2. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Jenin city, Jenin ca,mp, Ya'bad town and Bi'r Al-Basha village until 06:10.

1. At 07:25 on December 17th 2017, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city, Anabta town and Kafr Al-Labbad village.
2. At 00:40 on December 18th 2017, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city, Tulkarem and Nur Al-Shams camp, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 03:45.

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Jawdat Qassim {A resident of Tulkarem city} and Layth Ali Musa Hussien {A resident of Nur Al-Shams camp} during their raid into Tulkarem city Nur Al-Shams camp.

1. At 08:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafr Laqif village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 15:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of east Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hajja village then searched residents and vehicles.

At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Azzun town and detained a resident.

Israeli forces detained Ameer Nour Al-Din Abdel-Rahman Rayan in Azzun town.

At 14:10, Israeli forces raided Burqa village.

At 10:50, Israeli forces positioned in south east Madma village located at the bypass road near Yitshar settlement fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

At 17:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Yassuf village then searched residents and vehicles.

At 23:55, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers then withdrew at 00:45.

At 10:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Oja village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 14:20.

At 21:30, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge assaulted Salam Mohammad Aqoub {A resident of Nablus} after she allegedly refused to be searched and as a result left her hospitalized with contusions.

At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city, stormed and searched a home , detained a resident then withdrew at 03:50.

Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Hamdan Mohammad Jibril in Bethlehem city.

1. At 09:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Hawawir area {located at the North entrance of Halhul town} then searched residents and vehicles until 11:50.
2. At 09:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles until 11:50.
3. At 11:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.
4. At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Dura town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:30.
5.At 20:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Einun village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:30.

1. At 20:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Karmil village.
2. At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Samou' town until 00:20.
3. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and Teqou' town, detained a resident then withdrew at 04:45.
4. At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Dura town, Al-Tabaqa and Khursa village, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 04:45.
5. At 01:25, Israeli forces raided Surif town until 02:05.
6. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Sa'ir town.

1. At 11:10, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 15:50, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Duwarat area in Sa'ir town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning, assaulted Ali Al-Jabarin leaving him hospitalized with contusions and detained a child.
3. On December 17th 2017, Israeli forces positioned near the south entrance of Al-Tuwani village { the main road leading to road 60} in east Yatta town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
4. On December 17th 2017, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed the Campus of the Technical College of Palestine near the entrance of Al-Arrub camp.

1. Israeli forces detained Mohammed Shaheen Al - Jabari in Hebron city.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Iman Jamal Abu Hawash - residents of Dura village, Shadi Fayez Al Namoura - residents of the village of Talba, and Omar Abdul Halim Talahmeh - residents of Kharsa village
3. Israeli forces detained Mohammed Nayef Mohammed Jabareen {14 years old} during clashes in Al-Duwarat area in Sa'ir town

At 15:50, Israeli forces assaulted Ali Al-Jabarin leaving him hospitalized with contusions during clashes in Al-Duwarat area in Sa'ir town.

On the afternoon of December 17th 2017, Israeli forces positioned in Khilat Al-Kutla located in Beit Ummar town near "Karmi Tsur" settlement and chopped down several Olive trees owned by Thabet Mohammad Ahmad Abu Mariya.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

At 14:00 on December 17th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire and launched stun and tear gas canister towards several demonstrators near Jabaliya town and as a result injured a resident.

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident as they opened fire towards then during demonstrations near Jabaliya town.

At 02:50 on December 18th 2017, Israeli Military aircraft's launched 5 missiles {in 3 consecutive strikes} towards Palestinian Gunmen located in Al-Waha and Al-Sudaniya area' in west Beit Lahiya town.

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

1. At 09:20 on December 17th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Jahr Al-Dik in east Gaza city.
2. At 13:30 on December 17th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire, launched stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Shaja'ia neighborhood in east Gaza city and as a result injured 4 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit of 566 residents{including medical patients, University students and Egyptian Passport holders} and the entry of several residents returning from the Arab Republic of Egypt as well as the entry of 11 fuel trucks.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
