WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 04:30 on December 18th 2018 and again at 03:20 on December 19th 2018, Israeli forces raided detained 16 residents and summoned 5 residents : Karam Mohammed Alyan, Mohamed Jamal Mahmoud, Mansoor Mohamed Mahmoud, Mohamed Ali Obaid and Wazen Bassam Obaid.to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.

Detention

1. On the evening of December 18th 2018, Israeli forces detained 8 residents: Anas Ali Derbas, Ali Derbas {60 years old}, Mohammed Ali Derbas, Saeb Derbas, Majd Bashir, Mohammed Amjad Derbas, Mahmoud Abdel Mahmoud, Karim Attia as they stopped several vehicles near the entrance of Al-Eisawiya village and confiscated 3 vehicles owned by Dabras family.

2. Israeli forces detained 16 residents: Abdul Rahman Na'agi, Mohammad Aziz Obaid, Rami Esmat Obaid, Taha Ayesh Obaid, Karam Mohamed Alyan, Mohamed Sultan Obaid, Zaki Sultan Obaid, Saber Shaaban Obaid, Saleh Abu Assab, Mohammed Mari Derbas, Qassim Munir Derbas, Mohammed Ahmed Abu Rialah, Ayoub Na'im Hamdan, Harun Mohammed Moheisen, and Qusay Jamal Mesbah Abu Ali in Al-Eisawiya village.

Attack

1. At 17:25, Israeli forces positioned in Abu Dis town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. On the evening of December 18th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Al-Eisawiya village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Confiscation of Property

On the evening of December 18th 2018, Israeli forces confiscated 3 vehicles owned by Dabras family near the entrance of Al-Eisawiya village.

House Demolition

On December 18th 2018, Israeli Forces demolished a home {200 m2} owned by Moath Aqil located in Jabal Al-Mukkabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city for allegedly being built with out a licence.

Land Confiscation

On August 27 2018, the Israeli occupation forces issued a military order no. (18/14/14) extending the confiscation of 1.468 dunums of the land of Anata town under the pretext of urgent security purposes until January 15th 2019.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

Since 11:35 on December 13th 2018, Israeli forces continued its closure of "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city {for the 6th consecutive day} and prevented residents and vehicles from crossing the checkpoint in both directions.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:55,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Taybeh town junction {along Al-Mu'arajat road which connects Ramallah & Al-Bireh with Jericho} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 12:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ein Yabbroud village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:40,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ras Kar Kar village then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 21:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafr Ni'ma village then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 02:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the junction leading to Surda village and Jalazoun camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town and detained a resident.
2. At 02:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh and Ramallah city then detained a resident in Ramallah city.
3. At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Bir Ziet town.
4. At 04:35, Israeli forces raided Kobar town and Abu Shikhiudum village, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and detained a resident in Kobar town.

Detention

1. At 09:30, Israeli forces detained Adham Ibrahim Ayish {A resident of A-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village}.
2. Israeli forces detained Khalid Nawabiet in Beituniya town.
3. Israeli forces detained Ayed Daha'ha in Ramallah city.
4. Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Ahmad Thiyab Rayan in Kobar town.

Attack

At 04:35, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Kobar town and Abu Shikhiudum village.

Settlers Attacks

At 16:00, Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Turmus'aya town and chopped down several Olive trees.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 22:40, Israeli forces raided Silat Al-Thaher town and Al-Atarat village.
2. At 04:35, Israeli forces raided Jenin city and its camps, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and detained 2 residents.
3. At 04:45, Israeli forces raided Bruqin town, Kafrit and Bi'r Al-Basha village.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammed Khalil Arsan Tahir Omar {a resident of Jenin City}, and Razin Bilal Al-Imad {a resident of Jenin Camp} during their raid into Jenin city and its camps.

Attack

At 04:35, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Jenin city.

TUBAS

Raid

1. At 19:15, Israeli forces raided Tammoun town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 22:00.
2. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Tubas city, detained a resident then withdrew at 06:00.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Rashid Ziyad Daraghma in Tubas city.
2. Israeli forces detained Maysarat Thiyab Bishirat in Tammoun town.

Attack

At 19:15, Israeli forces rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Tammoun town.

Destruction of Property

At 07:00 on December 18th 2018, Israeli forces uprooted 200 cactus seedlings owned by Firas Nimr Sawafta which were planted 5 months ago near Bardala village in the North Jordan valley.

TULKAREM

Raid

1. At 00:50, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city and Nour Al-Shams camp, Deir Al-Ghousoun and Attil towns.
2. At 04:55, Israeli forces raided Sayda village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Amjad Ahmad Al-Ashqar in Sayda village.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun town and Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Jit village then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 09:45, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 13:00.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Tel village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Deir Sharaf village junction{along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 11:40, Israeli forces raided Ijnisinya village.
2. At 15:55, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qalil village.
3. At 22:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Naqqurat village until 03:40.
4. At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Assirat Al-Qibliya village.
5. At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Nablus city then stormed and searched several homes.

Closure of main Roads

At 10:45, Israeli forces closed the main entrance of Osarin village with dirt mounds and impeded the free flow of traffic after an alleged stoning of settler vehicles.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 11:45, Israeli settlers stormed Al-Kharoub area located in Assira Al-Qibliya village located near "Yitshar" settlement and leveled approximately 5 dunums of agricultural land then withdrew under the protection of the Israeli Military.
2. At 20:50, a group of Israeli settlers positioned along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem stoned residents and vehicles and as a result shattered the windshield of a vehicle owned by Jihad Nasser Abu Bakr{A resident of Jenin city} then withdrew at 22:55.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafil Harris town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 09:20, Israeli forces raided Yassuf village.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:55, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem disrtict} then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 16:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 16:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Al-Khader town bridge {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem disrtict} then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jalla city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 17:15, Israeli forces raided Husan village.
2. At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city and Al-Duhishat camp, clashed with several resiednts as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result injured 2 residents then detained 2 others.

Detention

1. On December 17th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at "Kafr Itsiyon" settlement junction detained Saddam Aqel Dar Al-Haj {A resident of Ayda camp in Bethlehem city}.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Hamza Khalil Mohammad Al-Jadfari and Muneer Khalid Al-Jaffari in Al-Duhishat camp.

Attack

At 02:40, Israeli forces live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result injured 2 residents during their raid into l-Duhishat camp.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Raed Abdel-Hadi Shamroukh and Mohammad Hassan Abu Ajamiyat during clashes in Al-Duhishat camp.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Halhoul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Huwaweir area {located at the North entrance of Halhul town} then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 19:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp and detained 2 residents.
5. At 21:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Wadi Huriyat area in Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At dawn on December 19th 2018, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar and Beit Awwa towns then stormed and searched several homes.

Detention

1. At 00:15 on December 18th 2018, Israeli forces detained Tariq Al-Sayed Ahmad {a resident of Halhul town} during their raid into Hebron city.
2. At dawn on December 18th 2018, Israeli forces detained Jawad Soliman Abu Arram in Yatta town {in addition to those mentioned in the previous report}.
3. At 19:55, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint detained Samer Rassim Al-Haroub {A resident of Deir Sammit village} as he was returning home from Ramallah to Hebron.
4. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located near the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp detained 2 residents: Mahmoud Ahmad Al-Teti {A resident of Al-Fuwar camp} and Jawwad Hadib {A resident of Dura town}.

Settlers Attacks

On the evening of December 18th 2018, Israeli settlers from "Ador" settlement stormed agricultural land in Al-Taybeh area located in Tarqumiya town and chopped off the limbs of approximately 100 Olive trees.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result injured a resident.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 09:00 on December 18th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Gaza city and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident after opening fire towards agricultural land in east Gaza city.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 13:30 on December 18th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.

1. At 16:00 on December 18th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Rafah city.
2. At 17:40 on December 18th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah city.
