Demonstrations

• On December 19th 2017,Mass rallies were launched in all cities and towns in all districts, rejecting the decision of the American president to declare Jerusalem as the "capital of the occupying state" and the transfer of the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to occupied Jerusalem. The participants in the marches stressed that the decision will not change the situation Which is protected by international resolutions and laws as an occupied Palestinian city, and that Jerusalem is the capital of the Palestinian people and its independent state

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eizariya town {located near "Malee Adumim" settlement then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:20, Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoints at the entrances of Biddu town, Rafat and Qalandiya villages then searched residents and vehicles until 21:45.

Raid

1.At 01:30,Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town and detained 2 residents {including a National Security Force officer}.
2. At 04:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 3 residents.
3. At dawn on December 20th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town and detained a resident.

Detention

1.At dawn on December 20th 2017, Israeli forces detained 4 residents{including a child}: Mohammed Ashraf Shweiki {17 years old } {resident of Silwan}, Mohammed Tawfiq Al Shalabi {resident of the Old City of Jerusalem}, Tariq Al Amouri {resident of the Old City of Jerusalem}, and Amjad Yacoub Abu Assab -{resident of Al Sawwanah neighborhood}.

2.Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ashraf Al-Salamiya { a National Security Force officer} and Awad Al-Salamiya in Al-Ram town.
3. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Mohammad Abdel-Ra'uf, Yasser Darwish and Mansour Darwish in Al-Eisawiya village.
4. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Afanah in Al-Eizariya town.

Deportation

1. At 11:40, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued deportation orders for 5 residents:Mohammed Musa Mustafa, Khaled Abu Ghosh, Bashar Mahmoud, Amir Derbas and Hassan Jamjoom preventing them from entering Jerusalem city for a period of 1 week as a term for their release after being detained.

2. At 12:30, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued deportation orders for Rafqat Al-Qawasmi {60 years old} preventing her from entering Jerusalem city for a period of 60 days and fined her 1500 NIS as a term for their release after being detained.

Attack

1. At 19:30, Israeli forces positioned at Silwan neighborhood fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 19:40 Israeli forces positioned in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 20:00, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Eisawiya village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
4. At 20:10, Israeli forces positioned in Wadi Al-Juz neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Settlement Activities

On December 19th 2017, Israeli Authorities commenced the opening of a new Synagouge in the tunnel near the wailing wall underneath Al-Aqsa mosque which is on Islamic archaeological sites in the old city of Jerusalem.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Silwad town then searched residents and vehicles.
3.At 17:45,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Taybeh town junction {located along Al-Mu'arajat road which connects Ramallah and Jericho districts} then searched residents and vehicles until 19:00.

Raid

1. On December 18th 2017, Israeli forces raided Beit Liqya town and detained a resident after storming his home.
2. At dawn on December 19th 2017, Israeli forces raided Jifna village, detained a resident and confiscated 5000 NIS from his home.
3. At 10:55 and again at 20:10, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town, detained a child then clashed with several resiednts as they stormed a home.
4. At 23:50, Israeli forces raided Khirbit Abu Falah village.
5. At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Kafr Malik village, stormed a home then withdrew at 23:50.
6. At 04:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city and Al-Amari camp, detained a resident in Al-Amari camp, confiscated a vehicle and money from the home of Hussien Abu Kwiek then withdrew at 05:00.

Detention

1. At 14:30, Israeli forces detained Naramin Mahmoud Hassan Al-Tamimi {A resident of Al-Nabi Salah village} as she was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning {as she was attempting to visits her detained daughter Ahed Bassam Al-Tamimi {16 years old} who was detained by Israeli forces}.
2. Israeli forces detained Riziq Nassar Dar Musa in Beit Liqya town.
3. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Mahmoud Ahmad Safi in Jifna village.
4. Israeli forces detained Majd Ashraf Halayqawi {14 years old} Beituniya town.
5. Israeli forces detained Annan Atallah Abu Al-Arees in Al-Amari camp in Al-Bireh city.

1. At 09:40, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of "Ofar" Military base fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 10:10, Israeli forces positioned near "Al-Mahkama" Military checkpoint positioned near Bet El settlement located in North Al-Bireh city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards residents for alleged stoning.

Confiscation of Property

1. At dawn on December 19th 2017, Israeli forces confiscated 5000 NIS from the home of Mohammad Mahmoud Ahmad Safi after detaining him during their raid into Jifna village.
2. At 04:10, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle and sums of cash from the home of Hussien Abu Qweik during their raid into in Al-Amari camp in Al-Bireh city.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town and detained 2 residents.
2. At 01:25, Israeli forces raided Nazlat Al-Shiekh and Turat villages
3. At 04:25, Israeli forces raided Jenin city, detained a resident then withdrew at 07:50.
4. At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Jawad Mahmoud Harz Allah and Asaad Essam Amr in Ya'bad town.

2. Israeli forces detained Moath Fayiz Ali Abu Hattab in Jenin city.

TULKAREM

Attack

At 10:10, Israeli forces positioned near "Nataniya" gate located west of Tulkarem city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canister towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00 and 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hajja village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 13:30 and again at 21:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 19:00, Israeli forces raided Hajja village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 19:40.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town then stormed and searched 2 homes.
3. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Kafr Thulth village until 04:10.
4. At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Azzun town then stormed and searched 2 homes.
5. At 06:30, Israeli forces raided Sinariya village then stormed and searched a home.

Attack

1. At 09:30, Israeli forces positioned near Jaljuliya Military checkpoint fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 19:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Hajja village.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Yitshar" settlement then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Majdal Bani Fadil village then searched residents and vehicles until 17:30.

Raid

1. At 09:30, Israeli forces raided Taluza village.
2. At 11:40, Israeli forces raided Orif and Einbuis villages until 13:00.
3. At 20:50, Israeli forces raided Sarah village, detained a resident, assaulted a residents then withdrew at 00:30.
4. At 23:50, Israeli forces raided Nablus city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb, clashed with several resiednts and as a result injured 7 residents {including 2 children}, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:15.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Nimer Asaydeh in Sarah village.
2 . Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Al-Tabouq in Nablus city.

1. At 09:15, Israeli forces positioned near Burin village school fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 09:20, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Beit Furiq town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 23:50, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Nablus city and as result injured 7 residents {including 2 children}.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 7 residents: Shehab Hisham Subhi Marish, Abdel Hamid Mohamed Sarwan, Ismail Abdel Rahim Mahmoud Oufal, Kassam Nidal Kaabi {16 years old}, Khader Jamal Khader Mari, Mahmoud Mithqal Ahmed Omar and Bakr Mohammed Mousa Hashash {17 years old} during clashes in Nablus city.

Physical Assault

At 20:50, Israeli forces assaulted Omar Majed Turabi during their raid into Sara village

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Zawiya town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

On December 19th 2017, Israeli forces detained Salah Yazid Al-Arrid {A resident of Salfit city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning based on a prior summon.

JERICHO

Raid

At 08:20, Israeli forces raided Aqbat Al-Jabr camp in Jericho city. clashed with several residents, injured a resident then withdrew at 15:40.

Attack

At 08:20, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Aqbat Al-Jabr camp in Jericho city and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Abdallah Al-Hinawi during clashes near Aqbat Jabr camp in Jericho city.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

1. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city, detained 2 residents and summoned Mohammad Kawazba to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
2. At 02:25, Israeli forces raided Beit Jallah city.
3. At 02:25, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem city and detained 2 residents {including a child}.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Musa Hijazi and Sa'id Odah Jawarish in Bethlehem city.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Mustafa Aqel {15 years old} and Mohammad Akram Abu Khdeir in Ayda camp.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles until 10:00.
2. At 08:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp and detained a resident.
3. At 10:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 16:55, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Nabi Yunis area {located along the main road connecting Hebron and Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 17:30.

Raid

1. At 02:50, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, Tarqumiya and Yatta towns until 05:45.
2. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Kahil town and Deir Sammit village, detained a resident in Deir Sammit village then withdrew at 05:45.

Detention

1. At 00:20 on December 19th 2017, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Tahsin Abdel-Rahim Naji Shawar {64 years old} during their raid into Hebron city.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp detained Mohammad Ibrahim Abd Rabbo Ghatashat
3. Israeli forces detained Eyad Farid Al-Awwawdeh in Deir Sammit village.

At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Arrub camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Confiscation of Property

At 00:20 on December 19th 2017, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Mohammad Tah'sin Abdel-Rahim Shawar during their raid into Hebron city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

On December 17th 2017,a group of Israeli settlers places a candlesticks in Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by storming opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza,Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result injured a resident.
•Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 09:00 on December 19th 2017,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 09:20 on December 19th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire, launched stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in Beit Hanun -Erez crossing point located in North Beit Hanoun town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 13:45 on December 19th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire, launched stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Raid

At 08:10 on December 19th 2017, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed the east border fence in Deir Al-Balah city and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 13:30.

Attack

At 12:00 on December 19th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Raid

At 07:10 on December 19th 2017, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 100 m into the vicinity of east Al-Qarara town and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 08:10.

Attack

At 13:00 on December 19th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Farahin village.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit of residents{including medical patients, University students and Egyptian Passport holders}.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.

Attack

At 15:00 on December 19th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire, launched stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city.
