JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Khan Al-Ahmar area junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 21:30, Israeli forces raided Anata town and clashed with several residents.
2. At 21:40, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town.

Detention

1. At dawn on December 20th 2018, Israeli forces detained Rif'at Mohammad Salah Al-Din during their raid into Hizma town {As mentioned in the previous report}.
2. On December 20th 2018, Israeli forces detained Abdallah Najib {A resident of Al-Wad street in the old city of Jerusalem}.
3. On the evening of December 20th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at Shu'fat Military checkpoint in Jerusalem city detained Malik Muhis'ien.

Attack

At 21:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents during their raid into Anata town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 11:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

Settlers Attacks

On December 20th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers assaulted Yusef Awaydat {A resident of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city} and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

Since 11:35 on December 13th 2018, Israeli forces continued its closure of "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city {for the 6th consecutive day} and prevented residents and vehicles from crossing the checkpoint in both directions.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bir Ziet town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Kafr Ni'ma village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ein Sinya village then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 22:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Yabroud village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 20:45, Israeli forces raided Silwad town, Ein Yabroud , Beitin and Dura Al-Qara' villages {after an alleged shooting incident towards "Ofra" settlement} during which they opened fire towards several homes, detained a resident in Ein Yabroud village then clashed with several residents in Dura Al-Qara' village.
2. At dawn on December 21st 2018, Israeli forces raided Kobar town and took measurement of several home in order to prepare them for demolition.

Israeli forces detained Jubran Ahmad Jubran in Ein Yabroud village.

1. At 20:45, Israeli forces opened fire towards several homes during their raid into Ein Yabroud village then fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Dura Al-Qara' village.
2. At 20:45, Israeli forces positioned at "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Bet El "Settlement in North Al-Bireh city opened fire towards a vehicle carrying 4 residents and as a result killed a child and left another resident injured.

Israeli forces killed Qassim Mohammad Ali Al-Abbassi {17 years old}{A resident of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city} after they opened fire towards a vehicle carrying 4 residents near "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Bet El "Settlement in North Al-Bireh city.

Israeli forces injured Ali Hani Al-Abbassi {A resident of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city} after they opened fire towards a vehicle carrying 4 residents near "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Bet El "Settlement in North Al-Bireh city.

Closure (per District)

At 20:45, Israeli forces announced that Dura' Al-Qara' village as a closed military area {after a shooting incident towards "Ofra" settlement} and closed both entrances thus preventing residents and vehicles from entering or exiting the area.

Settlers Attacks

On December 20th 2018, a group of Israeli settler under the protection of the Israeli military leveled 500 dunums of agricultural land owned by residents of Um Safa village and located near "Atarit" settlement in an attempt to confiscate the land.

Raid

At 18:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Zababdat and Jaba' towns, Al-Kafir, Abba and Sanour villages until 19:30.

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces raided Quffin town.
2. At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Shweikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city then stormed and searched a home.

At 09:15 and again at 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalaqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Detention

At 20:35, Israeli forces positioned at Huwara military checkpoint detained Waleed Khalid Kalbounat {A resident of Balata camp in Nablus city}.

Temporary Detention

At 00:10, Israeli forces temporarily detained Mu'tasim Saqif Al-Hiyet {A resident of Nablus city} as he was travelling along the main road connecting Nablus and Ramallah then released him at a later time.

SALFIT

Detention

At 18:40, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara junction military checkpoint detained Imad Al-Sadiq {A resident of Nablus city}.

Settlers Attacks

At dawn on December 29th 2018, Israeli settlers stoned residents and vehicles near Harris village.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 10:30.

1. At 17:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jallah city then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

1. At 13:45, Israeli forces positioned at the vacinity of Billal Bin Rabah mosque located in North Bethlehem city detained Nadi Hussien Mohammad Ismail {A special needs patient}{a resident of Irtas village} for alleged stoning.
2. At 16:45, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Container military checkpoint detained Tarik Ayman Adnan Ashour {A resident of Hebron city}.

HEBRON

1. At 09:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Habayil Rabah Area located behind Al-Ahli clinic in the old city of Hebron then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 11:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Halhul town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Zif village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and Tafuh town then detained a resident in Tafuh town.
2. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Yatta town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Husni Al-Najjar in Tafuh town.
2. Israeli forces detained Qutayba Mohammad Al-Na'waja in Yatta town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
