Demonstrations

• On December 21st 2017,Mass rallies were launched in all cities and towns in all districts, rejecting the decision of the American president to declare Jerusalem as the "capital of the occupying state" and the transfer of the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to occupied Jerusalem. The participants in the marches stressed that the decision will not change the situation Which is protected by international resolutions and laws as an occupied Palestinian city, and that Jerusalem is the capital of the Palestinian people and its independent state.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town tunnel then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

1. At 15:10, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Hijazi and Hamza Hijazi {Both are residents of Jerusalem city}.
2. At 17:20, Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Ghayth in Bab Al-Amoud area in Jerusalem city.
3. At 20:00, Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Issa Mansour {A resident of Biddu town}.

Attack

1. At 13:40, Israeli forces positioned in Al Eisawiya village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 14:50, Israeli forces positioned in Ras Khamis neighborhood near Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

At 17:55,Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several resiednts for alleged stoning then assaulted a resident leaving him hospitalized with contusions as they set up a checkpoint near Zubaba village.

Physical Assault

Israeli forces assaulted Muneer Ahmad Ibrahim Jaradat leaving him hospitalized with contusions as they set up a checkpoint near Zubaba village.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 12:00.

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces positioned near Nataniya gate located in west Tulkarem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several resiednts for alleged stoning and as a result left several resiednts suffocated from etar gas inhalation.
2. At 21:35, Israeli forces positioned at wall gate 664 located in Shawkiya area in Tulkarem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several resiednts for alleged stoning.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hajja village then searched residents and vehicles.

At 19:00, Israeli forces raided Hajja village.

1. At 11:15, Israeli forces positioned near the wall gate located in Al-Naqqar area in Qalqiliya city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident and left 17 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 14:15, Israeli forces positioned near Jayyous town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified resiednts during clashes near the wall gate located in Al-Naqqar area in Qalqiliya city.

NABLUS

At 16:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Madma village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 11:20, Israeli forces raided Tel village and detained a child.
2. At 21:10, Israeli forces raided Beit Furiq town, clashed with several residents and as a result injured 3 residents then withdrew at 23:10.

Israeli forces detained Islam Assad Hamad {16 years old} in Tel village.

1. At 09:55, Israeli forces positioned at the south entrance of Madma village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents and left 4 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 10:10, Israeli forces positioned near the east entrance of Deir Al-Hattab village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

At 09:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Jiftlik village and clashed with several residents.

On December 21st 2017, Israeli forces constructed a section to the wall gate located south of "Tekoa" settlement.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Yunis area {located along the main road connecting Hebron and Bethlehem} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At dawn on December 21st 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub camp and detained a resident.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, stormed and searched 3 homes then withdrew at 22:15.
3. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Halhul town, stormed and searched 6 homes then withdrew at 06:15.

Detention

1. At 00:55 on December 21st 2017, Israeli forces detained Ashraf Mohammad Salem Jabarin during their raid into Al-Thariya town.
2. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Yusef Abu Ghazi in Al-Arub camp.

1. At 09:45, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Israeli forces injured Abdel-Hadi Fakhri Jaradat {17 years old} during clashes in Wadi Khanis area in Sa'ir town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza district.
•Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 06:30 on December 21st 2017,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in West Beit Lahiya town, temporarily detained 2 fishermen and confiscated their fishing boat then released them at 19:00.

Temporary Detention

Israeli Naval forces temporarily detained Mohammed Ghaleb al-Sultan, and Orenis Sharif al-Sultan {both residents of Beit Lahiya town} after confiscating their fishing boat off the shores of Al-Waha area located in West Beit Lahiya town then released them at 19:00.

Confiscation of Property

At 06:30 on December 21st 2017, Israeli forces confiscated a fishing boat after temporarily detained 2 fishermen off the shores of Al-Waha area located in West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 12:00 on December 21st 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Jahr Al-Dik town located in south east Gaza city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
