WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Adam Ahmad Salah Al-Din and Ramzi Farhan Al-Khatib {both are residents of Hizma town}.
2. On December 22nd 2018, Israeli forces detained the child: Mohammad Soliman Al-Dabas {15 years old} in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

Since 11:35 on December 13th 2018, Israeli forces continued its closure of "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city {for the 11th consecutive day} and prevented residents and vehicles from crossing the checkpoint in both directions.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Atarat town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ein Sinya village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 11:40 and again at 22:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Halmish" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 07:30, Israeli forces raided Beitin village, detained a resident and confiscated a vehicle.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mujahid Bahjat Hamad in Beitin village.

Confiscation of Property

At 07:30, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Mujahid Bahjat Hamad after he was detained in Beitin village.

JENIN

Raid

At 13:45, Israeli forces raided Kafr Dan village, temporarily detained 3 residents then released them after questioning by Israeli Intelligence officers.

Temporary Detention

At 13:45, Israeli forces temporarily detained 3 residents: Baha Mohammad Mir'i, Talib Omar Mir'i and Ammer Omar Mir'i during their raid into Kafr Dan village then released them after questioning by Israeli Intelligence officers.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 18:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 20:55.

Flying Checkpoints

At 00:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Quffin town then searched residents and vehicles until 03:55.

QALQILIYA

Attack

At 16:30, Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {protesting against the continued closure} for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 19:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furik military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Talfit village, stormed 3 homes and summoned Mahmoud Nassim Musalim to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 01:50.

Detention

At 22:10, Israeli forces detained Izat Salah Ali Ahmad {A resident of Kafr Al-Dik town in Salfit district} near Sabasitiya village.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 13:50, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Burin village and positioned near a old home owned by Ghalib Al-Khatib Ayed Dar Al-Saba' then withdrew at 17:30.
2. At dawn on December 12th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the east area of Huwarat town and attempted to attack a home during which local residents were able to prevent them.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Kafil Harris town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Harris village then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00 and again at 17:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jinata town junction then searched residents and vehicles until 13:10.
3. At 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} and detained a resident.

Raid

At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} detained Alqam Taha Abdel-Majid Alqam {A resident of Al-Duhisha camp}.
2. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Khalid Judat Dar Misa and Karam Mohammad Raja Da'doun in Al-Khader town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Simiya village junction {located at the entrance of Al-Samou' town} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Yatta town then stormed and searched a home.
2. At dawn on December 23rd 2018, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, stormed and searched several homes and summoned Oday Al-Sharabati to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza, Gaza and Rafah districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed.

Attack

At 16:00 on December 22nd 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 08:00 on December 22nd 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Gaza city.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 13:45 on December 22nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards Palestinian gunmen locations in east Abbassan town located in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 14:05 on December 22nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.
3. At 20:40 on December 22nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Fikhary town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

Attack

At 20:00 on December 22nd 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah city.
