WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eizariya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At dawn on December 23rd 2018 and again at 02:05 on December 24th 2018, Israeli forces raided Hizma town , clashed with several residents then detained a resident.
2. At 02:00 on December 24th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town , clashed with several residents and detained a resident.

Detention

1. On the morning of December 23rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa mosque compound detained Intham Abu Ramouz {A resident of Jerusalem city}.
2. Israeli forces detained Fou'ad Ali Al-Khatib in Hizma town.
3. Israeli forces detained Yazan Al-Hatawi in Al-Ram town.

Attack

1. At 02:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Ram town.
2. At 02:05, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Hizma town.

Destruction of Property

On the evening of December 23rd 2018, Israeli Authorities forced Ahmad Siyam to demolish a concrete wall surrounding his home in Ein Al-Louza area in Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem city and forced him to pay a financial penalty for allegedly building with out a licence.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 11:00, a group of Israeli settlers lead by "Yehuda Glick" {a Israeli Knesset Member} under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

Since 11:35 on December 13th 2018, Israeli forces continued its closure of "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city {for the 12th consecutive day} and prevented residents and vehicles from crossing the checkpoint in both directions.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Ras Kar Kar and Kafr Ni'ma villages then searched residents and vehicles until 10:00.
2. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atara town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Deir Intham village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 03:00.
2. At 07:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp and detained 3 residents.

Detention

1. At 19:15, Israeli forces positioned at Ni'lin military checkpoint detained Nadi Mohammad Abdel-Azziz Awad.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Ali Dabour, Ameer Anwar Nakhalat and Mohammad Khalid Abu Hilwa in Al-Jalazoun camp.

Attack

1. At 18:30, Israeli forces positioned at "Psagout" settlement located in east Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 02:10, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Deir Intham village.

Temporary Detention

1. On the morning of December 23rd 2018, Israeli forces temporarily detained 3 school girls {students of Beituniya secondary and higher learning school} in Beituniya town and forced them into a Israeli military Jeep then released them at a later time.
2. On the evening of December 23rd 2018, Israeli forces temporarily detained Sufiyan A-Sutan {Palestinian Authority Minister of Agriculture} as he was travelling from Ramallah to Hebron then took him at gunpoint to the entrance of the Givat Asaf outpost, which was built on the land of Beitin village, and allowed his passage later after he had searched his vehicle thoroughly.

JENIN

Detention

1. On December 22nd 2018, Israeli forces detained Baha Mohammad Hamada {A resident of Jenin camp} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence Officers based on a prior summon.
2. On the evening of December 23rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned at a Military checkpoint located along the main road connecting Jenin and Nablus detained Billal Nujat Fashafsha {A resident of Jaba' town}.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 16:00,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Tayassir" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Tubas city and summoned Usayed Kamal Sawafta to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.

Assaults on Property

At 12:00 on December 23rd 2018, the Israeli Military forced 14 families out of their homes in Ibziq village located in the North Jordan valley {after serving military orders at an earlier time} from 12:00 on December 23rd 2018 until 06:00 on December 24th 2018 for alleged military training in the area.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 15:40, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint until 16:55.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hajjat village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 01:35, Israeli forces raided Qaqiliya city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Sameh Afanat in Qalqiliya city.

Attack

At 01:35, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes in Qalqiliya city.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 21:45, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Madma village then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.
2. At 14:50 and again at 21:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Yassid and Imria'n village junctions then searched residents and vehicle until 22:30.
3. At 22:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Al-Bithan road {located at the east entrance of Nablus city} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 19:50, Israeli forces raided Majdal Bani Fadil village until 21:10.
2. At 00:55, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 04:30.

Attack

At 00:55, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Nablus city.

Settlers Attacks

On December 23rd 2018, a group of Israeli settlers from "Yitmar" settlement leveled a plot of land in Awarta village which is located near the settlement in an attempt to confiscate it.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.
2. At 21:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Marah Ma'la village then searched residents and vehicles until 20:30.

Raid

1. At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 04:10.
2. At dawn on December 24th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town and detained 3 residents

Detention

1. At 16:35, Israeli forces positioned at Container Military checkpoint detained Nader Abdel-Hafith Abu Maliya {A resident of Hebron city}.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Moath Ibrahim Soliman Al-Amour and Turki Mohammad Sabah in Teque' town.
3. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Mahmoud Khalid Salah, Mahmoud Ibrahim Ghineim and Mahdi Khalid Issa in Al-Khader town.

Settlers Attacks

At dawn on December 24th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Khamar area located in North east Beitar village, installed mobile homes in the area in an attempt to confiscate and set up a new settlement outpost during which Israeli forces prevented the local land owners from reaching the area.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Fuwar camp junction and detained a resident.
2. At 15:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Huwaweir area {located at the North entrance of Halhul town} then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:00, Israeli forces set up 5 checkpoints at the entrances of west Hebron city, Al-Shiekh neighborhood in the old city of Hebron, at Halhul bridge, the entrances of Al-Fuwar camp and Al-Karmil village the searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 12:55, Israeli forces raided Sa'ir town and clashed with several residents.
2. At dawn on December 24th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub camp and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located near Al-Fuwar camp junction detained Ameer Imad Khalili Atashat {A resident f Al-Fuwar camp}.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Adam Ibrahim Mahfouth and Mohammad Nasser Al-Badawi in Al-Arrub camp.

Attack

1. At 11:30, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Arrub camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents positioned at the entrance of the camp for allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail bomb towards a bus carrying Israeli settlers near Road 60.
2. At 12:55, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents during their raid into Sa'ir town.

Assault on Educational sector

At 11:30,Israeli forces closed the main entrance gate of Al-Khadoury Poly-technical college and prevented students from entering of exiting the area.

Assaults on Property

On December 23rd 2018, Israeli forces stormed a gas station located near Beit Ummar town and closed it down.

Closure of main Roads

At 11:30, Israeli forces closed the steel entrance gate leading to Al-Arrub camp and impeded the free flow of traffic from both directions.

Settlers Attacks

On the evening of December 23rd 2018, Israeli settlers stormed Tel Al-Rumayda neighborhood located in the old city of Hebron ,attacked the Al-Samoud and Tahadi Center and demolished a room belonging to the Center.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 08:15 on December 23rd 2018, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 13:30 on December 23rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Beit Hanoun town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 08:00 on December 23rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents positioned near the border fence in east Gaza city.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 08:45 on December 23rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 11:30 on December 23rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Abbassan town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.

Attack

At 11:40 on December 23rd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Rafah city.
