Demonstrations

• On December 26th 2017,Mass rallies were launched in all cities and towns in all districts, rejecting the decision of the American president to declare Jerusalem as the "capital of the occupying state" and the transfer of the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to occupied Jerusalem. The participants in the marches stressed that the decision will not change the situation Which is protected by international resolutions and laws as an occupied Palestinian city, and that Jerusalem is the capital of the Palestinian people and its independent state.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in front of Qalandiya Military checkpoint then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces raided Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city then stormed and searched several homes.
2. At 00:15, Israeli forces raided Biddu town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces detained Amjad Al-Shubaki {A resident of Silwan town }
2. Israeli forces detained Hussien Mohammad Nabeel Samara in Biddu town.

Attack

1.At 08:30 on December 26th 2017, Israeli forces positioned in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 00:15 on December 27th 2017, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Biddu town.

Physical Assault

1. At 05:00 On December 26th 2017, Israeli forces positioned near Bab Al-Silsilah gate {Chain gate} {a main gate entrance into Al-Aqsa mosque compound} in the old city of Jerusalem assaulted Osama Addib Abu Wahdan.
2. At 11:00, Israeli forces positioned in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city assaulted Hafith Da'ana and as a result left him hospitalized with s fractured hand.

Destruction of Property

At 05:30 on December 26th 2017, Israeli forces demolished several merchant shops and a live stock den in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city for allegedly being built with out a licence.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers during which Israeli Police officers prevented Najah Barikat {Director of Legal Education in the Department of Islamic Endowments} from entering the mosque.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Silwad town then searched residents and vehicles until 14:30.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Halhul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles

Raid

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town until 11:45.
2. At 09:40, Israeli forces raided Silwad town and summoned 2 residents: Mohammed Morshed Abdul Jaber Hammad, and Issa Murshed Abdul Jaber Hammad to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.

3. At dawn on December 27th 2017, Israeli forces raided Ni'lin town and detained 2 residents.
4.At dawn on December 27th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Janiyat village and clashed with several residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ahmed Mahmoud Sorour and Ibrahim Khalil Sorour in Ni'lin town.

Attack

1. At 10:15, Israeli forces positioned in Budrous village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children for alleged stoning then temporarily detained a child and released him at a later time.
2. At 12:00, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Mahkama Miltary checkpoint near Bet El settlement in North Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 14:20, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Deir Nathim village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
4.At dawn on December 27th 2017, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Janiya village.

Temporary Detention

At 10:15, Israeli forces temporarily detained the child: Mu'tasem Hamid Hussein {14 years old} during clashed in Budrus village then released him at a later time.

Closure of main Roads

At 14:50, Israeli forces closed the main road leading to Al-Jalazoun camp near "Bet El " settlement with cement blocks and impeded the free flow of traffic until removing them at a later time.

JENIN

Raid

At 09:00, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town then clashed with several school children.

Detention

At 17:00, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Rumana village detained Mohammad Salah Mahmoud Abu Sharabat {A resident of Rumana village{ As he was riding his motor cycle}.

Attack

At 09:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children for alleged stoning during their raid into Ya'bad town.

Confiscation of Property

At 17:00, Israeli forces confiscated a motorcycle owned by Mohammad Salah Mahmoud Abu Sharbat {A resident of Rumana village} after detaining him near Rumana village

Settlers Attacks

At 14:50, a Israeli settler in Khilat Hamad area located in the North Jordan valley paved a road to connect Khilat Hamad area with road (90).

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:15, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 12:00.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jit village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 17:00.

Raid

At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town until 04:30.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 15:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furiq Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1.At 08:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Madma village then searched residents and vehicles until 09:00.
2. At 11:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Muraba' area located near the entrance of Tel village until 12:0.0
3. At 13:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Assira Al-Shamaliya town then searched residents and vehicles until 15:50.

Raid

At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Naqura village until 00:50.

Assaults on Property

At 09:30, Israeli forces mapped and took photographes of agricultural land in Qusra village then withdrew at 11:00.

Settlers Attacks

At 23:05, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near Huwara military checkpoint stoned residents and vehicles passing through the checkpoint.

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles.

At 23:25, Israeli forces raided Bidya town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 04:50.

Attack

At 14:00, Israeli forces positioned at the North and South entrances of Jericho city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 13:30.
2. At 20:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Nihalin village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:40.

Attack

At 16:45, Israeli forces positioned in Ayada camp located in North Bethlehem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several resident for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child.

Detention

1. At 14:20, Israeli forces positioned in Wadi Al-Hums area located near Dar Salah village detained Mahmoud Mohammad Ali Assad {A resident of Irtas village} as he was travelling to work in Jerusalem city.
2. Israeli forces detained the child Hamam Ahmad Suliman Radi {14 years old} during clashes in Ayada camp located in Bethlehem city.

Confiscation of Property

On December 25th 2017, Israeli forces confiscated a bulldozer owned by Jihad Nasri Awad {A resident of Beit Sahur city} as he was constructing a road in Beit Ta'mar village.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Yatta town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Tariq Bin Ziyad school in the old city of Hebron then searched residents and vehicles until 21:30.
3. At 07:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa town then stormed and searched a home.
2. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub acmp, stormed and searched several homes and confiscated 3 vehicles.
3. At 03:15, Israeli forces raided Yatta town, stormed and searched several homes and detained a resident.
4. At dawn on December 27th 2017, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, stormed and searched the home of Noah Qufshiya and confiscated money.

Detention

1. At 11:40, Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Qutaybah Idris Hussain Jaradat {17 years old} {a resident of Sa'ir town}, Mohammed Omar Jaradat {17 years old} {a residents of Sa'ir town}, Mohammed Shawqi Muhammad and Rassana {17 years old} {both are residents of Shuyukh town} during clashes in Wadi Khanis area in Sa'ir town.

2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Yusef Harinat in Yatta town.

Attack

At 10:00, Israeli forces positioned in Abu Sineneh neighborhood, the south area of Hebron city, Wadi Khanis area in Sa'r town and at the entrances of Al-Arrub and Al-Fawar camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 4 resiednts including 3 children in Wadi Khanis area in Sa'r town and at the entrances of Al-Arrub camp .

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 4 residents: Ahmad Ra'fat al-Titi 15 years - residents of al-'Arub camp, Muhammad 'Abdul Rahman Muhammad Jawabreh 14 years old - residents of al-'Arroub camp, Jihad Imad Mousa al-Titi 14 years - residents of al-'Arroub camp and another in Wadi Khnis area. during clashes in in Wadi Khanis area in Sa'ir town and at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp.

Confiscation of Property

1. At 02:10, Israeli forces confiscated 3 vehicle owned by 3 unidentified residents during their raid into Al-Arrub camp.
2. At dawn on December 27th 2017, Israeli forces confiscated cash from the home of Noah Qufshiya during their raid into Hebron city.

House Occupation

At 09:10, Israeli forces occupied the home of Mohammad Mahmoud Abdallah Daud at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp and converted their rooftop into a military post.

Closure of main Roads

At 15:30, Israeli forces closed the agricultural road leading to Al-Masafar area located in east Yatta with dirt mounds.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by storming opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza districts.
•Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Raid

At 09:00 on December 26th 2017, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 70 m into the vicinity of east Jabaliya town and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 16:30.

Attack

At 23:55 on December 26th 2017,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1. At 13:00 on December 26th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire, launched stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city.
2. At 18:45 on December 26th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire, launched stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jahr Al-Dik town located in south east Gaza city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed {with the exception of the entry of Fuel supplies}.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
