WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At dawn on December 26th 2019, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Salah {a resident of Anata town}.
2. At 08:30, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Zaytouna military checkpoint detained Mohammad Talal Musa Ariqat.
3. At 17:30, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ahmad Samer Abu Sineineh and Islam Marsih in the old city of Jerusalem.
4. At 18:00, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Sadam Badwan {a resident of Biddu town}.
5. Israeli forces detained Ali Badr in Abu Dis town.

Temporary Detention

On December 26th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders placing 6 residents: Saleh Abu Asab, Anwar Obaid, Nidal Ghannam, Fayez Muhaisen, Muhammad Alyan, and Muhammad Mustafa {all are residents of Al-Eisawiya village} under home detention for a period of 6 months {during night hours} as a condition for their release after being detained at an earlier time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

On the evening of December 26th 2019, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Araba town junction after clashing with several residents.

Raid

1. At dawn on December 27th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Yamoun town and detained 2 residents.
2. At dawn on December 27th 2019, Israeli forces raided Jenin camp and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Adeeb Mustafa Samoudi and Moath Ibrahim Abu Al-Hassan in Al-Yamoun town.
2. Israeli forces detained Karam Abu Attiya in Jenin camp.

Attack

On the evening of December 26th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at Arraba town junction fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Eliyas village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

At 14:55,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Al-Hamra Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

At 15:25, Israeli forces raided Aqbat Jabr camp in Jericho city until 17:30.

BETHLEHEM

Detention

At 15:00, Israeli forces positioned near "Ghush Itziyon" settlement detained Sameer Abdel-Qadder Masalma {a resident of Beit Awwa town in Hebron district}.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Tarqumiya town then searched residents and vehicles until 11:00.
2. At 10:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Khursa village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 12:40

Detention

1. At 14:30, Israeli forces detained Ziyad Al-Rajabi in the old city of Hebron.
2. At 14:30, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp detained Imad Obeidat Al-Ra'i {14 years old}.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.
•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza district.

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 15:10 on December 26th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents near the border fence in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.

Raid

At 08:10 on December 26th 2019, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of east Rafah city and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 14:30.
