WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 04:00 n December 27th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Jadirat village and detained a resident after storming his home.
2. At 03:10 on December 28th 2018, Israeli forces raided Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

1. At 22:30, Israeli forces positioned in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city detained the child Baha Abdel-Azziz Aweisat {17 years old} after storming his home.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Shawqi in Al-Jaderat village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

Settlement Activities

On December 27th 2018, Israeli authorities approved plans for the construction of 1450 settlement units which include 220 housing units in the Givat Ze'ev settlement, 180 settlement units in the Neve Daniel settlement, 120 settlement units in Karmei Tzur settlement, and 129 settlement units in "Avnei Hefetz" settlement, 62 settlement units in "Ma'ale Michmash" settlement, 61 settlement units in Tzofim settlement, 42 settlement units in "Alfei Menashe" settlement, 55 settlement units in "Tomer" settlement, 18 settlement units in "Adora" settlement, 16 settlement units in "Matasad" settlement, and one settlement unit in the settlement of "Shilo", was also approved to expand the eastern settlement in the colony (Including 135 settlement units), and another 13 building plans are in the advanced stages of planning for approval (152 settlement units in Shavei Shamron settlement, 94 settlement units in the Hagai settlement and 100 settlement units). A settlement unit in Halamish settlement, eve Tzuf, 75 settlement units in the settlement of Shvut Rachel-Shilo, 98 settlement units near the settlement of Ma'ale Amos, 82 settlement units in the settlement of Ofra, and two settlement units in Tzofim settlement) on the land Palestinian owned land occupied in 1967.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

Since 11:35 on December 13th 2018, Israeli forces continued its closure of "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city {for the 15th consecutive day} and prevented residents and vehicles from crossing the checkpoint in both directions.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ni'lin town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp, temporarily detained Aram Rajab Abu Radahat then released him at a later time.

Temporary Detention

At 03:00, Israeli forces temporarily detained Aram Rajab Abu Radahat during their raid into Al-Jalazoun camp then released him at a later time.

TUBAS

Assaults on Property

At 12:00 on December 26th 2018, Israeli forces stormed Khirbeit Ibziq village located in the North Jordan valley forcibly removed residents from their homes from 12:00 on December 26th 2018 until 06:00 on December 27th 2018 for alleged military training in the area.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 17:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 21:15.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Muraba'a area located near the entrance of Tel village and detained a resident.

Raid

At 23:20, Israeli forces raided Burqa village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 02:45.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near Tel village detained Abdel-Rahman Ahmad Assidat {A resident of Tel village}.

Attack

At 23:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Burqat village.

SALFIT

Raid

At 11:40, Israeli forces raided Bidya town as they escorted maintenance workers who fixed High voltage power lines then withdrew at a later time.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 13:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

At 10:50, Israeli forces raided Nihalin village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 12:00.

Attack

At 10:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Nihalin village.

HEBRON

Detention

On December 27th 2018, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Khalid Al-Batsh and Qaiyes Nabil Al-Batish {both are residents of Al-Fuwar camp}.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding Central Gaza district.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza and Khan Yunis districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 13:30 on December 27th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 09:15 on December 27th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Raid

At 11:20 on December 27th 2018, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 50m into the vicinity of Al-Buriej camp then opened fire as they leveled a plot of land and withdrew at 12:00.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 08:30 on December 27th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Qarara town located in North east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 11:50 on December 27th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
