WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 19:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Al-Issawiya, and clashes took place with citizens as they stormed a number of homes.

Temporary Detention

At 10:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near Al-Asbat Gate (one of the gates leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem temporarily detained Hanadi Al-Jalwani and released her at a later time.

Attack

At 19:45, the Israeli occupation forces fired sound and tear gas canisters at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones as they stormed and searched a number of houses during their raid into the village of Al-Issawiya.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

1. At 03:30, Israeli occupation forces raided Al-Bireh and Ni'lin town, and patrolled until 04:50.
2. At 03:40, Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beit Luqia and detained a citizen.

Detention

1. At 03:35 on 12/27/2020, the Israeli occupation forces detained Ishaq Amin Abdel Qader Younis, 77 years old during their raid into Ramallah city (as mentioned in the previous report).
2. The detainee in the town of Beit Luqia is: Muhammad Saud Al-Asi.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 08:05, Israeli occupation forces raided Al-Zababdeh town, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 08:55,Israeli occupation forces raided the villages of Taanak and Zobaba, and delivered notices to demolish 4 homes and an agricultural greenhouse in the village of Taanak, under the pretext of not having a permit, owned by the citizens: Ibrahim Ahmed Mahmoud Qadhaila (a house haunted two years ago), Mahmoud Ahmad Qadilah (house) Riyad Muhammad Dawasa (house), Dhib Nimer Shabibo (house under construction), and Mahmoud Jamil Abu Qadhaila (an agricultural greenhouse)
3. At 09:10,Israeli occupation forces raided Jaba town and Sanur village, and conducted a patrol.
4. At 23:00, Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Tura al-Gharbeya, stormed a number of houses, and made digging in the pillars of a house, in preparation for its demolition, and its ownership belongs to the family of the prisoner: Muhammad Marwah Qabha (whom the occupation forces accuse of killing a settlement).
5. At 00:30, Israeli occupation forces raided Arraba town, and patrolled until 02:55.
6. At dawn on 28. 12. 2020, Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Jaba, where clashes took place with citizens during the raid on a number of houses, detained a citizen, and confiscated his private vehicle.

Detention

The detainee in the town of Jaba is: Bilal Fathi Kanaan.

Attack

At dawn on 12/28/2020, , the occupation forces fired sound and tear gas canisters at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been pelted with stones as they stormed and searched a number of houses during their raid of the town of Jaba.

Confiscation of Property

At dawn on 12/28/2020, the occupation forces confiscated a private vehicle owned by: Bilal Fathi Kanaan as they detained him during their raid into the town of Jaba.

TUBAS

Raid

At 09:00,Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Aqaba, and patrolled until 16:30.

TULKAREM

Raid

1. At 08:45, Israeli occupation forces raided Nour Shams camp in Tulkarm, and patrolled until 10:30.
2. At 09:30, Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Balaa, and conducted a patrol until 10:30.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ezbet El-Tabib, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 15:20,the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to Qalqilya, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 18:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Azzun, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At 13:20, Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Ezbet Al-Ashqar, and patrolled until 15:10.
2. At 03:30, Israeli occupation forces raided Qalqilya, detained 2 civilians, and withdrew at 05:45.

Detention

The two detainees in the city of Qalqilya are: Hassan Bashir Helwan and Saddam Bakr Jaidi.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Madama village, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 17:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Tal village, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

At 00:30, Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Salem, and patrolled until 05:10.

Settlers Attacks

At 20:30, a group of settlers came near the Al-Sawiya junction, and threw stones at the civilians' vehicles travelling in the area.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00, the Israeli occupation force set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Salfit, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 09:00, the Israeli occupation force set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Deir Ballut, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 17:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Deir Istiya, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

At 01:40,Israeli occupation forces raided the towns of Kafeel Hares, Deir Istiya and Qarawat Bani Hassan, and detained 3 civilians (including a child).

Detention

The 3 detainees in the towns of Kifl Haris, Deir Istiya, and Qarawat Bani Hassan are: Yusef Samih Assi, 17, - a resident of the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, Muhammad al-Asaad - a resident of the town of Kifl Haris, and Mu'taz Hani Suleiman - a resident of Deir Istia.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:25 and again at 21:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Jericho to search cars and check citizens' identities until 22:25.
2. At 10:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to Jericho, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

At 01:55, Israeli occupation forces raided Jericho city, and patrolled until 05:30.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Al-Nashash area junction (the southern entrance to Bethlehem), to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 16:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Tuqu 'town, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 18:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At 21:45, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Marah Rabah, and patrolled until 23:45.
2. At 01:55, the Israeli occupation forces raided Beit Fajjar town, stormed and searched a house, and withdrew at 04:30.
3. At 02:15,the Israeli occupation forces raided Beit Jala and Al Khader town, detained a child in Al-Khader town, and withdrew at 04:10.

Detention

1. At 22:30, the occupation forces positioned at the (Container) checkpoint detained the university student: Nader Muhammad Ahmad Awaidat - a residents of the village of Sheikh al-Aroub in the Hebron governorate.
2. The detainee in the town of Al-Khader is: Mahmoud Ismail Issa Salah, 16 years old.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Yakin area (the entrance to the town of Bani Na`im), to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 14:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to Hebron, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At dawn on 12/27/2020, the Israeli occupation forces raided Beit Ummar town and detained 2 children.
2. At 00:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided Hebron and Deir al-Asal al-Fawqa village, detained 2 citizens in the city, and withdrew at 03:45.

Detention

1. The two detainees in the town of Beit Ummar are: Hassan Walid Jamal Sabarneh, 16, and Diyar Salibi, 16.
2. The two detainees in Hebron are: Ma'moun Muhammad al-Haymouni and Nabil al-Jabari.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The occupying forces violated the ceasefire, by firing from their positions on the Green Line in the governorates of North Gaza, Central Gaza and Khan Yunis, and by firing at boats of fishermen while chasing them at sea in North Gaza Governorate.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": on 12/27/2020, is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).

Attack

1. At 09:00 on 12/27/2020, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the Al-Sudania beach, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
2. At 12:00 on 12/27/2020, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line towards agricultural lands north of Beit Hanoun town.
3. At 16:15 on 12/27/2020, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of the town of Beit Hanoun.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

1. At 15:00 on 12/27/2020, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Maghazi Camp.
2. At 21:45 on 12/27/2020, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Deir Al-Balah.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 08:00 on 12/27/2020, the occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Al-Qarara town, northeast of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: On 12/27/2020 is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods and building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 12/27/2020, is closed.
