Daily Report December 29, 2018

1. On December 28th 2018, Israeli forces temporarily detained Sa'ed Abu Ramouz {A resident of Wadi Al-Juz neighborhood in Jerusalem city} then released him after summoning him to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
2. On December 28th 2018, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city sentenced 2 children: Ahmad Eyad Al-Rajabi {13 years old} and Hamza Zuhier Al-Rajabi {16 years old} {Both are residents of Jerusalem city} to 5 days house arrest and fined them 500 NIS each as a condition for their release after being detained by Israeli forces at an earlier time.

At 12:45, Israeli forces positioned in Jabal Al-Risan area located near Ras Kar Kar village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {participating in demonstrations against land confiscation and settler violence} for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 12:45, Israeli forces positioned in Ni'lin town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who were participating in demonstrations against the construction of the wall and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
3. At 12:45, Israeli forces positioned in Bil'in village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who were participating in demonstrations against the construction of the wall and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

At 07:30, Israeli forces damaged 2 vehicles owned by Mohammad Jamil Abu Khamis and Araffat Jamil Abu Khamis as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Faqu'a village.

At 12:55, Israeli forces positioned at "Enav" military checkpoint detained Ayman Rabah Gharib Bani Odah {A Palestinian Police Force Officer}{A resident of Tammoun town in Tubas District}.

Israeli forces detained the child: Karam Soliman Abu Shihab {15 years old}{A resident of Qalqiliya city} during clashes near "Ayal" crossing point located in North Qalqiliya city.

At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bazariya village then searched residents and vehicles until 01:00.

On December 28th 2018, Israeli forces positioned near Aqbat Al-Jabr camp in Jericho city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

At 12:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Nihalin village then searched residents and vehicles until 15:00.

On the evening of December 28th 2018, Israeli settlers positioned in Tel Al-Rumayda neighborhood in the old city of Hebron assaulted Hatem Samih Al-Muhtasib and as as result left him hospitalized with contusions.

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result killed 1 resident , injured 6 residents {including a child, a journalists and 2 Paramedics}and left 31 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
• Israeli Fighter Jets broke the ceasefire agreement by launching missiles towards Central Gaza district.
• Palestinian Gunmen broke the ceasefire agreement by launching projectiles towards the Green Line.

At 23:00 on December 28th 2018, Israeli forces detained a unidentified residents who attempted to climb the border fence from North Beit Lahiya town into Israel.

At 23:50 on December 28th 2018, Palestinian Gunmen launched projectiles towards the Green Line.

At 02:10 on December 29th 2018, Israeli fighter Jets launched 2 missiles towards Palestinian Gunmen locations in east Deir Al-Balah city

Israeli forces injured 3 unidentified residents inclduing Ahmad Salah Ahmad Al-Naqa {A Paramedic} and Dalia Bassam Ahmad Abu Rayidat {A Paramedic} after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

At 14:00 on December 28th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city participating in the right of return march and as as a result left 11 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
