Demonstrations

• On December 29th 2017,Mass rallies were launched in all cities and towns in all districts, rejecting the decision of the American president to declare Jerusalem as the "capital of the occupying state" and the transfer of the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to occupied Jerusalem. The participants in the marches stressed that the decision will not change the situation Which is protected by international resolutions and laws as an occupied Palestinian city, and that Jerusalem is the capital of the Palestinian people and its independent state.

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Jaba' village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

1. At 12:20, Israeli forces positioned near Ras Kabsah area junction in Al-Eizariya town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 15:00, Israeli forces positioned in Abu Dis town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 15:30, Israeli forces positioned near the North junction of Al-Ram town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Closure of main Roads

At 18:00, Israeli forces closed the west entrance of Al-Eisawiya village and impeded the free flow of traffic.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Attack

1. At 12:35, Israeli forces positioned in Ni'lin town and Bil'in village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 12:35, Israeli forces positioned in Beituniya town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 12:55, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
4. 2. Israeli forces injured a unidentified residents during clashes near "Psagot" settlement located in east Al-Bireh city.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:00, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the North and east entrances of Ya'bad town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 17:15 and again at 02:40, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town and detained 3 residents {including a child}.
2. At 19:20, Israeli forces raided Turat village, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 00:30.
3. At 21:30, Israeli forces raided Zubaba, Rumana and Ti'inik villages.
4. At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Araba town, Nazlat Al-Shiekh and Annin villages.
5. At 03:20, Israeli forces raided Jenin city, Jenin camp and Bruqin town.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Mohammed Yusuf Yacoub Tawfik, Hafez Ibrahim Abu Bakr, and Khaled Arafat {17 years old} in Ya'bad town.

At 22:00, Israeli forces detained Saddam Hussein Abdul Wali Bani Odeh {A residents of Tammoun} in Attouf village.

At 16:25, Israeli forces raided Quffin town until 17:50.

At 15:45, Israeli forces positioned near the wall gate in Quffin town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

QALQILIYA

At 16:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 12:30, Israeli forces positioned near the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 12:30, Israeli forces positioned near the wall gate in Jayyous town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

4 .Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Omar Daraghmeh, and Amir Ahmed Awis during clashes near the entrance of Al-Labban Al-Sharqiya village.

5. Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident during clashes near Assira Al-Qibliya village.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohamed Bassam Nasr Hanani, and Saher Omar Khatatba in Beit Furiq town.

2. Israeli forces detained Essam Othman Hamail {17 years old} during clashes near the entrance of Beita town.

At 15:20, Israeli forces closed the entrance of Beita town with dirt mounds and cement blocks.

At 12:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Al-Hamara Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

1. At 09:10, Israeli forces positioned near the North entrance of Jericho city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 13:05, Israeli forces positioned near the south entrance of Jericho city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident and left 2 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jallah city then searched residents and vehicles until 17:30.
2. At 22:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.

Raid

1. At dawn on December 29th 2017, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city, and summoned 2 residents: Hudhayfah Ed Mahmoud Abayat, Fares Khalaf Salama Abayat to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.

2. At 11:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Jallah city, temporarily detained a resident then released him at a later time.
3. At 13:20, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town.

Temporary Detention

At 11:30, Israeli forces temporarily detained Mohammad Samir Ali Al-Arouj {A resident of Teqou' town} during their raid into Beit Jallah city then released him at a later time.

Attack

1. At 11:40, Israeli forces positioned in the vicinity of Billal Bin Rabah mosque located in Bethlehem city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 12:50, Israeli forces positioned near the west entrance of Teqou' town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

HEBRON

At 11:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Wadi Al-Juz area located near the entrance of Bani Na'im town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, Yatta and Al-Samou' towns, stormed and searched several homes and detained a resident on Yatta town.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Omar Yusef Al-Harini in Yatta town.

Attack

1. At 12:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Durat area located in south Sa'ir town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several resiednts for alleged stoning.
2. At 12:40, Israeli forces positioned in Bab Al-Zawiya area located in Hebron city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several resiednts for alleged stoning and as a result left several resiednts suffocated from tear gas inhalation then temporarily detained 6 residents {including 5 children} and released them at a later time..
3. At 12:40, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Arrub camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several resiednts for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents {including a child} and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
4. At 14:00, Israeli forces positioned near Beit Ummar town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several resiednts for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
5. At 15:15, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several resiednts for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

1.Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Mohammed Abdul Rahman Hussein Abu Sal, and Mahmoud Jabr Al-Hoor {13 years old} during clashes near Al-Arrub camp.
2. Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident during clashes near the entrance of Beit Ummar town.
3. Israeli forces injured Mohamed Waleed Mohammed Al-Titi during clashes in Al-Fuwar camp.

Temporary Detention

At 12:40, Israeli forces temporarily detained 6 residents {including 5 children}: Alaa Bassam Ramadan Abu Madi {15 years old}, Amir Munjid Nader Abu Assab {15 years years old}, Moataz Haitham Mohammad Hashim Asaad {16 years old}, Muhi Jihad Kalawi Zaid {14 years old}, Mohammed Jouda Rashid Al Taweel {15 years old} and Ahmed Ali Abdullah Taha during clashes in Bab Al-Zawiya area located in Hebron city then released them at a later time .

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by launching tank artillery shells and opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza Central Gaza and Khan Yunis districts and as a result killed a resident, injured 50 others {including 5 in critical condition} and left 120 residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
• Palestinian gunmen broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire and launching 3 projectiles towards the Green Line.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 13:00 on December 29th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire and launched stun and tear gas canister towards several demonstrators near Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 13:00 on December 29th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire and launched stun and tear gas canister towards several demonstrators near east Jabaliya town and as a result injured 11 resiednts{including 1 critical injured} and left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces injured 11 unidentified residents during clashes in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

1. At 13:00 on December 29th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire and launched stun and tear gas canister towards several demonstrators near east Al-Shija'iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city and as a result injured 19 residents {including 1 critically injured} and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. On the afternoon of December 29th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line launched tank artillery shells toward several Palestinian gunmen locations in east east Al-Shija'iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city .

2. On the afternoon of December 29th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line launched several tank artillery shells towards agricultural land in east Deir Al-Balah city.

Killings

On the Morning of December 30th 2017, Jamal Mohammad Jamal Muslih {20 years old}{A resident of Al-Maghazi camp} died of injuries sustained during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp on December 29th 2017.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 6 unidentified residents during clashes in Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 13:00 on December 29th 2017,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire and launched stun and tear gas canister towards several demonstrators in east Khan Yunis city and as a result injured 14 residents {including 2 critically injured} and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
