Flying Checkpoints

On the evening of December 29th 2019, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Al-Eizariya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Deportation

On December 29th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders extending a ban on Nitham Abu Ramouz from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound for an additional 6 months.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00,a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp until 05:00.
2. At 04:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Rima town and detained 2 residents.
3. At 04:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city and Al-Amary camp, clashed with several residents in Al-Amary camp then detained 2 University students.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Najeh Fayez Erhimia and Abdel-Moaty Karam Rimawi in Beit Rima town.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 University students: Ziyad Abu Kweik and Yahya Rumana in Al-Amary camp.

1. At 11:15, Israeli forces positioned at "Ofar" military base fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 04:35, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Al-Bireh city and Al-Amary camp

TUBAS

Assaults on Property

At 11:35, Israeli forces served military orders to halt the cultivation of a plot of land of approximately 10 dunums, owned by Rami Naguib Foqha for allegdly being a archaeological site.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Anabta town and detained 5 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Anas Ethar Abu Khamish, Ahmed Omar Abu Asal, Muath Ahmed Mustafa Abu Asal, Ahmed Mahmoud Sharaqa, and Youssef Muhammad Nassar during their raid into Anabta town.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:55, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city and near the entrance of Al-Nabi Eliyas village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:15.

Raid

At 22:15, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, detained a resident then withdrew at 06:00.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ammar Dwikat in Qalqiliya city.

NABLUS

Raid

1. At 22:05, Israeli forces raided Burin village then stormed and searched a home.
2. At 23:25, Israeli forces raided Nablus city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb , during which they clashed with several residents and as a result injured 3 residents then withdrew at 05:50.

Attack

At 23:25, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Joseph's Tomb during their raid into Nablus city and as a result injured 3 residents and left 6 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 residents including Nitham Moayad Nathim Ashour during clashes in Nablus city.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles.

At 19:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Zawiya town.

JERICHO

At 12:55,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road in Al-Oja village then searched residents and vehicles.

At 15:30, Israeli forces raided Jericho city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed The Church of Temptation then withdrew at a later time.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 11:55.
2. At 12:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahur city} then searched residents and vehicles until 17:10.

Raid

At 09:50, Israeli forces raided Irtas village as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Solomon Pools archaeological site then withdrew at 16:20

Attack

On December 29th 2019, Israeli forces positioned near the west entrance of Teqou' town opened fire towards several residents as they were in Sahel Al-Baqa ’area, to the west of the town.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At 15:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub camp and detained 4 residents {including 2 children}.
2. At 21:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Samou' town as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological sites in the area to conduct Talmudic rituals the withdrew at a later time.
3. On the evening of December 29th 2019, Israeli forces raided Halhul town as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Prophet Yunis's Tomb during which they clashed with residents and as a result injured a resident.
4. At dawn on December 30th 2019, Israeli forces raided Tarqumiya, Yatta and Deir Sammit towns, stormed and searched several homes and confiscated a computer in Tarqumiya town.

Detention

1. At 06:45 on December 29th 2019, Israeli forces detained 2 residents{including a child}: Abdul Khalil Muhammad Gawanmeh {16 years old}, and Muhammad Abdul Karim al-Qiq during their raid into Al-Arrub camp {as mentioned in the previous report}.
2. At 10:30, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Arrub camp detained the child Issa Imad Al-Teti {14 years old}.
3. At 11:55, Israeli forces detained Jihad Maher Jinazat {a resident of Al-Arrub camp}.
4. Israeli forces detained detained 4 residents {including 2 children}: Rushdi Salim Rushdi Issa {16 years old}, Omar Zuhdi Mahfouz {16 years old}, Ali Walid Jawabreh, and Mohammad Naif Al-Badawi. near the entrance of Al-Arrub camp.

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of AlArrub camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a a resident.
2. At 16:50, Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al- Zawiya area in Hebron city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a a resident.
3. At 16:50, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Thaher area located in Beit Ummar town and near "Karmi Tsur" settlement fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 3 residents.
4. On the evening of December 29th 2019,Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a a resident during their raid into Halhul town as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed Prophet Yunis's Tomb .

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured Muhanad Mohammad Abdallah Andel-Salam during clashes near the entrance of Arrub camp.
2.Israeli forces injured Baha Raed Muqbal {a resident of Al-Arrub camp} during clashes in Bab Al- Zawiya area in Hebron city.
3.Israeli forces injured 3 unidentified residents during clashes in Beit Ummar town.
4.Israeli forces injured 1 resident during clashes in Halhul town.

Confiscation of Property

At dawn on December 30th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated a computer owned by Ibrahim Jameel Taninat in Tarqumiya town.

Closure of main Roads

At 09:50, Israeli forces closed the entrance to Al-Arrub camp and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 18:15, Israeli forces closed the entrances to the Ibrahim Mosque in the Old City of Hebron also prevented the prayer call of Maghrib and Isha as "Naftali Bint" The Israeli Minister Defense forces stormed the area with several settlers and reopened it at 19:45.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.

Israeli forces injured 1 unidentified resident after opening fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Beit Hanun town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

1. At 07:30 on December 29th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis city.
2. At 07:30 on December 29th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several resiednts near the border fence in east Abbassan town located in east Khan Yunis city.
3. At 08:30 on December 29th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis city.
4.At 18:00 on December 29th 2019,,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
