WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

At 08:00, Israeli forces closed Qalandiya Military checkpoint {after Israeli forces opened fire towards Jihan Mohammad Hamshiya (35 years old) {A resident of Al-Eisawiya village} and as a result left her wounded in the leg} and then reopened it at a later time.

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town then searched residents and vehicles until 14:40.

Raid

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces raided Hizma village, clashed with several residents and as a result injured 10 residents.
2. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Biddu town.

Attack

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya checkpoint opened fire towards Jihan Mohammad Hamshiya (35 years old) {A resident of Al-Eisawiya village} and as a result left her wounded in the leg then detained her.
2. At 10:00, Israeli forced fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 10 residents during their raid into Hizma town.

2. Israeli forces opened fire towards and injured 10 unidentified residents during their raid into Hizma town.

Detention

1. On December 29th 2016, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city detained the child: Ma'moun Khader Al-Dibis (16 years old) {A resident of Shu'fat camp}.
2. On December 29th 2016, Israeli forces detained Abd Iz Barbar in Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
3. Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya checkpoint detained Jihan Mohammad Hamshiya (35 years old) {A resident of Al-Eisawiya village} after injuring her leg.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Detention

On December 29th 2016, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Awwad Mohammad Hamdan {A resident of Silwad town} beneath Yabroud village bridge.

Demonstrations

At 13:20, a demonstration took place in Bil’in village protesting against the construction of the wall during which they clashed with Israeli forces and as a result suffocated several residents from tear gas inhalation.

Attack

At 13:45, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of "Ofra" Military base fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Qabatiya and Muthalath Al-Shuhada' village then searched residents and vehicles until 01:05.

Raid

At 21:35, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town, clashed with several residents for alleged stoning, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 07:30.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ali Mohammad Ali Amarneh and Abdallah Ahmad Harizallah in Ya'bad town.

Attack

At 21:35, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Ya'bad town.

TULKAREM

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Bazariya village junction located in east Anabta town then searched residents and vehicles until 24:00.

QALQILIYA

Demonstrations

At 12:30, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum village against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach the demonstration site and detained 2 residents and temporarily detained Shadi Soliman Ishtewi then released him at a later time.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Jameel Al-Barghouthi {A resident of Deir Abu Mash'al village in Ramallah District} and Ghalib Hilmi Ishtewi {A resident of Kafr Qaddum village} during demonstrations in Kafr Qaddum village.

Temporary Detention

At 12:30, Israeli forces temporarily detained Shadi Soliman Ishtewi during demonstrations in Kafr Qaddum village then released him at a later time.

Attack

At 12:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents during demonstrations in Kafr Qaddum village protesting against the closure of the east entrance and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qaryout village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:45.

Attack

At 15:45, Israeli forces positioned at the west entrance of Beit Furiq town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

At 09:50, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Al-Hamra checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town and summoned Id'is Mohammad Abdel-Hadi Taqatqa to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 03:00.

Detention

At 16:50, Israeli forces detained Abdel-Fattah Khalil Mu'amar {17 years old} {A resident of Betar village} near Betar village

Attack

1. At 12:20, Israeli forces positioned at the west entrance of Teqou' town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 13:00, Israeli forces forced positioned in Ayda camp in Bethlehem city fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Samou' town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 11:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fah's area in south Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 12:55, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints in Al-Duwarat area in Sa'ir town and at the entrance of Beit Einoun village then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 14:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
6. At 15:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 09:40, Israeli forces raided Abu Al-Assja village then stormed and searched a reception hall.
2. At 24:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Kahil town then stormed and searched a home.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.

•Israeli forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards, Gaza and Khan Yunis District.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) is partially open for humanitarian cases, international journalists, employees working for humanitarian agencies, businessmen and passengers traveling though Al-Karama Crossing.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1. At 14:00 on December 30th 2016, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several residents located in the vicinity Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing located in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood in east Gaza city as they were participating in demonstrations protesting the Israeli Military and settler attack on Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. At 18:15 on December 30th 2016, Israeli forces opened fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards agricultural land in east Al-Zaytoun neighborhood located in east Gaza city.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 16:30 on December 30th 2016,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuz'aa town.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
