WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At dawn on December 31st 2018, Israeli forces raided Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. On the morning of December 30th 2018, Israeli forces detained the child Yazan Al-Faroukh {16 years old}{A resident of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city}.
2. At dawn on December 31st 2018, Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Ashraf Awaisat {A resident of Jabal Mukaber}, Yousef Sami Abu Al Hawa, Hashim Abu Al Hawa and Amin Khader Abu Al Hawa (all residents of Al Tur neighborhood) in Jerusalem city.
3. Israeli forces detained Diya Mohammad Ali and Ayman Awadi in Jerusalem city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

Since 11:35 on December 13th 2018, Israeli forces continued its closure of "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city {for the 18th consecutive day} and prevented residents and vehicles from crossing the checkpoint in both directions.

Raid

1. At 13:55, Israeli forces raided Rantis village.
2. At 00:55, Israeli forces raided Deir Intham village.
3. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities, Bir Ziet and Arrura towns and Kafr Malik village, detained 2 residents from Al-Bireh city and confiscated a computer and 7000 NIS from the home of Alaa Al-Rimawi {A journalist} in Ramallah city.
4. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Rima town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched a home.
5. At 03:30,Israeli forces raided Kobar town and detained 11 residents.
6. At 06:40, Israeli forces raided Silwad town and detained 2 residents.
7. At dawn on December 31st 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya town and detained a resident.
8. At dawn on December 31st 2018, Israeli forces raided Ras Kar Kar village and detained a resident.
9.At dawn on December 31st 2018, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ni'ma village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Abdallah Abu Shalbak and Mahmoud Al-Khufash in Al-Bireh city.
2. Israeli forces detained 11 residents: Zahi Ismail Barghouthi, Isma'il Zahi Barghouthi, Muqdad Zahi Barghouthi, Jawdat Ahmed Meshaal Barghouthi, Mohammed Ahmed Mishal Barghouthi, Muhannad Adnan Barghouthi, Nasrallah Ahmed Mishal Barghouthi, Yasser Omar Al-Fahal, Nael Omar Al-Fahal, Abd Allah Khaldoun Barghouti and Omar Ibrahim Hassan Barghouthi in Kobar town.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Saed Hamed and Riyad Hamed in Silwad town.
4. Israeli forces detained Ashraf Sa'ed in Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya town.
5. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Mohammad Abu Fakhidat in Ras Kar Kar village.
6. Israeli forces detained Jaber Mamdouh Jaber Obadat in Kafr Ni'ma village.

Attack

At 02:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Beit Rima town.

Confiscation of Property

At 02:00, Israeli forces confiscated a computer and 7000 NIS from the home of Alaa Al-Rimawi {A journalist} during their raid into Ramallah city.

Closure of main Roads

At 03:30, Israeli forces closed the main road connecting Kobar town and Burhan village with dirt mounds.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 14:45, Israeli forces raided Kafr Dan, Zubaba, Abba, Deir Dayef and Beit Qad villages.
2. At 21:35, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 22:05.
3. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Jenin city, Al-Sila Al-Harthiya and Al-Yamoun towns, Zubaba, Ti'inik, Kafr Dan and Annin villages.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Osama Khalil Omran and Mohammad Jihad Abu Bakir in Ya'bad towns.

NABLUS

At 05:50, Israeli forces closed Huwara military checkpoint, impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at 07:30.

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jama'in town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Nablus and Assira Al-Shamaliya town then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces raided Ijnisiya village until 09:00.
2. At 08:00, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya and Deir Sharaf villages and clashed with several residents in Sabastiya village
3. At 19:30, Israeli forces raided Tel and Iraq Burin villages until 21:50.
4. At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 04:10.

1. At 08:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Nihalin village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahour city} then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.

1. At 12:20, Israeli forces raided Um Rakaba area located in Al-Khader town until 17:15.
2. At 13:05, Israeli forces raided Beit Jallah city until 13:45.

Detention

On December 30th 2018, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Mohammad Shakarnat {15 years old} near Nihalin village school.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At 10:55, Israeli forces raided Hebron city until 14:45.
2. At 02:05, Israeli forces raided Khursat village until 02:25.

Detention

At 20:10, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Mahmoud Al-Najjar {A Palestinian Police officer}{A resident of Yatta town} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 12:25 on December 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Gaza city.

At 00:20 on December 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Deir Al-Balah city.

KHAN YUNIS

1. At 11:30 on December 29th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 20:30 on December 30th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Abbassan town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
