WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

At 21:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Jaba' Military checkpoint which connects Jerusalem, Ramallah and Jericho districts thus impeding the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town tunnel then searched residents and vehicles until 17:00.

Raid

1. At 11:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town then stormed and searched a Gas Station.

Detention

1. At 11:20, Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Hisham Al-Natsheh near Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. At 19:00, Israeli forces detained Khalid Abu Isbitan {14 years old}{A resident of Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city}.
3. At 19:30, Israeli forces detained 3 children: Mohammad Hani Al-Haymouni {12 years old}, Khalid Fawaz Qabalin {14 years old} and Abdallah Al-Abbassi {13 years old}.

Temporary Detention

On the morning of December 4th 2017, Israeli forces positioned near Bab Al-Absat gate in the old city of Jerusalem temporarily detained 4 residents: Lu'ai Tayseer Abu al-Sa'id (released after being subjected to house arrest for 15 days in addition to a bail of 5,000 NIS as a condition for his release), Ahmed Jamal Abu Alia, Qassim Kamal and Fadi Abu Jazar then released them at a later time.

Attack

At 19:00,Israeli forces positioned near the entrance Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:00 and again at 16:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Taybeh town junction {located along Al-Mu'arajat road which connects Ramallah and Jericho districts} then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 22:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp and detained a resident.

Raid

1. At 19:20, Israeli forces raided Deir Nathim village, detained a child then withdrew at 19:30.
2. At dawn on December 5th 2017, Israeli forces raided Buddrous village then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

1. On December 4th 2017, Israeli forces positioned at a Military checkpoint in Ramallah & Al-Bireh district detained Ahmad Yusef Ibrahim Al-Haroub {A resident of Deir Sammit village in Hebron district}.
2. Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Jalazoun camp detained Ahmad Mahmoud Damarat {A resident of Mazari' Al-Nubani village}.
3. Israeli forces detained Na'im Abdel-Hafith Muth'hir {15 years old} in Deir Nathim village.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 07:45 on December 5th 2017, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Arraba town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces raided Kafr Dan village and clashed with several residents.
2. At 06:20, Israeli forces raided Jalqamous village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At dawn on December 4th 2017, Israeli forces detained Omar Ahmad Ali Bolbol during their raid into Jenin city.
2. Israeli forces detained Muti' Jamil Al-Haj in Jalqamus village.

Attack

At 18:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Kafr Dan village.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 18:45, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 05:30.

Raid

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces raided Aqaba town until 11:00.
2. At 18:25, Israeli forces raided Bardala village.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun town and Asalah village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces raided Sinariya village, summoned several residents to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning then withdrew at 14:30.
2. At 13:20, Israeli forces raided Wadi Al-Rasha village until 14:30.

Detention

At 00:30 on December 4th 2017, Israeli forces detained Bashar Amin Abdel-Rahim Daud Al-Ju'idi during their raid into Qalqiliya city.

Attack

At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Azzun town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Muraba'a area located near the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles until 24:00.

Raid

1. At 11:50, Israeli forces raided Qusra town, clashed with several residents and as a result injured 6 residents then withdrew at 17:00.
2. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Burqa and Sabastiya villages and detained 2 residents in Burqa village.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ameer Amin Daghlas and Ahmad Eyad Abu Amr in Burqa village.

Attack

At 11:50, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Qusra town and as a result injured 6 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 6 residents including: Ahmad Fayiz Fathi Hassan and Ibrahim Yusef Fayez Hassan in Qusra town.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

At dawn on December 4th 2017, Israeli forces raided Harmala village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces positioned at Military checkpoint {300} located in North Bethlehem city detained Aminah Odah Hussien Mahmoud {A resident of Abu Dis town in Jerusalem city}.
2. Israeli forces detained Mustafa Issa Al-Arrouj in Harmakah village.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp then searched resiednts and vehicles.
2. At 11:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Zif village junction then searched resiednts and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 06:50 on December 5th 2017, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town then stormed and searched 2 homes.
2. At dawn on December 5th 2017, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed several homes.

Closure of main Roads

At 21:50, Israeli forces closed the North entrance of Yatta town, prevented residents from entering then reopened it at 22:30.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles .

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza district.
•The Israeli Navy broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Gaza districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 08:00 on December 4th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 19:30 on December 4th 2017 Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
3.At 22:30 on December 4th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
4.At 06:30 on December 5th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1. At 08:45 on December 4th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Zaytuna neighborhood located in south east Gaza city.
2.At 20:30 on December 4th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Gaza city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
