Demonstrations

• On December 6th 2017,Mass rallies were launched in all cities and towns in all districts, rejecting the decision of the American president to declare Jerusalem as the "capital of the occupying state" and the transfer of the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to occupied Jerusalem. The participants in the marches stressed that the decision will not change the situation Which is protected by international resolutions and laws as an occupied Palestinian city, and that Jerusalem is the capital of the Palestinian people and its independent state.
• On December 7th 2017, a mass strikes were held in all districts protesting and rejecting the decision of the American president to declare Jerusalem as the "capital of the occupying state" and the transfer of the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to occupied Jerusalem.

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. At 05:20 on December 6th 2017, Israeli forces detained the child :Hamad Adel Abu Al-Hool {14 years old} for alleged stoning.
2. At dawn on December 7th 2017, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ayad Samih Bashir and Ra'ed Salah Al-Laslahut after storming their homes in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Attack

1. At 16:45, Israeli forces positioned in Ras Kabsah area in Al-Eizariya town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning in the old city of Jerusalem.
3. At 23:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning in Abu Dis town.
4. At 23:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning in Al-Eisawiya village.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1.At 08:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles until 09:00.
2. At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Ras Kar Kar and Al-Janiyah villages then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:45, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the entrances of Deir Ibzi' village and Ein Ayuob area then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 20:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city.
2. At 04:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 04:20.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Maher Dalaysha, Jihad Nidal Alian, and Atta Omar Osman Nakhla in Al-Jalazoun camp.

Attack

At 22:40, Israeli forces positioned at "Al-Makhama" Military checkpoint located near Bet El settlement in North Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

JENIN

Raid

At 16:20 and again at 02:10, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town, detained 4 residents {including a child} then withdrew at 06:20.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Abdullah Haraz Allah, Muhammad Jihad Hilmi Abu Bakr, Ahmed Abdul Hakim Abu Bakr {15 years old}, and Ashraf Mohammed Abu Bakr in Ya'bad town.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 08:00 on December 6th 2017, the Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at Tayassir Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Detention

On December 6th 2017, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Nasser Abu Khdeir {A resident of Tubas city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.

QALQILIYA

Raid

At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Kafr Thulth town.

Attack

At 01:10, Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city and at "Ayal" crossing point located along the Green Line in North Qalqiliya city fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents as they were participating in demonstrations rejecting the decision of the American president to declare Jerusalem as the "capital of the occupying state" and the transfer of the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to occupied Jerusalem.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qusra town and detained a resident.

Raid

At 23:10, Israeli forces raided Qusra town, stormed and searched several homes, detained 21 residents then withdrew at 03:10.

Detention

1. Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint near the entrance of Qusra town detained Mohammad Nasser Ribhi Hassan.
2. Israeli forces detained 21 residents: Mohamed Shaheer Sama, Yazen Mohammed Shaker Samara, Rihi Ayman Aqla Hamdah, Rihi Ayman Aqla Hamdah, Yazen Muhammed Shaker Samara , Murad Mohammed Shaker Samara, Akram Tayseer Dawood Odeh, Mohammad Ibrahim Ahmad Wadi, Ramzi Ahmed Fathi Hassan, Rami Yousef Faiz Hassan, Yazen Rami Yousef Hassan, Qusay Mahmoud Abdel Rahman Abu Reda, Senior Sharif Abdel Aziz Odeh, Allan Sayel Ribhi Hassan,Mohammad Aqla Hassan and Fouad Yusuf Hassan in Qusra town.

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Kafil Harris town then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

At 08:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Al-Hamra Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 09:20.

1.At 21:10 and again at 23:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:25,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area located at the entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 23:45.

Raid

1. At 12:10, Israeli forces raided Beit Jallah city until 16:30.
2. At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Ubidiya town until 03:15.
3. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town, detained a resident then withdrew at 03:15.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Jihad Taqatqa in Beit Fajjar town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Dura town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

On December 6th 2017, Israeli forces raided Ithna town, served a military order halting construction on 2 buildings and a live stock den for allegedly being built with out a licence because of its location on Area C which is under Israeli Military and Administrative control.

Attack

1. At 08:00, Israeli forces positioned in Jaroun Jarrad area locate din the old city of Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 08:55, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Arrub camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 21:45, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Beit Ummar town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles .

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 15:30 on December 5th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition and launched stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Farahin area.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
