WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 07:30 on December 8th 2019, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Qalandiya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles until 09:10.
2. At 15:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town en searched residents and vehicles until 16:00.

Raid

1. At 10:00 and again at 21:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town and clashed with several residents.
2. At 22:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village.

Attack

At 21:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Ram town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

Settlers Attacks

At dawn on December 9th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Shu'fat neighborhood in Jerusalem city and slashed the tires of 186 vehicles and spray painted racist graffiti on the vehicle doors.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:00,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Tayba town junction {located along Al-Mu'arajat road which connects Jericho and Ramallah districts} then searched residents and vehicles until 14:40.

Raid

1. At 12:45, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ni'ma village.
2. At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched 2 homes, detained a resident, confiscated a vehicle then withdrew at 06:30.
3. At 04:00,Israeli forces raided Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities and Bir Ziet town, clashed with several residents in Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities as they stormed and searched a building and as a result injured 3 resiednts in Al-Bireh city.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Abdallah Abu Ibrahim in Beituniya town.

Attack

1. At 04:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed 2 homes during their raid into Beituniya town.
2. At 04:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed a building in Al-Bireh city and as a result injured 3 residents.
3. At dawn on December 9th 2019, Israeli forces positioned near Surda village junction fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 unidentified residents during clashes in Al-Bireh city.

Confiscation of Property

At 04:00, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Saed Mohammad Abu Al-Baha during their raid into Beituniya town.

JENIN

Raid

At dawn on December 9th 2019, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Abdel-Ra'uf Najah Kameel in Qabatiya town.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 12:45,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Enav military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 13:55.

Raid

At 03:55, Israeli forces raided Sayda village then stormed and searched a home.

Settlers Attacks

At 14:40, a group of Israeli settlers positioned on a plot of land in Kafat village announced to Jamal Hamad that they own the land and he has no right to work on the land then withdrew at a later time.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 03:10, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city until 05:15.

Settlers Attacks

At 08:20, a bulldozer operated by Israeli settlers near "Karni Shamron" settlement leveled 27 dunums of agricultural land in Kafr Laqif village located near the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Nablus during which local residents were able to halt the leveling and forces the settlers to leave the area.

SALFIT

At 10:55,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Enav military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Detention

At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara junction military checkpoint detained Mu'tasim Sami Talib Al-Silwadi {a University student}{a resident of Tel village in Nablus district}.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 14:40.

Raid

At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Jericho city, clashed with several residents as they stormed several homes then withdrew at 03:15.

Attack

At 01:55, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Jericho city.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:05,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 13:55.

Raid

At 14:15, Israeli forces raided Husan village, stormed several merchant shops and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 18:10, Israeli forces detained Foad Hassan Shufat {a resident of Husan village}.
2. Israeli forces detained Iz Abdel-Hay Abdel-Qadder Shufat in Husan village.

HEBRON

Military Checkpoints

At 18:45, Israeli forces closed Abu Al-Rish Military checkpoint located in the old city of Hebron and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Yatta town then searched residents and vehicles until 11:30.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At dawn on December 8th 2019, Israeli forces raided Qalqas village and detained a resident.
2. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Beit Kahil town, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 05:00.
3. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed and searched 2 homes.
4. At 06:00,Israeli forces raided Dura town and detained a resident.
5. At dawn on December 9th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub camp and detained a journalist.

Detention

1. At 08:35, Israeli forces positioned at Abu Al-Rish Military checkpoint located in the old city of Hebron detained the child: Afnan Adel Abu Sineneh {17 years old} for allegedly carrying a knife.
2. Israeli forces detained Majd Mohammad Al-Sabah in Qalqas village.
3. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Sami Soliman Al-Atawnat, Ahmad Nael Assafrat and Abdel-Fattah Anwar Atwanat in Beit Kahil town.
4.Israeli forces detained Ali Talib Al-Haroub in Dura town.
5. Israeli forces detained Sameh Jaber Ali Al-Teti {a journalist} in Al-Arrub camp.

Temporary Detention

At 18:45,Israeli forces positioned at Abu Al-Rish Military checkpoint located in the old city of Hebron temporarily detained Mohammad Ismail Badr Irshid {13 years old}{a resident of Hebron city} for allegedly carrying a knife then released him at 21:55.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
