DAILY SITUATION REPORT

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 19:00, Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Al-Issawiya, where clashes took place with the citizens while they were on patrol.

Attack

1. At 19:00, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several citizens for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Issawiya village
2. At 22:00, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several citizens for alleged stoning in the Al-Tour neighborhood of Jerusalem.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

On the morning of 05/02/2021, the Israeli Occupation Police stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and wandered around its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Beitlo village, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

At 10:00, Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Ras Karkar, stormed and searched the family home of Khaled Maher Nofal (who was shot dead by a settler in Jabal Al-Risan area near the village of Ras Karkar).

Attack

1. At 12:45, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas towards demonstrators near the village of Kafr Malik and as a result wounded a child leaving him hospitalized.
2. At 16:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the Deir Jarir village junction, fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards several citizens for alleged stoning.
3. At 19:25, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas towards several citizens for alleged stoning near the western entrance to Silwad and as a result wounded 2 civilians.

Injuries

1. The wounded person during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces near the village of Kafr Malik is: Wissam Yusef Akl, 17 years old.
2. The two wounded during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces near the western entrance to the town of Silwad are: Atta Issa Ata Sharaka, and Hani Mahmoud Ghawanmeh - (both of them are residents of Jalazoun camp).

Settlers Attacks

At 08:00, a settler positioned in the Jabal al-Rayan area, on which the "Saddeh Ephraim" outpost was established located near the village of Ras Karkar, opened fire towards and killed a citizen.

Killings

JENIN

Raid

On the morning of 05/02/2021, Israeli occupation forces raided the villages of Tura and Nazlet Zaid, and fired stun grenades at citizens homes in the area.

Attack

On the morning of 05/02/2021, the Israeli occupation forces forces fired stun grenades towards citizens' homes for alleged stoning during their raid into the villages of Tora and Nazlet Zaid.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 20:25, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at Tayasir checkpoint, and obstructed traffic until 21:35.

QALQILIYA

Attack

1. At 12:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the eastern (closed) entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddum fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas towards demonstrators in protest against the closure of the village entrance for alleged stoning and as a result left several citizens suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.
2. At 21:40,the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of the "Eyal" crossing, located north of Qalqilya, fired stun grenades and tear gas towards several citizens for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 17:05, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at Huwara checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

Raid

At dawn on 06/02/2021, Israeli occupation forces raided the eastern neighborhoods of Nablus city then stormed and searched a number of homes.

Detention

At 18:10, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the Beit Furik checkpoint detained 2 citizens (including a child):Abd al-Karim Jasser Nimer Issa, 15, and Issam Hussam Suleiman Salah - both are residents of Balata camp in Nablus

Attack

1. At 11:50, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against the confiscation of land for settlement projects in the village of Beit Dajan and as a result left several citizens suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 14:05, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens while they confronted a group of settlers in the ancient Al-Khan area in the village and as a result 2 citizens.

Injuries

The two wounded citizens during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in the Eastern Laban village, are: Rashad Jamal Ismail Daraghmeh and Salah Majed Samih Daraghmeh.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Deir Ballut, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 18:00.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at Hamra checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to Jericho, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 19:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Jericho, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Tuqu ', to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 14:30.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on Wadi Seir Road, to search cars and verify citizens' identities

Attack

At 21:55, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in front of Al-Aroub camp, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several citizens at the entrance to the camp for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the cease-fire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line towards Khan Yunis and Rafah governorates, and Israeli gunboats opening fire towards fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea in the North Gaza Governorate.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": On 05/02/2021, it is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).

Attack

1. At 10:00 on 05/02/2021, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the Al-Sudania beach, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
2. At 13:00 on 05/02/2021, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the Al-Sudania beach, west of Beit Lahia.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 09:15 on 05/02/2021, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Abasan town, east of Khan Yunis.
2. At 09:15 on 05/02/2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Al-Qarara town, northeast of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sufa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - "Kerem Shalom": On 05/02 2021is closed (due to the Friday holiday).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 05/02 2021 is closed.

Attack

At 09:00 on 05/02/2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands in the vicinity of Sufa crossing, northeast of Rafah.
