On February 6th 2020, demonstrations took place for the second consecutive day in all districts in the West Bank and Gaza strip rejecting The United States of America's presidents announcement of the "Deal of the Century" which aims to settle the Palestinian issue, and the participants in the marches and events confirmed their support of President Mahmoud Abbas and Palestinian leaderships demand for the implementation of the International resolutions to safeguarding the rights of the Palestinian people on their land and establishing an independent and fully sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital within the borders of June 4, 1967.

JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

At 12:30, the Israeli occupation forces closed Qalandia, Hazmah, and Shuafat checkpoints in the city of Jerusalem, in front of traffic {on the pretext that it came under fire in the Bab Al-Asbat area (one of the gates leading to the Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem, and that they killed the shooter who was a resident of the city of Haifa} , In front of traffic, and reopened it later.

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Eizariya town, to search cars and verify citizens ’identities.

1. At 18:30, the occupation forces arrested the citizen: Sanad Khaled Turman - residents of Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem (the occupation forces accused him of running over 12 soldiers - as mentioned in the previous report).

Temporary Detention

5. At 21:50, during the storming of Al-Issawiya village, the Israeli occupation forces fired tear gas and tear gas canisters at the citizens, on the pretext that they were throwing stones.
6. At 23:10, Israeli forces in the Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood of Jerusalem fired rubber-coated metal bullets and sound and tear gas canisters towards the protesting citizens, on the pretext that they were throwing stones.

On the evening of 06. 02. 2020, the occupation forces stormed the Bishop School Hall in Jerusalem, and suspended a decision to prevent the signing of the strategic partnership memorandum between the Jerusalem Endowment Fund and the YMCA, and forced the participants in the ceremony to leave the hall, and also called for the investigation of 3 citizens: Bishop - Atallah Hanna, Rasim Obeidat (specialist in Jerusalem affairs, and Simon Cuba (Chairman of the YMCA in Jerusalem).

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

At 14:40, the Israeli occupation forces closed the "Al-Mahkama" checkpoint, located near the Beit El settlement, north of Al-Bireh, in front of traffic until 15:15.

Closure of main Roads

1. At 15:40, the occupying forces closed the entrance to ras Karkar village and the al-Jana'a village junction (under the pretext of being shot near the village of Al-Jana') to the traffic, and later reopened them.

On 06. 02. 2020, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a concrete wall near the village of Al-Hijra near a 12-donum area of land, along Beersheba Street, owned by a member of the Al-Kabbaji family, on the pretext of not licensing.

Settlers Attacks

GAZA STRIP
