Daily Report February 16, 2017

1. At dawn on February 15th 2017 and again at dawn on February 16th 2017 , Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 7 residents.
2. At 11:00, Israeli forces raided Hizma town, demolished 2 homes {one of which is under construction} and a storage room owned by Abdel-Azziz Al-Khatib {Owner of a home}, Jaber Akrama Othaman Hassan {Owner of the home under construction} and Abdallah Al-Khatib { owner of the storage room} during which Israeli forces clashed with several residents and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
3. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town until 04:00.

1. At dawn on February 15th 2017, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Al-Ghafari near Bab Hata gate in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. Israeli forces detained 7 residents: Muhanad Abu Assab, Mahmoud Mustafa, Yunis Abu Al-Humus, Khalil Nasser, Midhat Ibrahim Obied, Ahmad Jamal Atiyah Mahmoud and Mansour Mohammad Mahmoud in Al-Eisawiya village.

At 11:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they demolished 2 homes {one of which is under construction} and a storage room owned by Abdel-Azziz Al-Khatib {Owner of a home}, Jaber Akrama Othaman Hassan {Owner of the home under construction} and Abdallah Al-Khatib { owner of the storage room} during their raid into Hizma town and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 18:55, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Ram town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

At 11:00, Israeli forces demolished 2 homes {one of which is under construction} and a storage room owned by Abdel-Azziz Al-Khatib {Owner of a home}, Jaber Akrama Othaman Hassan {Owner of the home under construction} and Abdallah Al-Khatib { owner of the storage room} during their raid into Hizma town.

At 08:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Baqa Al-Sharqiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At dawn on February 15th 2017, Israeli forces raided Shwikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on February 15th 2017, Israeli forces raided Izbit Shufah village and detained a resident.

At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jit village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 11:00.

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city, clashed with several residents and as a result suffocated 3 residents {including 2 children}: Ayah Zied {11 years old}, Sawsan Halali {12 years old} and Mariyam Khadraj from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 04:00.

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Yahya Hamza Hussien, Anas Badwan and Hiba Musa Al-Khouli in Azzun town.

At 14:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 15:50.

At dawn on February 16th 2017, Israeli forces raided Beita town and detained a resident.

1. At 17:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Betar village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village { located at the east entrance of Beit Sahur city} then searched residents and vehicles until 22:15.
3. At 20:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinnata town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:15.

At 07:40 on February 15th 2017 and again at 19:30, Israeli forces raided Husan village, clashed with several resident as they stormed and searched several homes then detained 2 residents {including a child} and withdrew at 20:00

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Ibrahim Hamamrah {17 years old} and Mohammad Yasser Ahmad Hamamrah during their raid into Husan village.

1. At 10:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Farsh Al-Hawa area located in North Hebron city {near bypass road 35}
2. At 18:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At dawn on February 15th 2017, Israeli forces positioned in the old city of Hebron detained 2 residents: Usayed Hashim Yunis Hashlamoun and Nael Abdel-Ma'ati Al-Fakhouri.
2. At dawn on February 15th 2017, Israeli forces detained Hamam Wisam Mohammad Hantash during their raid into Wadi Al-Shajnah village {in addition to those mentioned in the previous report}.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.
