WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At dawn on February 16th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 2 residents after storming their homes.

Detention

1. At 15:00, Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Amer al-Tawil, his wife Yusri al-Tawil and their son, Montaser Amer al-Tawil after storming and searching their home in Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem city and confiscated the contents of their house.
2. At 16:40, Israeli forces positioned at Jaba' military checkpoint detained Mujahid Ismail Suleiman Salah {A residents of the village of Dar Salah in Bethlehem district}.
3. At 00:30, Israeli forces detained Obada Najeeb in the old city of Jerusalem.
4. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ahmed Mohamed Hussein Derbas and Mohamed Hussein Obeid in Al-Eisawiya village.

Deportation

On February 15th 2018, Israeli forces in Jerusalem city Issued a Military order to ban Mohammad Tayniya {A Security Guard at Al-Aqsa mosque compound} from his place of work at Al-Aqsa mosque compound after detaining while on duty at the compound.

Confiscation of Property

At 15:00,Israeli forces confiscated house furniture owned by Amer al-Tawil while detaining him and his family as they stormed his home in Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ein Yabrud village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 00:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At dawn on February 15th 2018, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ni'meh village and temporarily detained a child.
2. At 10:25, Israeli forces raided Burqa village.

Detention

At 04:20 on February 15th 2018, Israeli forces detained Hamam Nouh Atta during their raid into Deir Abu Mash'al village {in addition to those mentioned in the previous report}.

Temporary Detention

At dawn on February 15th 2018, Israeli forces temporarily detained the child: Fadi Mohammad Jabran Ishtaya {15 years old}during their raid into Kafr Ni'meh village then released him at a later time.

Attack

1. At 13:15, Israeli forces positioned at "Pesagot" settlement locate in east Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 15:50, Israeli forces positioned near "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint near Bet El settlement located in North Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 16:20, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

JENIN

Raid

At 08:00,Israeli forces raided Ya'bad and Araba towns and Kafrit, Kafr Qud and B'ir Al-Basha villages.

Settlers Attacks

At 23:00, Israeli settlers raided the area of "Homish" settlement which was abandoned and assaulted the child Eyad Abdel-Rahman Salama {16 years old}{A resident of Al-Fanduqumiya village} as he was near the settlement and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

TUBAS

Raid

At 07:30 on February 15th 2018, Israeli forces raided Tayasir village then stormed and searched 2 homes.

TULKAREM

Raid

1. At 09:25, Israeli forces raided Beit Lid town , Far'oun and Kafr Sur villages until 13:30.
2. At 15:45, Israeli forces raided Safarin village.

Land Confiscation

On February 15th 2018, Israeli forces issued a military order for the confiscation of a plot of land located Quffin which is owned by Ahmad Ibrahim Soliman Katana.

NABLUS

Raid

1. At 09:35, Israeli forces raided Beita town, Beit Wazan and Zuwata villages until 10:30.
2. At 15:20, Israeli forces raided Huwara town, detained a resident from inside a merchant shop and confiscated surveillance Camera footage from KFC {Kentucky Fried Chicken} restaurant.
3. At 02:55, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, clashed with several residents and as a result injured 7 residents {including 3 children} and left 18 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation then detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Bassam Nadim Nour Al-Din Al-Aqer {A resident of Nablus city}.
2. Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Ma'moun Hamamat in Nablus city.

Attack

At 02:55, Israeli forces fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed several homes and as a result injured 7 residents {including 3 children} and left 18 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 7 residents including: Mustafa Yahya Abdel Rahim Mabrouka {15 years old}, Mahmoud Mohammed Reza Sabti {17 years old}, Ahmed Jamal Helmi Kalbouna {17 years old}, and Issa Nazmi Mahmoud Hashash during confrontations in Nablus city.

Confiscation of Property

At 15:20, Israeli forces confiscated surveillance Camera footage from KFC {Kentucky Fried Chicken} restaurant during their raid into Huwara town.

Settlers Attacks

At dawn on February 15th 2018, Israeli settlers stormed Yatma village and punctured the tires of 4 vehicles owned by Abdullah Mohammed Faeq, Hisham Ahmed Abdel Fattah, Walid Fawzi Salah, and Odah Walid Sinubar then spray painted racist graffiti on the vehicles.

SALFIT

Detention

At 23:50, Israeli forces positioned along the bypass road in Kafr Qaddum town detained 4 residents {including a Palestinian Police force officer}:Ziad Hosni Yousif Ali Ahmed{Police officer}, Hisham Jihad Mohamed Mzayed, Ahmed Essam Ali Ahmed, and Magdi Ammar Hosni Ali Ahmed.

Attack

At 15:30, Israeli forces positioned at the North entrance of Salfit city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 10:30.

Detention

At 16:50, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Hamra Military checkpoint detained Mohammad Hytham Rashad Daraghma {A resident of Tubas city}.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

On February 14th 2018, The Israeli military moved checkpoint located at the North entrance of Al-Waljat village and began leveling land in Araq Al-Sawadin located 1.5 KM from Al-Waljat village which will be transferred to the new military checkpoint.

Raid

1. At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Harmala village and detained 2 residents.
2. At 22:45, Israeli forces raided Um Salmuna village and served military orders for the demolition of 2 homes owned by Majed Hussein Mousa Tqatqa, and Muhammad Hussein Musa Tqaqqa for allegedly being built with out a licence.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Yahya Wajih Mohammed Al-Zair and Ahmed Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Zair in Harmala village.

Attack

At 12:40, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Khader town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children for alleged stoning.

Closure of main Roads

On February 15th 2018, Israeli forces closed the steel gate entrance in east Marah Rabah village and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Settlement Activities

On February 15th 2018, The Israeli government approved the construction of a settlement road extending from the tunnel area in the town of Beit Jala to the West Bank, to the settlement of El-Eliezer on residential owned land in the town of Al-Khader in the south. It also approved the establishment of 67 housing units New settlement in the areas of Khilet Thaher Al-Ain and In Al-Assafeer located in Al-Khader town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Einun village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 07:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 10:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Rayha and Beit Amra villages then stormed and searched a home in Al-Rayha village and withdrew at 12:40.
2. At 00:25, Israeli raided Tarqumiya and Beit Awwa towns until 04:40.

Detention

1. At 01:10 on February 15th 2018, Israeli forces detained Maher Khalil Al-Jundi during their raid into Yatta town.
2. At 17:10, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron detained Issa Amer.

Temporary Detention

On February 15th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at Abu Al-Rish checkpoint located near temporarily detained Sana Hakeem Al-Atrash then released her after questioning by Israeli Intelligence officers.

Attack

At 13:30, Israeli forces positioned at Abu Al-Rish military checkpoint near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children for alleged stoning and as a result left several of them suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis district.
•Israeli Naval vessels broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza District.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 07:45 on February 15th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 08:30 on February 15th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Qarara town.
2. At 09:45 on February 15th 2018, Israeli forces , Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuz'a town.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
