WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At dawn 17/02/2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Kafr Aqab, and detained 2 citizens.

Detention

1. At dawn on 16/02 2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Iyad Ahmed Muhammad Atoun - a resident of Sur Baher village.
2. At 19:45, the Israeli occupation forces detained the child: Ali Orabi, 16 years old - a resident of Al-Tur neighborhood.
3. On 02/16/2021, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at Hizma checkpoint, located in the northeastern city of Jerusalem, detained citizen: Rami Salah - a resident of Jerusalem.
4. On the evening of 02/16/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained 3 citizens:Ali Muhaisen Al-Kiswani, Adnan Al-Hadrah, and Khalil Rabiah in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem.
5. At 05:00 on 17/02/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained: Adam Sami Abu Al-Hawa, in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem.
6. The two detainees in the town of Kafr Aqab are: Ahmed Mustafa Abu Ramz and Ahmed Maher Mutair.

House Demolition

At 10:00, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a 90-square-meter house in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem, under the pretext of not having a permit, owned by a citizen: Jihad Hassan Abu Ramz.

Destruction of Property

1. At 10:00, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a wall and building foundations in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem, under the pretext of not having a permit belonging to a citizen.
2. At 15:45, the Israeli occupation forces removed barbed wire in Jabal Al Mukaber neighborhood in Jerusalem city, from the perimeter of a plot of land, under the pretext of not having a permit, owned by a citizen of the Talab family.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the Israeli police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Atara town bridge, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

At 13:55, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Al-Bireh, where clashes took place with the citizens, and detained a citizen.

Detention

The detainee in the city of Al-Bireh is: Fadi Ahmad Abu Al-Rub.

Attack

At 13:55, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several citizens for alleged stoning during their raid into city of Al-Bireh.

Settlers Attacks

On 02/16/2021, a group of settlers attacked the vehicles of the workers working in the settlement of Shilo and as a result damaged vehicles parked in the area and as a result damaged the tires and shattered their windows.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 12:40, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at Tayasir checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

Detention

At 20:25, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the Tayasir checkpoint detained citizen: Iyad Rashid Muhammad Daraghmeh - a resident of Tubas.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 17:10, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the "Ainaf" checkpoint, and obstructed traffic until 17:40.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to Qalqilya, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 10:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a roadblock at the junction of Jeet village, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

1. At 10:15, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at Beit Furik checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.
2. At 15:30, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at Huwara checkpoint, and obstructed traffic.

Raid

On the morning of 02/16/2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided Sebastia village while escorting a group of settlers as they were visiting the archaeological area in the village.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 10:15, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Zaatarah Junction checkpoint, and blocked traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 22:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Deir Istiya, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Settlers Attacks

On the evening of 02/16/2021, the Israeli occupation forces assaulted the citizen: Ayman Abu Safiya in Khallet Hassan located west of Badia town while he was plowing his land, and threatened him in an attempt to prevent him from continuing to cultivate and plow his land, and withdrew later.

JERICHO

Detention

At 13:00, the Israeli occupation forces arrested the citizen: Ahmed Muhammad Salem Jahalin - a resident of Al-Jiftlik village.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Al-Nashash area junction (the southern entrance to Bethlehem), to search cars and check citizens' identities until 10:50.

Raid

At 00:15, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Janata, stormed and searched 8 homes, resulting in the death of a female citizen, as a result of her heart attack due to intense fear and panic as they stormed and search of her brother's house then withdrew at 04:10.

Detention

At 21:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at military checkpoint "300" located in north of Bethlehem detained the citizen: Akram Omran Al-Atrash - a resident of Dheisheh camp in Bethlehem, while he was returning from his workplace.

Killings

Rahma Khalil Abu Aahour {67 years old} died of a severe heart attack due to the state of intense fear and panic after Israeli occupation forces' stormed her brother's house in the town of Jannatah.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Halhul town bridge, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 16:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a roadblock at the entrance to Al-Arroub camp, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by storming our areas in Gaza governorate, and by firing from their positions on the Green Line towards Khan Yunis Governorate, and by Israeli gunboats firing at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea in the North Gaza Governorate.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": on 16/02/2021, is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).

Attack

At 08:00 on 16/02/2021, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the Al-Sudania beach, west of Beit Lahia.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

Raid

At 09:00 on 16/02/2021, several vehicles, bulldozers and a cover of reconnaissance aircraft raided 50 meters into east of Gaza City, and carried out digging and bulldozing work, and withdrew at 15:00.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 09:15 on 16/02 2021, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Abasan town, east of Khan Yunis.
2. At 09:15 on 16/02 2021, the Israeli occupation forces opened fire from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Al-Qarara town, northeast of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sufa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 16/02/2021, is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods, building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 16/02/2021, is open in both directions (for entry and departure of citizens).
