DAILY SITUATION REPORT

 08:00, 18th  February  2021 -08:00, 19th February  2021

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Attack

1. At 15:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned on the southern side of Al-Issawiya town fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning and as a result wounded 3 civilians, and detained a citizen.
2. At 16:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Al-Eizariya town fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stonig.

Detention

1. At 08:30, the Israeli occupation forces detained 4 citizens: Tariq Al-Basiti, Ibrahim Al-Zaghal, Anas Jaber, and Musa Hamdan. in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
2. At 16:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained Ahmed Sami Abu Senan, 16 years old, in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem.
3. At 19:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens: Sufyan Abu Al-Hawa and Ahmed Qabaja. in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem.
4. The detainee on the southern side of the village of Al-Issawiya is: Mahmoud Saeed Ubaid.

Injuries

3 unidentified citizens were wounded during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces on the southern side of the town of Al-Issawiya

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Sinjil town, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 22:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Atara town bridge, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 23:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint between the villages of Ras Karkar and Deir Bzeih, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

At 13:00, Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Deir Nizam, and patrolled until 13:35.

Settlers Attacks

At 17:30, a group of settlers entered the Kassara area, near the village of Ein Samia, and set fire to the vehicle owned by Iyad Abu Sheikha - residents of the eastern town of Al Mazra'a who owns a stone mill in the area.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 16:00, Israeli occupation forces raided Jaba town and conducted a patrol.
2. At 03:20, Israeli occupation forces raided Jenin city and its camp, detained 2 citizens in Jenin city then withdrew at 04:45.

Detention

1. On the evening of 02/18/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Amjad Saleh Lubani - a resident of Qabatiya town, while he was reporting to the Israeli intelligence based on prior notification.
2. The two detainees in the city of Jenin are: Ismail Abd al-Baqi Rafiq Abu al-Wafa and Abdullah Fahmy Shaaban.

TUBAS

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on Wadi al-Malih road in the northern Jordan Valley, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the road between the town of Azzun and the village of Izbat al-Tabib, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 19:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the road connecting the towns of Jayyous and Azzun, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At 23:30, Israeli occupation forces raided Azzun town, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 02:05, Israeli occupation forces raided Qalqilya and detained a citizen.

Detention

The detainee in Qalqilya is Rami Muhammad Farhan.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

At 14:30, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the Zaatarah Junction checkpoint, and blocked traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Deir Ballut, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 19:00.
2. At 19:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Kafr al-Dik, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 20:40.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 07:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Tuqu ', to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Attack

At 16:50, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the entrance to the town of Tekoa fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning.

HEBRON

Detention

At 15:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Old City of Hebron detained 4 citizens: Fahd Ata Hariz, Nizar Nasser Gholama, Ahmed Saeed Al-Rajabi, and Amjad Jamil Al-Adhami.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire, by raiding our areas in the Central Governorate, and by firing from their positions on the Green Line towards Rafah Governorate.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": on 02/18/2021,is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Raid

At 09:00 on 18/02/2021, several vehicles, bulldozers and a cover of reconnaissance aircraft raided 50 meters into east Deir Al-Balah, and carried out digging and bulldozing work until 14:00.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sufa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 18/02/2021, is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs, goods, building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 18/02/2021, is open in both directions (for entry and departure of citizens).

Attack

At 14:30 on the 18/02/2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence east of Rafah.
