WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 21:00, Israeli forces raided Hizma town and clashed with several residents.

Detention

At 21:00, Israeli forces detained the child: Abdel Al Samir Shawki {14 years old} after storming and searching their home.

Attack

1. At 17:05, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Eizariya and Abu Dis towns fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 21:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Hizma town.

House Demolition

At 11:00 on February 1st 2019, Israeli authorities forced Mahmoud Omar Ja'afrat to demolish his home in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city {in order to avoid a financial penalty issued in the event that the Israeli military demolishes the home} for allegedly being built with out a licence.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 13:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On February 1st 2019, the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for the staff of international organizations and those holding from VIP and BMC cardholders only. According to schedule of specific hours (Fridays: 10:00 to 16:00, Saturday: 18:00 to 22:00, Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 to 22:00) .

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:10, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoint at the east and west entrances of Al-Mughier village then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

1. At 10:35, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Mughier village fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators { who were protesting against Israeli confiscation of land for the purpose of settlement expansion} for alleged stoning and as a result injured 7 residents.
2. At 12:45,Israeli forces positioned in Jabal Al-Risan area located near Ras Kar Kar village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {participating in demonstrations against land confiscation and settler violence} for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
3. At 12:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning in Nil'in village.
4. At 12:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning in Bil'in village.
5. At 15:45, Israeli forces positioned at the North entrance of Al-Bireh city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 7 residents: Rasmi Mohammad Ahmad Abu Aliya, Raed Ghazi Al-Na'ssan, Abdel-Hamid Fathi Fayiz Abu Aliya, Mu'tasim Rafiq Abu Aliya, Ayoub Hussien Jabr Abu Aliya, Adnan Shaher Abu Aliya and Murad Fathi Fayiz Abu Aliya during clashes in Al-Mughier village.

Settlers Attacks

At 14:55, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Harjiya area located in Jibya village and assaulted Aram Wadi' Hassan Aweis {A resident of Jibya village} and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 13:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Tayyassir" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

At 10:50, Israeli forces raided Khirbit Attouf village.

Assaults on Property

On January 31st 2019, Israeli forces stormed Jabliya Al-Sharqiya area located in Al-Ras Al-Ahmar village in the North Jordan valley and installed billboards claiming to be an archaeological area despite the fact that the area is owned by private citizens which is officially registered.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city and detained a resident.
2. At 15:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the east entrance of Qalqiliya detained Abdel-Rahman Ahmad Ishtawi {A resident of Kafr Qaddum}.

Attack

At 12:50, Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {protesting against the continued closure} for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified residents during clashes at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village.

NABLUS

Raid

At dawn on February 2nd 2019, Israeli forces raided Azmout village.

Temporary Detention

At 14:20, Israeli forces positioned near "Yitmar" settlement temporarily detained Diya Hanini {A Preventive Security Force officer} then released him at 14:30.

Attack

At 15:15, Israeli forces positioned near "Itamar" settlement located near Beit Furiq town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Settlers Attacks

At 10:40, a group of Israeli settlers riding on a (ATV-all-terrain vehicle) stormed the area between Aqraba and Beita towns and rode through several plots of agricultural land.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

On the evening of February 1st 2019, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Za'tara junction military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beita town then searched residents and vehicles until 16:30.
2. At 14:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qarwat Bani Hassan town then searched residents and vehicles until 16:40.

Detention

At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara junction military checkpoint detained Munthir Waleed Abu Jilda {A resident of Qalandiya camp in Jerusalem district}.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 13;30.
2. At 17:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the villages in west Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Sahab junction located in south Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Haji" settlement junction located in south Hebron city and detained a resident.

Raid

At dawn on February 1st 2019, Israeli forces raided Khursa village then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

1. At 21:05, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Khader Soliman Al-Amour in Al-Tuwani village located in east Yatta town.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near "Haji" settlement junction located in south Hebron city detained Ahmad Mazin Harb Abu Hamad.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza ,Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result injured 32 residents and left 74 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 14:30 on February 1st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town during the march of return and as a result injured 3 residents and left 12 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 14:30 on February 1st 2019, 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city during the march of return and as a result injured 8 residents and left 24 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces injured 8 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 14:30 on February 1st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near east Al- Buriej camp during the march of return and as a result injured 4 residents and left 9 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 4 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 13:30 on February 1st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result injured 7 residents and left 10 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces injured 7 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

Attack

1. At 10:15 on February 1st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Rafah city.
2. At 14:30 on February 1st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city participating in the right of return march and as as a result injured 10 residents and left 19 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces injured 10 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Rafah city.
