WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:00, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the entrances of Al-Eizariya and Abu Dis towns then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town, closed the main road leading to Al-Quds University and as a result impeded the free flow of traffic.
2. At 20:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village, clashed with several residents and detained 4 others.
3. At dawn on February 20th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town and detained a resident.
4. At dawn on February 20th 2019, Israeli forces raided Qalandiya camp and detained a resident.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

1. At 08:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.
2. At 19:30, Israeli forces stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and assaulted several residents near Bab Al-Rahma gate and as as result injured more the 20 residents {including Nasser Qaws} and detained 15 residents.
3. At 20:10, Israeli forces closed the entrances leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and prevented worshipers from entering it.

Detention

1. At dawn on February 19th 2019, Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Nabil Halabiya {17 years old} during their raid into Abu Dis town.
2. Israeli forces detained 15 residents: Mohammed Abu Al-Zughair, Omar Awada, Mohammed Al-Zughair, Hisham Al-Bashiti, Mahmoud Abu Qweider, Mohammed Al-Alami, Mahmoud Al-Zoghair, Islam Al-Zoghair, Bahjat Al-Razzam, Yacoub Al-Dabbagh near Bab Al-Rahma gate in Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
3. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Hamad Chalabi, Majd Marwan Dari, Ahmed Derbas and Mohammed Ayman Obeid
in Al-Eisawiya village.
4. Israeli forces detained Tawfiq Basat in Al-Eizariya town.
5. Israeli forces detained Uday Wafa Mizhir in Qalandiya camp.

Deportation

1. At 21:00, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued an order banning Tarik Al-Alami from Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city for a period of 1 week and fined him 500 NIS as a condition for his release after being detained at an earlier time.
2. On the evening of February 19th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued an order banning Nitham Abu Ramouz from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound until February 25th 2019 as a condition for his release after being detained at an earlier time.

Physical Assault

At 19:30, Israeli forces injured more than 20 residents {including Nasser Qaws} after assaulting them near Bab Al-Rahma gate in Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

Attack

1. At 20:00, Israeli forces positioned near Bab Al-Majlis gate {A main gate leading to Al-Aqsa mosque compound} in the old city of Jerusalem fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 20:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village.
3. At 20:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Closure of main Roads

At 16:00, closed the main road leading to Al-Quds University and as a result impeded the free flow of traffic during their raid into Abu Dis town.

Settlement Activities

On February 18th 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued tenders for the construction of 464 new settlement units in "Gilo" settlement located in Jerusalem city on land occupied in 1967.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On February 19th 2019,the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians. According to schedule of specific hours (Fridays: 10:00 to 16:00, Saturday: 18:00 to 22:00, Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 to 22:00) .

Raid

1. At 18:45, Israeli forces raided Khirbithat Al-Misbah village and detained 2 children.
2. At 03:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village , stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 03:50.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 children: Ahmad Maysour Mahmoud Muslih {14 years old} and Tal'at Sa'id Samour Harfoush {14 years old} in Khirbithat Al-Misbah village.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Yamoun town then searched residents and vehicles.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 21:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Settlers Attacks

At 15:50, Israeli settlers stormed Al-Farisiya area in the North Jordan valley and chased Ahmad Hassan Abu Muh'sin {A resident of Al-Farisiya area} as he was herding his goats.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Shweikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city, stormed and searched a home and a steel mill owned by Raf'a Abdel-Hafith Ikbariyat and confiscated equipment,detained a resident then withdrew at 05:00.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Raf'a Abdel-Hafith Ikbariyat during their raid into Shweikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city.

Confiscation of Property

At 03:00, Israeli forces confiscated equipment owned by Raf'a Abdel-Hafith Ikbariyat after storming and searching his steel mill during their raid into Shweikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city.

QALQILIYA

Raid

At 08:00, Israeli forces raided Maghrat Al-Dab'a village and detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Abdel-Hadi Ibrahim Oda and Khalid Abdel-Hafith Oda in Maghrat Al-Dab'a village.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Burin village junction and "Yisthar" settlement then searched residents and vehicles until 15:25.
2. At 16:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road in Salem village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 16:45, Israeli forces raided Salem village.
2. At 23:05, Israeli forces raided Nablus city as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed "Joseph's Tomb", during which they clashed with several residents and as a result injured 2 residents {including a Journalist} and left 8 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation then withdrew at 04:15.
3. On the evening of February 19th 2019, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village and clashed with several residents.
4. At 03:35, Israeli forces raided Salem village, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:35.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Nasouh Ishtaya in Salem village.

Attack

1. At 23:05, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed "Joseph's Tomb", during their raid into Nablus city and as a result injured 2 residents {including a Journalist} and left 8 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. On the evening of February 19th 2019, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Sabastiya village.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Mu'tasim Saqif Al-Hit {A journalist} and Saba' Ali Hassan Namour during clashes in Nablus city.

Confiscation of Property

At 13:25, Israeli forces confiscated 400 m2 of tiles owned by Thiyab Samih Hija {A resident of Burqa village} located in Al-Masaudiya area in Burqa village for allegedly being placed in Area C which is under Israeli Military and administrative control.

Settlers Attacks

At 13:35, a group of Israeli settlers from "Yitshar" settlement stormed agricultural land located in Krouim Salim area which is in Burin village then ploughed the land.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bidya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 04:00 on February 19th 2019, Israeli forces detained Muhier Majed Yusef Salamat during their raid into Bidya town{in addition to those mentioned in the previous report}.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Ein Dweik village {located along Al-Murajat road which connects Jericho and Ramallah} then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Nihalin town boys school during which they clashed with several school children and temporarily detained several children then released them at a later time and withdrew at 14:15.

Raid

1. At 11:25, Israeli forces raided Husan village until 12:00.
2. At 13:20, Israeli forces raided Dar Salah village then stormed a merchant shop.
3. At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Doha town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes then detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. At 23:45, Israeli forces positioned at Container Military checkpoint detained Hatem Ahmad Sabarna {A resident of Beit Ummar town in Hebron district}.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Jamil Abu Sarhan and Fadi Nizar Abu Halawat in Al-Doha town.

Attack

1. At 12:50, Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint near Nihalin town boys school fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children for alleged stoning.
2. At 04:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Al-Doha town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Wadi Al-Samin area located in Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Hebron city near "Hagi" settlement then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 15:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Beit Einoun village junction {located at the south entrance of Sa'ir town} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub camp, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes, detained 6 residents {including a child} and summoned Hassan Al-Jawabrat to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 03:35.
2. At 02:05, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.
3. At 07:50, Israeli forces raided Halhul town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 21:50 on February 18th 2018, Israeli forces detained Omar Talib Al-Natah during their raid into Ithna town.
2. At 23:55 on February 18th 2019, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ziyad Mahmoud Mut'ab and Thaer Ziyad Mahmoud Mut'ab during their raid into Hebron city.
3. Israeli forces detained 6 residents: Hisham Jabr al-Titi, Anas Jamil Jawabra, Mohammed Hassan al-Badawi, Nadim Muheeb Abdel-Fattah al-Titi {14 years old}, Nidan Nawaf al-Sharif, and Khaled Jibril Joubarah in Al-Arrub camp.
4. Israeli forces detained Uday Imad Al-Tuwihat in Halhul town.

Attack

At 02:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Al-Arrub camp.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by launching tank artillery shells and opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza and Central Gaza districts and as as result injured 17 residents and left 19 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Rafah districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 15:00 on February 19th 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards approximately 20 Palestinian fishing boats carrying several protesters off the shores of of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town then forced them to Gaza sea port at 17:30.
2. At 15:00 on February 19th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in North West Beit Lahiya town and as as result injured 16 residents and left 19 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
3. At 19:00 on February 19th 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 16 unidentified residents during clashes North West Beit Lahiya town during the march of return.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 18:00 on February 19th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp and as a result injured 1 resident and left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 1 unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp during the march of return.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 11:30 on February 19th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al Qarara town located north east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects

Attack

At 11:00 on February 19th 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah city.
