WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eizariya town {near Ma'alee Adumim" settlement junction} and detained a resident.

Raid

1. At dawn on February 20th 2018 and again at 11:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town and detained 3 residents.
2. At 15:00 and again at 01:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 3 residents.

Detention

1. At 12:00, Israeli forces detained Ma'moun Al-Razam in Jerusalem city.
2. At dawn on February 21st 2018, Israeli forces detained Omar Muhisien in Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city.
3. At dawn on February 21st 2018, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Obada Samir Yusuf Najib and Mahmoud Najib in the old city of Jerusalem.
3. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located the entrance of Al-Eizariya town {near Ma'alee Adumim" settlement junction} detained Abdel Fattah al-Sharif {A resident of Hebron city}.
4. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Omar Zaki Al Ayad, Hussam Abu Al Hawa and Ghassan Al Jahalin in Al-Eizariya town.
5. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Hamza Mohy Awad Derbas, Ahmed Atef Ebeid and his brother Tamer in Al-Eisawiya village.

Attack

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned in Shu'fat camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 19:50, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Eisawiya village fired rubber coated steel bullets,stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Ammar Mohammad Yusef during clashes in Al-Eisawiya village.

House Demolition

On February 20th 2018, Israeli forces stormed Jabal Al-Baba Bedouin community located in east Al-Eizariya town and demolished a home owned by Musa Al-Jihalin for allegedly being built with out a licence.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atara town bridge, temporarily detained 2 residents then released them at a later time.

Raid

1. At 02:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Amari camp in Al-Bireh city, detained a resident then withdrew at 05:50.
2. At 04:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp and detained 2 residents.
3. At 05:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya town and detained a resident.
4. At 05:30, Israeli forces raided Silwad town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Waleed Khalid Nassar in Al-Amari camp located in Al-Bireh city.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Jihad Nidal Yaqub Alayan and Ahmed Kazem Basbous in Al-Jalazoun camp.
3. Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Mohammad Jum'a in Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiya town.
4. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Bassam Hamad in Silwad town.

Temporary Detention

At 22:20, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near Atara town bridge, temporarily detained 2 residents: Walid Zidan and Mohammed Zidan {residents of Beit Rima town} then released them at a later time.

Attack

At 14:40, Israeli forces positioned at "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint near "Bet El" settlement located in North Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

JENIN

Raid

At 05:50, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town, clashed with several residents as they stormed several homes and detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Sulaiman Ziad Mahmoud Nazzal and Mohammed Abdul Rahman Assaf in Qabatiya town.

Attack

At 05:50, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed several homes during their raid into Qabatiya town.

TUBAS

Raid

At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Far'a camp, stormed and searched 4 homes then withdrew at 06:50.

Temporary Detention

On the afternoon of February 20th 2018, Israeli forces positioned near Bissan crossing point located in the North Jordan Valley area temporarily detained a news crew from Palestine Television and a journalist crew from "Wafa"Palestinian News Agency as they were reporting on the construction in Bissan crossing point then released them at a later time.

TULKAREM

Temporary Detention

At 15:15, Israeli forces positioned near "Enav" settlement temporarily detained 3 residents: Mo'min Yousef Mohammed Adas, Shadi Abdullah Hussein Adas, and Anas Mohammed Yusuf Adas then released them at 18:40.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Qadumim" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 00:55, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city , detained a resident then withdrew at 02:30.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Abdallah Zuhier Waluwil in Qalqiliya city.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 07:50 on February 21st 2018, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furiq Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

1. At 08:30 on February 20th 2018, Israeli forces raided Assira Al-Shamaliya town and stormed a cement brick factory then withdrew at 11:55.
2. At 00:55 on February 21st 2018, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes, detained 4 residents then withdrew at 05:15.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ahamd Sa'ad, Husam Nidal Al-Sa'lous, Nidal Sa'lous and Yasser Sa'lous in Nablus city.

Attack

1. At 16:20, Israeli forces positioned in Jabal Al-Qa'da area located near Beit Furiq town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 00:55, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning. as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Nablus city.

Settlers Attacks

At 20:15, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Yitshar" settlement stoned residents and vehicles travelling along the bypass road near the settlement which leads to Jit village junction in Qalqiliya district and as a result damaged a vehicle owned by Ammar Hassan Jaghoub {A resident of Beita town}.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 07:30 on February 21st 2018, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 18:15, Israeli forces raided Deir Istiya town and Harris village until 19:15.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along road (90) near Al-Oja village then searched residents and vehicles until 14:20.
2. At 13:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 15:00.
3. At 14:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Oja village junction (located along Al-Mu'arajat road which connects Ramallah and Jericho) then searched residents and vehicles until 16:40.

Raid

At 20:45, Israeli forces raided Jericho city until 21:10.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:30 and again at 19:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 21:45.

Raid

1. At 20:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town ,clashed with several residents then withdrew at 21:50.
2. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town, detained 3 residents {including 2 children} then withdrew at 05:50.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Imran Sulaiman al-Sabah {15 years old}, Hussein Mohammed Hussein al-Amor {17 years old}, and Mutasim Samih Mahmoud al-Amour in Teqou' town.

Attack

1. At 05:40 on February 20th 2018, Israeli forces fired live ammunition , rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city and as a result injured a resident.
2. On February 20th 2018, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Khader town.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Ali Abedel-Hameed Ibrahim Al-Tuos {A resident of Bethlehem city} during clashes in Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Raid

1. On February 20th 2018, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town, served military orders to halt construction on a live stock den owned by Na'im Ihmadin Abu Mariya and another order to halt the installation of a water pipe network owned by Ghassan Mmohammad Baraghith for allegedly being built with out licences.
2. At 21:20, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.
3. At dawn on February 21st 2018, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town and detained a resident.
4. At dawn on February 21st 2018, Israeli forces raided Yatta town, stormed and searched a home, summoned 3 residents to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Nijim Al-Din Abu Jarour in Bani Na'im town.

Temporary Detention

At 13:20, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron temporarily detained 2 residents including a child: Mohammed Alaa Al-Rajabi {13 years old} and Mohammed Ibrahim Abdul Karim Al Fakhouri then released them at a later time.

Confiscation of Property

On February 20th 2018, Israeli forces confiscated a Crane owned by Na'im Ihmadin Abu Mariya for allegedly being used to build a live stock den which is not licence during their raid into Beit Ummar town.

Settlers Attacks

On the evening of February 20th 2018, a group of Israeli settlers installed mobile trailers in Al-Nijarin market in the old city of Hebron which is closed by the Israeli Military.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

•The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza and Central Gaza district.
•Israeli Naval vessels broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 07:45 on February 20th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 10:45 on February 20th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.
3. At 13:00 on February 20th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in North Beit Lahiya town.
4. At 10:10 on February 21st 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 15:00 on February 19th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Buriej camp.

Killings

At dawn on February 21st 2018, Ahmad Mohammad Abed-Rabbo Abu Al-Hilu {19 years old}{A resident of Al-Buriej camp} died of serious injuries sustained after Israeli forces opened fire towards him during demonstrations on east Al-Buriej camp on February 16th 2018.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
