WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of the tunnel leading to Biddu town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Al-Eizariya town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 22:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Anata town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 05:30 on February 21st 2019, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town and detained a child.

Detention

1. At 19:30, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Ali Atta Sarouja and Mohammad Doud Matar {Both are residents of Al-Sawahrat village}.
2. At 20:30, Israeli forces detained Fadi Al-Matour in Wadi Al-Joz neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
3. At 21:30, Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Jihad Nasser Qauws, Murad Masak and Hijazi Abu Subieh in the old city of Jerusalem.
4. 5. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Nabil Halabiyat {17 years old} in Abu Dis town.

Physical Assault

At 10:00, Israeli forces assaulted Hussam Mohammad Talhami {A Security guard at Al-Aqsa mosque} and his mother after storming his home in the old city of Jerusalem.

Attack

1. At 21:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. At 22:00, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Eisawiya village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

Settlers Attacks

At 20:00, a Israeli settler driving his vehicle in Sur Baher village ran over the child Omar Qassem Al-Ramuni and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On February 21st 2019,the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians. According to schedule of specific hours (Fridays: 10:00 to 16:00, Saturday: 18:00 to 22:00, Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 to 22:00) .

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Abu Mash'al village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at near Al-Jalazoun camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 22:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city.
2. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Deir Intham village.

JENIN

Raid

At 03:50, Israeli forces raided Jenin city and its camp, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ahmad Rateb Yunis Aweis in Jenin camp.

Attack

At 03:50, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Jenin camp.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles until 10:00.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 16:00,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furik military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road between Nablus city and Assira Al-Shamaliya town then searched residents and vehicles until 16:20.

Raid

At 11:05, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village and stormed archaeological sites in the village.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 13:30, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Orif village under the protection of the Israeli military who fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several resiednts who attempted to prevent the settler attack and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 17:20, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near Al-Libban Al-Sharqiya village attacked several sheppard's who were herding their goats on agricultural land.

Attack

At 13:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they escorted Israeli settlers who stormed Orif village and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Hamam Anwar Shihada during clashes in Orif village.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bruqin town and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Bruqn town detained Baha Samih Abu Bakr {A resident of Ya'bad town in Jenin district} for allegedly carrying a knife.

Temporary Detention

At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara junction military checkpoint temporarily detain Mahmoud Ali Louwil {A resident of Al-Far'a camp in Tubas district} then released him at a later time.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Ein Dweik village {located along the main road connecting Jericho and Ramallah} then searched residents and vehicles until 12:30.
2. At 11:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Ma'ale Efraim" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.

Detention

At 23:00, Israeli forces detained 2 residents : Ahmad Hani Jalayta {A resident of Jericho city} and Anas Nasser Khalil Abu Sayef {A resident of Ein Al-Sultan camp in Jericho city} who were riding a motor cycle along road 90 for allegedly carrying a Molotov fire bomb.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:00 and again at 20:20, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Container military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:25 and again at 20:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 21:30
2. At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 11:35.
3. At 11:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 14:20.
4. At 20:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Jalla city then searched resident and vehicles until 21:45.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 06:00, Israeli forces raided Dura town then stormed and searched 2 homes.
2. At dawn on February 22nd 2019, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed a home.

Attack

1. At 08:55, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children and as a result left 12 children suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 11:20, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Arrub camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Closure of main Roads

At 17:50, Israeli forces closed the steel gate located at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.

Settlers Attacks

On February 21st 2019, a group of Israeli settlers from "Magon" and "Beit Yattir" settlement stormed agricultural land in east Yatta town and chased away several Sheppard who were herding their goats in Um Humtiya and Al-Hamra area's.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by launching tank artillery shells and opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as as result injured 4 residents and several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 10:00 on February 21st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 13:20 on February 21st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 15:30 on February 21st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.

Attack

1. At 11:30 on February 21st 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah city.
2. At 11:40 on February 21st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards a motorcycle near the border fence in east Rafah city.
3. At 12:45 on February 21st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line towards agricultural land in east Rafah city.
4. At 17:10 on February 21st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city and as as result injured 4 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 4 unidentified residents during clashes in east Rafah city.
