JERUSALEM

Military Checkpoints

At 18:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Jaba' military checkpoint {which connects Jerusalem, Jericho and Ramallah districts} and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

1. At 09:55, Israeli forces raided Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city.
2. At 17:00,Israeli forces raided Anata town, clashed with several residents and detained a resident.
3. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town.

Detention

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Darwish {a resident of Jerusalem city}.
2. At dawn on February 23rd 2018, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Al-Shalabi after storming his home in Jerusalem city.
3. Israeli forces detained Amir Ghanaymeh in Anata town.

Attack

1. At 11:00, Israeli forces positioned near Kafr Aqab town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 16:30, Israeli forces positioned in Abu Dis town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 17:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Anata town.
4. At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Hizma town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

Settlement Activities

On February 21st 2018, Israeli Authorities in Jerusalem city approved plans for the construction of 3000 new settlement units in the area between "Gilo" settlement and the bypass road area which is approximately 280 dunums of land located in south Jerusalem city on land occupied in 1967.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

1. At 18:55, Israeli forces raided Bir Ziet town and opened fire towards a vehicle carrying Omar Al-Kiswani near the entrance of Bir Ziet University campus then withdrew at a later time.
2. At 22:40, Israeli forces raided Ras Kar Kar village.

Attack

1. At 14:30, Israeli forces positioned near "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Bet El" settlement located in North Al-Bireh city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 15:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Deir Intham village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child.
3. At 18:55, Israeli forces opened fire towards a vehicle carrying Omar Al-Kiswani near the entrance of Bir Ziet University campus during their raid into Bir Zeit town.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured the child Salah Mahmoud Yahya Al-Tamimi {10 years old) during clashes near Deir Intham village.

Closure of main Roads

At 15:40, Israeli forces closed the steel gate entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.

JENIN

Raid

At 19:45, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town and clashed with several residents.

Attack

At 19:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Ya'bad town.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 15:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Settlers Attacks

On February 22nd 2018, a Israeli settler placed his cows in a shed set up near Tayasir military base which was abandoned since 2015 located east of the village of Tayasir and housed himself in empty rooms in the area.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Eliyas village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 20:10, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, detained a child then withdrew at 22:05.
2. At 22:15, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ma'zouz Mohammad Daud {13 years old} in Qalqiliya city.

At 20:45, Israeli forces positioned near "Ayal" crossing point in North Qalqiliya city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

At 14:55, a Israeli settler driving his vehicle along the main road in Al-Fanduq village ran over Mohammad Sayel Yusef Faris {A resident of Deir Istiya town in Salfit district} and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Libban Al-Sharqiya village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Deir Istiya village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 19:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Mu'raba'a area located near Tel village then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

1. At 16:45, Israeli forces positioned at the south area of Salem village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 16:45, Israeli forces positioned at Jabal Al-Qa'da area located near Beit Furiq town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident.

At 20:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballut town then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Attack

At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned near the south entrance of Jericho city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident.

Israeli forces injured Omar Salem Abdel-Hadi Thabet during clashes near the south entrance of Jericho city.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.

Raid

1. At 12:20 and again at 01:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town, detained 2 residents {including a detainees wife and his father} then withdrew at 05:15.
2. At 22:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Manshiya village, served a military order to halt construction on 2 homes owned by Mohammad Waleed Salahat and Sa'id Haroun Salahat during their raid into Al-Manshiya village.

Detention

1. At 13:45, Israeli forces detained 2 children: Fadi Issa Mousa Al-Wahsh {16 years old}, and Mohsen Yacoub Da'ud {16 years old} near Al-Khader town.
2. Israeli forces detained Niveen Salah { The wife Abdel-Min'im Mohammad Imran Salah- A Palestinian Detainee} and his father Mohammad Imran Salah {67 years old} in Al-Khader town.

Attack

At 13:45, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Khader town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children for alleged stoning.

Closure of main Roads

On February 22nd 2018, Israeli forces closed a agricultural road in Al-Suwana area in Al-Khader town which leads to Shush-hilla , Thaher Al-Zayah, Ein Masour and Ein Qasis area's of Al-Khader town with a steel gate.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Samou' town.
2. At 10:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Kahil and Tafuh towns until 13:20.
3. At 11:55 and again at 24:00, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed and searched a home
4. At dawn on February 23rd 2018, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Issa Hashim Omar Baher in Beit Ummar town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza stripe and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Central Gaza and Khan Yunis district.
•Israeli Naval vessels broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 07:30 on February 22nd 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 07:30 on February 22nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in Deir Al-Balah city.
2. At 15:30 on February 22nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp and detained a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 07:30 on February 22nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Qarrara and Abbassan Al-Kabira towns located in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 22:30 on February 22nd 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Qarrara town.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
