WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Mahdi al-Abbasi, Majdi al-Abbasi, Awad al-Abbasi and Abdul Rahim al-Abbasi in Jerusalem city.

2. At 13:20, Israeli forces detained Yassin Subieh near Bab Al-Amoud area in the old city of Jerusalem.
3. At 15:00, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mohammad Al-Jundi and Wael Al-Rajabi {Both are residents of Wadi Al-Juz neighborhood} in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
4. On the evening of February 22nd 2019, Israeli forces detained Husni Al-Kayali after storming his home in Jerusalem city.
5. At 01:00, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Nasser Musa Qaws and Ali Ahmad Ajjaj in the old city of Jerusalem.

Deportation

1. On February 22nd 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders preventing Yasser Hassan Darwish {A resident of Al-Eisawiya village} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound and the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 15 days and placed him under house arrest for 5 days in addition to fining him 1000 NIS and an additional 20000 NIS as a condition for his release after being detained at an earlier time.
2. On February 22nd 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders preventing 4 residents: Amjad al-Gharouf, Jadallah al-Ghoul, Hijazi Abu Sabeeh, and Fadi al-Mutawar from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound for a period of 3 days as a condition for their release after being detained at an earlier time.

Attack

At 20:00, Israeli forces positioned in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On February 22nd 2019,the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians. According to schedule of specific hours (Fridays: 10:00 to 16:00, Saturday: 18:00 to 22:00, Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 to 22:00) .

Raid

At 16:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city.

Attack

1. At 11:40, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Mughier village fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators protesting against land confiscation and settlement projects and as a result injured 4 residents {including a child} and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 12:50, Israeli forces positioned in Jabal Al-Risan area located near Ras Kar Kar village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {participating in demonstrations against land confiscation and settler violence} for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident and left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
3. At 12:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning in Nil'in village.
4. At 13:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning in Bil'in village.

Injuries

1.Israeli forces injured 4 residents: Firas Iyad Abu Alia {17 years old}, Arafat Abdul Rahman Abu Alia, Adam Mahmoud Abu Alia, and Said Nizar Abdul Rahman Al Na'asan during clashes in Al-Mughier village.

2. Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident during clashes in Jabal Al-Risan area located near Ras Kar Kar village.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 18:55, Israeli forces raided Beit Qad town and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on February 23rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Rumana village then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Kamal Mohammad Kamal Zidan in Beit Qad village.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 14:50, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Settlers Violence

1. At 13:00, Israeli settlers stormed Al-Quba'ya area located in the North Jordan valley and installed tents on residential owned land.
2. At 13:40, 4 Israeli settlers riding motorcycles stormed Um Al-Qabash area in Khirbioet Attouf village.
3. At 14:30, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Lahmat area in the North Jordan valley and went near homes in the area

QALQILIYA

At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Halbat town and detained a resident.

Israeli forces detained Ghalib Amer Al-Laham in Halbat town.

At 12:30, Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {protesting against the continued closure} for alleged stoning and as a result left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Deir Sharaf village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles until 16:45.
2. At 20:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of "Shavie Shamron" settlement then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sabastiya village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 14:25, Israeli forces raided Beit Dajan village until 16:55.
2. At 03:45, Israeli forces raided Beita town.

SALFIT

Raid

1. At 01:05, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town.
2. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Harris village.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Oja village junction and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near Al-Oja village junction detained Ameer Mohammad Lafi Bani Jama' {A resident of Aqraba town in Nablus district}.

Settlers Attacks

At 10:45, four Israeli settlers raided Al-Nuwi'ma village and stormed Naaran Synagouge" after damaging the wire fencing then withdrew at 11:35.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

At 20:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Container military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 13:10.
2. At 12:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 17:00.

Temporary Detention

At 10:00, Israeli forces positioned near the Railway in Beitar village temporarily detained 2 residents {including a child}: Mohammad Turki Abu Sineineh {17 years old} and Ala Rashid Ramadan as they participated in demonstrations protesting against land confiscation and settlement construction then released them at 11:50.

Settlers Attacks

On February 22nd 2019, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near "Nakudim" settlement stormed a plot of agricultural land in Betar village owned by Al-Zawahrat family then withdrew after being chased by away by local residents.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Huwawier area {located at the North entrance of Halhul town} then searched residents and vehicles until 20:50.

Raid

1. At dawn on February 23rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Ithna town.
2. At dawn on February 23rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, stormed and searched the home of Hatem Rabah Qufshiya and confiscated 4750 NIS.

Attack

At 12:30, Israeli forces positioned near Bab Al-Zawiya area located near Al-Shuhada road in Hebron city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a child and detained a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified child during clashes near Bab Al-Zawiya area located near Al-Shuhada road in Hebron city.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Jamal Nimr Abu Shamat during clashes near Bab Al-Zawiya area located near Al-Shuhada road in Hebron city.

Confiscation of Property

At dawn on February 23rd 2019, Israeli forces confiscated 4750 NIS from the home of Hatem Rabah Qufshiya during their raid into Hebron city.

Settlers Attacks

On February 22nd 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Khliat Assir area in Al-Shiyoukh town and uprooted 600 newly planted Olive groves owned by Al-Idawi and Al-Rusanat families.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.
•Israeli forces broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding Central Gaza district.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as as result killed a child and injured 41 residents and several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

1. At 15:00 on February 22nd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in North east Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 16:00 on February 22nd 2019, 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town during the march of return and as a result injured 6 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 6 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

1. At 10:00 on February 22nd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fore towards agricultural land in east Gaza city.
2. At 14:00 on February 22nd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city during the march of return and as a result killed a child,injured 11 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Killings

Israeli forces opened fire towards and killed the child: Yusef Sa'id Al-Diyat {14 years old}{a resident of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza city} during clashes in east Gaza city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 11 unidentified residents during clashes in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Raid

At 08:00 on February 22nd 2019, Israeli forces escorting military bulldozers stormed 70m into the vicinity of east Al-Buriej camp and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 09:30.

Attack

At 14:00 on February 22nd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp participating in the right of return march and as a result injured 8 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces injured 8 unidentified residents during clashes in east Al-Buriej camp participating in the right of return march.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 14:00 on February 22nd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result injured 13 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces injured 13 unidentified resident during clashes in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.

* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
