WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 15:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and clashed with several residents.
2. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town.

Detention

1.At 08:30, Israeli forces detained Samer Al-Qabani {a security gaurd at Al-Aqsa mosque compound} {a resident of Al-Thori neighborhood} as he was exiting Al-Aqsa mosque.
2. At dawn on February 24th 2019, Israeli forces detained 2 residents Abdel-Athim Salhab {Chairman of the Council of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs in Jerusalem{A resident of Beit Hanina town} and Najjah Barakat { Deputy Director General of Awqaf Department}{A resident of Sur Baher village} after storming their homes in Beit Hanina town and Sur Baher village.

Temporary Detention

On the evening of February 23rd 2019, Israeli Authorities in Jerusalem city issued a order to place 2 children: Abed Mohammad Oda and Mohammad Mahdi Al-Shaloudi under home arrest for a period of 7 days and fined them 5000 NIS each as a condition for their release after being detained at an earlier time.

Attack

At 15:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On February 23rd 2019,the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians. According to schedule of specific hours (Fridays: 10:00 to 16:00, Saturday: 18:00 to 22:00, Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 to 22:00) .

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at "Halmish" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Beit Rima town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes, detained 2 residents and summoned 2 residents: Mahmoud Azziz Al-Rimawi and Jad Fahed Al-Barghouthi to report to Israeli intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 05:30.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Karim Tariq Al-Barghouthi and Murad Karim Tariq Al-Barghouthi in Beit Rima town.

Attack

At 01:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Beit Rima town.

Settlers Attacks

At 12:50, a Israeli settler positioned near Eitoun Al-Haramiya area junction {located along the main road connecting Ramallah and Nablus} opened fire towards Soliman Ahmad Izat Amran {A resident of Deir Al-Hatab village in Nablus district} and as a result left him hospitalized with wounds.

Injuries

Soliman Ahmad Izat Amran {A resident of Deir Al-Hatab village in Nablus district} was hospitalized with wounds after , a Israeli settler positioned near Eitoun Al-Haramiya area junction {located along the main road connecting Ramallah and Nablus} opened fire towards him.

JENIN

Raid

At 20:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Taybay, Zubaba, Rumana and Annin villages.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 13:50, Israeli forces raided Bal'a, Anabta and Deir Al-Ghsoun towns and Al-Jaroushiya village.

Detention

At 01:05 on February 23rd 2019, Israeli forces detained Abdel-Qadder Ali Abdel-Qadder Tayat during their raid into Tulkarem city.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Jit village junction {located along the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Nablus} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 03:45.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Mustafa Darwish Mustafa Haj Hassan, Dawood Al-Shanti, and Mohammed Abdul Latif Daoud in Qalqiliya city.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 17:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 17:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Yitshar" settlement junction ,located in North Huwara town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Iraq Burin village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 20:10, Israeli forces raided Qabalan town and Yatma village until 00:30.
2. On February 23rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village and removed a Palestinian flag located in archaeological site in the village.

Settlers Attacks

At 00:10, a group of Israeli settlers positioned at Huwara military checkpoint stoned vehicles passing through the checkpoint and as a result broke the windshield of a vehicle owned by Mohammad Abdel-Karim Sawafta {A resident of Bardala village in Tubas district}.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 14:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Kafr Al-Dik town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 23:00, Israeli forces raided Deir Ballout town and Rafat village until 23:30.
2. At 23:40, Israeli forces raided Bidya town until 03:50.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Fasayil village then searched residents and vehicles until 23:30.

Attack

At 13:30, Israeli forces positioned near Aqabat Jaber camp cemetery located in Jericho city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

BETHLEHEM

Raid

1. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Husan village then stormed and searched a home.
2. At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town and detained 2 children.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 children: Samed Mahmoud Salah {17 years old} and Mahmoud Ashraf Issa {17 years old} in Al-Khader town.

HEBRON

Raid

At 21:30, Israeli forces raided Halhoul town.

Temporary Detention

On the evening of February 23rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned in south Yatta town temporarily detained 3 residents from Abu Yunis and Al-Jabarin families as they were herding goats then released them at a later time.

Physical Assault

At 16:35, Israeli forces assaulted Mash'hour Al-Wahah {a photo journalist} as he was taking pictures of a group of Israeli settlers as they demonstrated in the old city of Hebron.

Attack

At 20:50, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Arrub camp fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Mohammad Atta Sa'ed Al-Assissi during clashes near the entrance of Al-Arrub camp.

Settlers Attacks

At 13:20, Israeli settlers assaulted Husam Abu Hadid {Treasurer of Hebron Rehabilitation Committee} in Al-Sahlat area in the old city of Hebron and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Gaza, Central Gaza and Khan Yunis districts and as a result injured 1 resident.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards North Gaza and Khan Yunis districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is closed.

Attack

At 10:40 on February 23rd 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 18:50 on February 23rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents positioned near the border fence in east Al-Buriej camp and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 12:40 on February 23rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 16:40 on February 23rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuz'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.
3. At 17:20 on February 23rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards Palestinian gunmen sites located in east Khan Yunis city.
4. At 18:30 on February 23rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.
5. At 21:50 on February 23rd 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis city.
