JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Eizariya town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 20:30, Israeli forces raided Biddu town and clashed with several residents.
2. At 23:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village, clashed with several residents and as a result left Ma'moun Basil Mahmoud hospitalised.

Detention

1. On February 24th 2017, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Daoud Abdel-Haq {A resident of Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem city}.
2. On February 24th 2017, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Iksa checkpoint detained the child Mohammad Jamal Al-Khadour {14 years old} {A resident of Bidu town}.

Attack

1. At 20:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Biddu town.
2. At 21:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
3. At 23:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets,stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village and as a result injured Maamoun Basal Mahmoud.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Ma'moun Basil Mahmoud during clashes in Al-Eisawiya village.

Closure of main Roads

At 21:10, Israeli forces closed the west entrance of Al-Eisawiya village and impeded the free flow of traffic from both directions.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Turmus'aya town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 14:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Rima town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 16:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Abu Mash'al village then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 16:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Abboud town then searched residents and vehicles.

Demonstrations

1. At 12:40, a demonstration took place in Bil’in village protesting against the construction of the wall during which they clashed with Israeli forces and as a result suffocated several residents from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 12:40, a demonstration took place in Nil’in village protesting against the construction of the wall during which they clashed with Israeli forces and as a result suffocated several residents from tear gas inhalation.

1. At 12:40,Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several demonstrators participating in a demonstration against the construction of the wall in Bil'in village.

JENIN

Detention

On February 24th 2017, Israeli forces positioned near the wall gate detained 2 children:Qusay Ali Al-Samoudi (17 years old) and Malik Mohammad Saber Al-Badi (17 years old).

TUBAS

Raid

At 22:00, Israeli forces raided Ein Al-Bayda village.

Detention

On February 24th 2017, Israeli forces detained Abdallah Khalid Mahmoud Fayad (A resident of Al-Far'a camp) as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.

TULKAREM

Raid

At 21:00, Israeli forces raided Quffin town, stormed a home then withdrew at 21:10.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Haja and Kafr Qaddum village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Jaloujliya road as they raided Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicle until 17:10 .
3. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Jit village junction , temporarily seized a government vehicle carrying Palestinian Authority Minister of Religious Affairs then allowed it to pass through at a later time.
4. At 20:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Sabastiya and Burqa villages then searched residents and vehicles until 22:25.

Raid

1. At 15:15, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city, set up a checkpoint then withdrew at 17:10.
2. At 20:50, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 21:55.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Yusef Ahmad Yusef Abu Saleem and Awni Faysal Mohammad Saleem in Azzun town.

Demonstrations

At 13:00, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum village against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach the demonstration site and as a result injured 2 residents including a child:Mohammad Hilmi Ishtewi {11 years old} and Abdallah Saleem {26 years old} and left several demonstrators suffocated from tear gas inhalation then temporarily detained a Palestine Television news crew and several local and International journalists and released then at a later time.

At 13:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators participating in a demonstration against the closure of Kafr Qaddum villages east entrance and as a result injured 2 residents including a child:Mohammad Hilmi Ishtewi {11 years old} and Abdallah Saleem {26 years old} and left several demonstrators suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces detained 2 residents including a child:Mohammad Hilmi Ishtewi {11 years old} and Abdallah Saleem {26 years old} during confrontations in Kafr Qaddum village.

Temporary Detention

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces temporarily detained a Palestine Television news crew and several local and International journalists during demonstrations in Kafr Qaddum village and released them at a later time.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near Jit village temporarily seized a government vehicle carrying Palestinian Authority Minister of Religious Affairs then allowed it to pass through at a later time.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shave Shamron" settlement junction, temporarily detained 2 Security Force officers: Mohammad Fat'hi Mohammad Al-Bida { A National Security Forces officer} and Ashraf Abdel-Fattah Yusef Hijazi {A National Security Force officer} then released them at a later time.

At 16:15, Israeli forces raided Einbuis village.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahour city} then searched residents and vehicles until 10:30.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Aqbat Hasnah area located near Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 24:00.
3. At 18:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 19:20.

Raid

1. At 13;00, Israeli forces raided Husan village.
2. At 16:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town until 16:15.
3. At 20:30, Israeli forces raided Nihalin village, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 21:10.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Milad Ammar Daoud Al-Sha'er, Mohammad Ali Mohammad Hamamrah and Mohammad Yacoub Mohammad Aref Abu Fanoun in Nihalin village.

Attack

At 14:20, Israeli forces positioned near the west entrance of Teqou' town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Settlers Attacks

At 12:45, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military forces stormed the west entrance of Teqou' town, closed the steel gate entrance and impeded the free flow of traffic until 16:00.

HEBRON

Demonstrations

At 12:30, a demonstration took place in the old city of Hebron protesting agianst settlement construction , demanding the reopening of Al-Shuhada road and peoples freedom of movement during which Israeli Military forces clashed with protesters and as a result injured 4 residents{including 2 women and a child}: Siham Musa Abu Aram, Sana Abdel-Qadder Amro, Mufid Mohammad Shaker Al-Sharabati (13 years old) and Mohammad Hisham Obied leaving them hospitalized with contusions and also assaulted Imad Assa'ied (A journalist) leaving him hospitalised with contusions.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.
• Israeli Military forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards North Gaza,Gaza and Central Gaza Districts and as a result injured a child.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 16:30 on February 24th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition and tear gas grenades towards several resiednts in Abu Samra area located in North West Beit Lahiya town as they were participating in demonstrations protesting against the Israeli Military and settlers assault on Al-Aqsa Mosque and residents.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

1. At 15:00 on February 24th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several residents located in the vicinity Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing located in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood in east Gaza city as they were participating in demonstrations protesting the Israeli Military and settler attack on Al-Aqsa mosque compound.
2. At 18:30 on February 24th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Jahr Al-Dik town located in south east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 16:30 on February 24th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several residents located east Al-Maghazi camp as they were participating in demonstrations protesting the Israeli Military and settler attack on Al-Aqsa mosque compound and as a result injured a 16 year old child.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured the child: Mohammad Eyad Mohammad Al-Taweel (16 years old) in Al-Maghazi camp.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
