Daily Report February 25, 2018

On February 24th 2018, Israeli forces closed the entrance gate of Berit Iksa Military checkpoint and prevented residents from entering or exiting the village.

At 14:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Ram town then searched residents and vehicles.

At 15:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained a woman.

At 19:30, Israeli forces closed a restaurant owned by Zuhier Izhimna which is located on Al-Zahra road in Jerusalem city {for a period of one night} in order to prevent a dinner party held for several Journalists from Jerusalem during which Israeli forces detained the restaurant owner and a journalist and summoned 2 residents: Shadi Al-Matour and Awad Al-Salayma to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sinjil town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Abboud town then searched residents and vehicles.

At 12:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Arraba town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qaddum village.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city, detained 4 residents {including 2 children} then withdrew at 06:30.

Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Mohammed Ahmad Nasr Abu Adwan 17 years, Hamed Mohammed Nasr Abu Adwan {15 years old}, Mohammed Sameeh Awaisi and Uday Mohammed Abu Assab in Qalqiliya city.

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned near the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured a resident.
2. At 17:10, Israeli forces positioned near the North entrance of Qalqiliya city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

At 23:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Burin village fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 children.
2. At 17:30,Israeli forces positioned near Salem village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Hamada Mohammed Rashid Amran {16 years old} and Hakam Firas Hikam Mansour {16 years old} during clashes near the east area of Burin village.

At 13:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 16:30.

At 17:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Beit Fajjar town and detained a resident.

At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town, detained 2 children and summoned Sayf Mahmoud Musa Al-Amour {12 years old} to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 03:30.

1. At 18:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Halhul town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beit Einoun village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 22:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 08:00 on February 24th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 08:30 on February 24th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town, temporarily detained 2 fishermen and confiscated their fishing boat.
3. At 09:30 on February 24th 2018, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town.

At 08:30, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 fishermen: Omar Fayez Abu Sadiq and Muhammad Adnan Kabajah {both residents of the Shati refugee camp in Gaza City} after confiscating their fishing boat off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town then released them at 18:30.

1. At 09:00 on February 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 16:00 on February 24th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.
