WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. At 19:45, Israeli forces positioned near "Adam" settlement located near Jaba' village detained an unidentified woman for allegedly ramming her vehicle into a Israeli Police vehicle.
2. At 21:50, Israeli forces detained Yusef Samah Abu Al-Radif {A resident of Jenin city} as he was travelling to Jerusalem to visit his ill mother who is receiving treatment at Al-Makassid Hospital.
3. At dawn on February 2nd 2017, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Oday Abu Taya and Mohammad Abu Al-Hamam after storming their homes in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Deportation

On February 2nd 2017, Israeli authorities issued orders banning 3 residents: Thaer Abu Sbeih, Mahmoud Abdel;-Latif and Rawhi Kalkhasi {all resident of Jerusalem city} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ras Kar Kar village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 14:10, Israeli forces raided Bir Ziet town, detained 2 University students then withdrew at 14:40.
2. At 16:45, Israeli forces raided Kafr Malik village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 17:10.
3. At dawn on February 3rd 2017, Israeli forces raided Shuqba village.

Detention

1. On February 1st 2017, Israeli forces detained Firas Nafe' {A resident of Ni'lin town}.

2. Israeli forces detained 2 University Students: Basel Falin {A resident of Burham village} and Tawfiq Abu Arqoub {A University student}{A resident of Bir Zit town}. in Bir Ziet town.

Attack

At 16:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Kafr Malik village.

JENIN

Detention

At 22:20, Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint {located along the main road connecting Jenin and Tulkarem districts} detained Abdallah Mustafa Abdallah Badawi {A resident of Shwikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 13:20, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

TULKAREM

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Bazariya village junction located in east Anabata town then searched residents and vehicles.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun town and Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles until 11:20.
2. At 13:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun and Kafr Thulth towns then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

1. At 19:20, Israeli forces closed Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic exiting Nablus city.
2. At 19:20, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furiq checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 20:50.

Flying Checkpoints

1.At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Burqa village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 13:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Al-Bithan road {located at the east entrance of Nablus city} and detained A National Security Force officer.

Raid

At dawn on February 3rd 2017, Israeli forces raided Awarta village as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological sites in the village.

Detention

1. At 12:40, Israeli forces detained Karam Adnan Ahmad Salah {A resident of Burqa village}{A University student}.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located along Al-Bathan road {located at the east entrance of Nablus city} detained Raed Ali Mohammad Al-Baghdadi {A National Security Force officer}.

Attack

At 14:50, Israeli forces positioned near Salem, Azzmout and Deir Al-Hatab villages in east Nablus city fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result injured 3 residents {including 2 children}: Ahmad Yusef Mohammad Abu Daoud {17 years old}, Alaa Nassar Ahmad Zaghal {16 years old} and Hadi Mohammad Musa Mesimi leaving them hospitalized.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 3 residents {including 2 children}: Ahmad Yusef Mohammad Abu Daoud {17 years old}, Alaa Nassar Ahmad Zaghal {16 years old} and Hadi Mohammad Musa Mesimi leaving them hospitalized during clashes near Salem, Azzmout and Deir Al-Hatab villages in east Nablus city.

SALFIT

Raid

At 10:30, Israeli forces raided Salfit city until 10:50.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:20 and again at 19:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area located near Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 00:30.
2. At 08:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Nahalin village then searched residents and villages until 13:45.
3. At 13:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North and West entrances of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 15:20.
4. At 19:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 00:35.

Raid

1. At 13:10, Israeli forces raided Husan village, stormed a cellular telephone shop, confiscated surveillance camera footage from the shop owned by Ramzi Amereh then withdrew at 13:20.
2. At 23:30, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town, stormed and searched several homes, summoned 6 residents: Mohammad Izzat Abdallah Al-Amour, Mohammad Habash Abdallah Al-Amour, Akram Mohammad Mahmoud Al-Amour, Loia Mahmoud Abdallah Al-Amour, Hamza Ismail Sabah and Mohammed Nayef Sabah to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

Detention

At 20:00, Israeli forces detained the child: Mohammad Ahmad Abdel-Sabour Al-Sabatin {17 years old}{A resident of Husan village} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.

Injuries

At 19:20 on February 1st 2017, Mohammad Ahmad Abdel-Sabour Al-Sabatin {17 years old}{A resident of Husan village} was injured during clashes in Husan village{as mentioned in the previous report}.

Confiscation of Property

At 13:10, Israeli forces confiscated surveillance camera footage from the shop owned by Ramzi Amereh during their raid into Husan village.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Zif village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Thahriya town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 18:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

1. At 13:30, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Nassar Masoudah {A Palestinian Police officer] and Shukri Sultan near Qizoun area located in the old city of Hebron.
2. At 19:55, Israeli forces detained the child Fawzi Eyad Al-Wawi {17 years old} {A resident of Al-Fuwar camp}.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.

• Israeli Military forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards Gaza and Rafah Districts.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza District.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

1. At 08:00 on February 2nd 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 17:30 on February 2nd 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

1.At 07:45 on February 2nd 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city.
2. At 10:00 on February 2nd 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city.
3. At 15:00 on February 2nd 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Jahr Al-Dik town located in south east Gaza city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.

Attack

At 15:00 on February 2nd 2017. Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Nahda neighborhood located in east Rafah city.
