WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the wall gate in Beit Ijza village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22;30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Jib village then searched residents and vehicles.

Deportation

On the evening of February 3rd 2019, Israeli Authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders to ban 7 women:
Dina Tarwa, Zeinab Tarwa, Ibtisam Al Tawil, Rania Ghazzawi, Jihad Al Razzem, Suad Obaidiah, and Safaa Al-Imam from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem as a condition for their release after being detained at an earlier time.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On February 3rd 2019, the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for the staff of international organizations and those holding from VIP and BMC cardholders only. According to schedule of specific hours (Fridays: 10:00 to 16:00, Saturday: 18:00 to 22:00, Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 to 22:00) .

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Mughier village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Abu Shikhidium and Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya villages, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes in Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya then withdrew at 04:15.
2. At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities, Qadura camp and Beituniya town, detained 2 residents in Qadura camp then withdrew at 05:45.
3. At 07:30, Israeli forces raided Silwad town and detained 3 residents.
4. At dawn on February 4th 2019, Israeli forces raided Abboud town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Awad Samir Awad and Ahmad Juma Awad in Qadura camp in Ramallah city.
2.Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Uday Omar Abdel-Ghani Hamad, Imad Musa Bajis Hamad and Mohammad Omar Izat Hamad in Silwad town.
3. Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Mahmoud Al-Barghouthi in Abboud town.

Attack

At 03:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents as they stormed several homes during their raid into Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya village.

Settlers Attacks

At 07:00, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Deir Dibwan town and set fire to a local mosque and as a caused damage to the mosque interior and then spray painted anti arab and racist slogans on the mosque walls.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 11:50, Israeli forces raided Al-Zababda and Maythaloun towns,Sir, Al-Jadiayda, Saris , Sanour and Al-Jabra villages/
2. At 15:40, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town and Zabada village.
3. At 04:15, Israeli forces raided Jenin and its camp then detained 5 residents {including a child}.
4. At 04:30, Israeli forces raided Bruqin town and Bi'r Al-Basha village.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Nour Mahmoud Mir'i {A resident of Jenin city}, Mohammad Nassif Ghawadra {A resident of Jenin city}, Thaer Hussien Assasat{A resident of Jenin city}, Mahmoud Samer Jabarin {A resident of Jenin camp} and Mou'men Mustafa Abu Jilda {A resident of Jenin camp} during their raid into Jenin city and its camp.

TUBAS

Raid

1. At 11:50, Israeli forces raided Aqaba town.
2. At 17:30, Israeli forces raided Um Al-Jamal area located in the North Jordan valley.

Detention

At 16:45, Israeli forces positioned near "Maskiyot" settlement in the North Jordan valley detained Iz Mahmoud Arhil Ka'abna for allegedly stoning a Israeli settlers vehicle.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 09:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 10:50.

Raid

At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city, Shweika neighborhood and Far'oun village, detained 2 residents in Tulkarem city then withdrew at 04:00.

Detention

1. At 17:40, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate in Quffin town detained Mohammad Mansour Lutfi Hussien {A resident of Nazlat Issa village}.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Munthir Mohammad Mansour Ashour and Bilal Mohammad Abdel-Jawad Shiekh Al-Abed in Tulkarem city.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafr Laqif village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Raid

1. At 12:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Naqura and Bazariya villages.
2. At 17:15, Israeli forces raided Azmout, Salem and Deir Al-Hatab villages.
3. At 22:55, Israeli forces raided Awarta village.
4. At 04:45, Israeli forces raided Rujieb village.

Attack

At 14:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents and school children for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Sawiya village and as a result injured a child.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Abdallah Ali Nubani {17 years old} during clashes near the entrance of Al-Sawiya village.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Harris village then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Teqou' town and detained a customs officer.
2. At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Ush Al-Ghurab area located in east Beit Sahour city then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages in Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 06:50, Israeli forces raided Beit Jalla city and Ayda camp in Bethlehem city.

Detention

1. At 14:40, Israeli forces positioned near Nihalin town detained Ibrahim Ali Mohammad Taha Fanoun {A special needs patient}{A resident of Nihalin town} after assaulting him then confiscated his vehicle.
2. At 23:50, Israeli forces detained Munthir Abu Mahamid {A resident of Beit Ta'mar village} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.
3. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the west entrance of Teqou' detained Tamer Salim Al-Badan {a customs officer}.

Confiscation of Property

At 14:40, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Ibrahim Ali Mohammad Taha Fanoun {A special needs patient}{A resident of Nihalin town} after assaulting and detaining him near Nihalin town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Einoun village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 21:55, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa town.
2. At 00:30, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. At 12:00, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound in the old city of Hebron detained Osama Munthir Fanoun for allegedly carrying a knife.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Husam Musa Abu Shikhiudum and Miqdad Al-Qawasmi in Hebron city.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Khan Yunis district.
A resident died of serious injuries sustained during clashes in North West Beit Lahiya town on January 29th 2019.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 08:30 on February 3rd 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

Killings

At 17:00 on February 3rd 3019, Ahmad Ghazi Abbas Abu Jabal {30 years old}{A resident of Al-Shija’iya neighborhood in east Gaza city} died of serious injuries sustained during clashes in North West Beit Lahiya town on January 29th 2019.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 08:00 on February 3rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 17:00 on February 3rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 08:00 on February 3rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Farahin area located in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 21:00 on February 3rd 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.

Attack

At 07:30 on February 3rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents in east Rafah city.

Detention

At 07:30 on February 3rd 2019, Israeli forces detained 5 children: Fawzi Mousa Abu Sneima {17 years old}, Qusay Fayez Mousa al-Sufi, {15 years old} , Ibrahim Mohammed Mersal Shalhoub {14years old}, and Ziad Yusri Eid al-Bahabsa, {15 years old}{All are residents of Al-Shukat town in Rafah city} in the vicinity of the Sufa crossing located northeast of Rafah city as they attempted to climb the border fence into Israel.
