WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town.

Attack

At 10:30, Israeli forces positioned in Abu Dis town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

House Demolition

At 14:00 on February 5th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem city forced Mustafa Sabah to demolish his home {190 m} for allegedly being built with out a licence after threatening him with a hefty financial penalty in the event the Israeli Military implemented a demolition order .

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers led by Uri Yehuda Ariel {Israeli Minister of Agricultur} under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On February 5th 2019, the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for the staff of international organizations and those holding from VIP and BMC cardholders only. According to schedule of specific hours (Fridays: 10:00 to 16:00, Saturday: 18:00 to 22:00, Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 to 22:00) .

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Tayba town junction {located along Al-Muarajat road which connects Ramallah and Jericho districts} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 10:30, Israeli forces raided Deir Ijreer village.
2. At 11:55, Israeli forces raided Kobar, Bir Ziet towns, Abu Shikhidum and Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya villages.

Detention

1. At 09:15, Israeli forces detained Saber, Mus'ab Khader Soliman {A resident of Beit Ur Al-Tahta village}.
2. At 15:55, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Ibrahim Ahmad Atiya {A resident of Kafr Ni'ma village}.
3. At 21:40, Israeli forces positioned at Surda village junction detained thaer Sa'id Qatami {A resident of Al-Jalazoun camp}.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 09:35, Israeli forces raided Kafr Dan village.
2. At 21:40, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town.
3. At 00:10, Israeli forces raided Arraba town and detained a resident.

TUBAS

Destruction of Property

On February 5th 2019, Israeli forces uprooted approximately 520 Olive trees and destroyed chickpeas planted on 4 dunums of land which are owned by Mohamed Saleh Sawafta, Omar Saleh Sawafta, Amer Mahmoud Ahmil, Azat Ahmed Rashaida, Ziad Salem Sawafta in Bardala village in the North Jordan valley claiming that the trees are planted on state owned land.

TULKAREM

Raid

1. At 19:35, Israeli forces raided Safarin village until 22:10.
2. At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Quffin town, stormed and searched several homes then withdrew at 05:00.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:25 and again at 18:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 01:25, Israeli forces raided Kafr Thulth town and detained a resident.
2. At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Suhiel Subhi Fathi Issa in Kafr Thulth town.

Attack

At 13:50, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate in Khilat Nofal area in Qalqiliya city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Deir Sharaf village junction {located along the main road connecting Nablus and Tulkarem city} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 11:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shavie Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 17:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Bazariya village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 09:15 and again at 01:05, Israeli forces raided Assira Al-Shamaliya town and detained a Palestinian Police Force officer then withdrew at 05:00.
2. At 17:00 and again at 01:50, Israeli forces raided Nablus city, detained a resident after storming his home then withdrew at 02:30.
3. At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Qabalan town until 02:00.
4. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Balata camp in Nablus city, Rujieb and Kafr Qalil villages until 02:30.
5. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Beita town until 05:00.
6. At 02:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Labban Al-Sharqiya village.

Detention

1. At 18:40 on February 4th 2019, Israeli forces detained Ameen Faraj {A resident of Balata camp} during their raid into Rujieb village {in addition to those mentioned in the previous report}.
2. At 03:05 on February 5th 2019, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ibrahim Khalil Al-Az'ar Abdallah Ibrahim Khalil Al-Az'ar and Yazan Ibrahim Khalil Al-Az'ar during their raid in to Qabalan town{as mentioned in the previous report}.
3.Israeli forces detained Ahmad Mansour Ali Yassin {A Palestinina Police Officer} in Assira Al-Shamaliya town.
4. Israeli forces detained Habib Khaled Soliman in Nablus city.

Assaults on Property

On February 5th 2019,Israeli forces prevented residents from planting approximately 200 Olive trees on a plot of land {10 dunums} near Burin village school and as a result forced the participants to plant them near the barbed wire fence erected by the occupation forces around the targeted land.

SALFIT

Raid

At 13:30, Israeli forces raided Marda village.

JERICHO

Raid

At 16:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Oja village then stormed and searched a home.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 12:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Rashayda village, detained a residents and summoned Faysal Soliman Al-Rasahayda to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
2. At 01:50, Israeli forces raided Marah Rabah village, summoned Mujahid Ali Al-Shiekh to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning then withdrew at 05:50.
3. At 04:10, Israeli forces raided Beit Jalla city, Al-Doha, Al-Khader towns and Al-Duhisha camp in Bethlehem city , detained a resident on Al-Doha town and summoned Baha Ali Salah {A resident of Al-Khader town} to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Omar Khalaf Soliman Al-Rashayda in Al-Rasahayda village.
2. Israeli detained Ahmad Abdel-Hady Kitana in Al-Doha town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Ummar town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Khursa village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Zif village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 09:10, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.
2. At 09:15, Israeli forces raided Beit Kahil and Tafdouh towns.
3. At 17:25, Israeli forces raided Ithna town.
4. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Thahriya town until 06:00.
5. At dawn on February 6th 2019, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and detained 2 residents.
6. At dawn on February 6th 2019, Israeli forces raided Yatta town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Zied Rafiq Al-Alami and Omar Sadam Al-Salibi in Beit Ummar town.
2. Israeli forces detained Firas Khalid Al-Shamti in Yatta town.

Temporary Detention

On February 5th 2019, Israeli forces temporarily detained 5 residents {including 5 teachers and a child}: Sami al-Zuhoor, Mohammed Al-Atawneh, Hani Al-Saada, Karam Al-Asafra, Mohammed Awad Al-Zuhour and his child Awad as they were travelling to Al-Hijriya school in the old city of Hebron then took them to "Kiryat Arba'" settlement then released them at a later time.

Attack

At 17:15, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Fuwar camp junction fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Settlers Attacks

On February 5th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers from "Migon" settlement which is built on Palestinian owned land in east Yatta town stormed agricultural land in Al-Hamra area located in east Tuwani village and uprooted 23 Olive trees owned by Jum'a Musa Jibril Al-Ruba'i.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding Khan Yunis district.
• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis district .
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 08:00 on February 5th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

Detention

At 19:00 on February 5th 2019, Israeli forces detained 2 unidentified residents attempting to climb the border fence into Israel from North Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Raid

At 07:30 on February 5th 2019, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of east Al-Qarara town located in North east Khan Yunis city and opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 14:00.

Attack

1. At 08:00 on February 5th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Farahin area located in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 14:00 on February 5th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Qarara town located in North east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
