Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On February 7th 2019, the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for the staff of international organizations and those holding from VIP and BMC cardholders only. According to schedule of specific hours (Fridays: 10:00 to 16:00, Saturday: 18:00 to 22:00, Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 to 22:00) .

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Ras Kar Kar village then searched residents and vehicles.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Araba town junction and detained 2 University students.
2. At 16:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Tayba village then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint at Araba town junction detained 2 University students: Ammar Yasser Abdel-Rahman Obiedi {A resident of Jenin city} and Yazan Mohammad Sadeq Badab {A resident of Ya'bad town}.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 20:55, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Tayassir" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 23:00.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 14:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Jayyous and Azzun towns then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 16:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 19:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jama'in town then searched residents and vehicles until 15:00.

Detention

At 15:35, Israeli forces positioned at a military checkpoint along the main road connecting Nablus and Ramallah cities detained Ziyad Fathi Ahmad Ammar {A resident of Kafr Qalil village}.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 13:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Salfit city then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 21:00, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara junction military checkpoint detained Amer Nabil Ayash Mara'ba {A resident of Fahma village in Jenin district}.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along road (90) located near "Masu'a" settlement then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 07:00, Israeli forces raided Jericho city.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge{located at the east entrance of Beit Sahour city} then searched residents and vehicles until 13:15.
2. At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the villages located in west Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 20:00.

Attack

At 20:00, Israeli forces positioned in Jabal Abu Sodat area in Al-Khader town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles until 11:30.

Raid

At 20:45, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa town , clashed with several residents then withdrew at 21:50.

Attack

At 20:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Beit Awwa town.

Settlers Attacks

At 13:45, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near road (60) near Al-Arrub camp assaulted Zaynab Abu Sarour {62 years old} and her 2 sons: Ahmad and Abdel-Qadder and as a result left them injured with contusions during which Israeli forces detained Abdel-Qadder as he attempted to resist the attack.

Detention

1. At 00:25, Israeli forces detained Eyad Khalil Abdallah Mughanam during their raid into Yatta town {as mentioned in the previous report}.
2. Israeli forces detained Abdel-Qadder Ahmad Abu Sarour after his mother and brother were assaulted by Israeli settlers near Al-Arrub camp.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 14:30 on February 7th 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

Detention

At 19:00 on February 7th 2019, Israeli forces detained 2 unidentified residents as they attempted to climb the border fence from North Beit Lahiya town into Israel.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 07:30 on February 7th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
