Raid

On the morning of February 8th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and removed posters of a martyr from the walls of a local mosque.

Attack

At 17:20, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Abu Dis town.

House Demolition

On February 8th 2019, Israeli authorities forced Ahmad Mahmouu Obiyat to demolish his home {40 m2} as well as a merchant shop {30 m2} in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event of the demolition is implemented by the Israeli forces for allegedly being built with out a licence.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On February 8th 2019, the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for the staff of international organizations and those holding from VIP and BMC cardholders only. According to schedule of specific hours (Fridays: 10:00 to 16:00, Saturday: 18:00 to 22:00, Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 to 22:00) .

Raid

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces raided Um Safa village and clashed with several residents.
2. At 19:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh city, clashed with several residents as they stormed Jamal Abdel-Nasser Mosque {A Bireh Grand Mosque} and several buildings in the area and as a result injured 2 residents, temporarily detained a resident and confiscated surveillance camera footage outside the mosque then withdrew at 22:50.

Temporary Detention

At 19:55, Israeli forces temporarily detained Hamza Ghannam during their raid into Al-Bireh city then released him at a later time.

Attack

1. At 12:45,Israeli forces positioned in Jabal Al-Risan area located near Ras Kar Kar village fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {participating in demonstrations against land confiscation and settler violence} for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 12:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning in Nil'in village.
3. At 12:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning in Bil'in village.
4. At 13:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Um Safa village.
5. At 19:55, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched Jamal Abdel-Nasser Mosque {A Bireh Grand Mosque} and several buildings during their raid into Al Bireh city and as a result injured 2 residents.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Ibrahim Jamal Ahmad Abu Awad {A resident of Hebron city} and Hadi Ibrahim Ali Tarash'ha {A resident of Al-Jalazoun camp} during clashes in Al-Bireh city.

At 18:05, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Tayyassir" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Detention

At 17:35, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Mustafa Khalil Warad Zawahra and Mohammad Khalil Warad Zawahra in Al-Malah area of the North Jordan valley.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 10:25, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 11:40.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Eliyas village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 14:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun town and Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.

At 12:00, , Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {protesting against the continued closure} for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

On the afternoon of February 8th 2019, Israeli forces closed Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic in order to allow Israeli settlers to pass through the area then reopened it at a later time.

Raid

At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Qussin village until 02:35.

Killings

On February 8th 2019, Yasser Hamad Ishtaya {36 years old}{A resident of Tel village died of medical negligence of the administrators while in "Ashil" prison.

SALFIT

Military Checkpoints

On the after noon of February 8th 2019, Israeli forces closed Za'tara junction military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic in order to allow Israeli settlers to pass through then reopened it at a later time.

At 22:50, Israeli forces raided Marda village.

JERICHO

At 11:20 and again at 22:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 09:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Teqou' town then searched residents and vehicles until 12:40.
2. At 11:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 15:00.
3. At 13:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Beit Sahour city then searched residents and vehicles until 16:15.

At 20:25, Israeli forces raided Nihalin town until 21:30.

On February 8th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at Jabal Abu Sodat area located in Al-Khader town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sa'ir town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 14:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bani Na'im town then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.

Attack

At 16:10, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Arrub camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Assaults on Property

On February 8th 2019, Israeli forces closed sealed off the family home of Ahmad Abu Sarour which is located along the main road connecting Hebron and Jerusalem alleging that the home is owned by the Christian Society and the nearby Beit El Baraka, which settlers took over years ago.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza ,Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result killed 2 residents {including a child} and injured 17 residents and left 74 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores if Rafah district.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 14:30 on February 8th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town during the march of return and as a result injured 1 resident and left 28 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 1 unidentified resident after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Jabaliya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

At 14:30 on February 8th 2019, 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city during the march of return and as a result killed a resident,injured 9 residents and left 35 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Israeli forces killed Hamza Mohammad Rushdi Ishtawi {18 years old} {A resident of Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza city} after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Gaza city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 9 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Gaza city.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

1. At 14:30 on February 8th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near east Al- Buriej camp during the march of return and as a result injured 2 residents and left 25 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 15:15 on February 8th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Maghazi camp.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Al-Buriej camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 13:30 on February 8th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result killed a child, injured 4 residents and left 30 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Killings

Israeli forces killed the child: Hassan Eyad Abdel-Fattah Shalbi {A resident of Khan Yunis city} after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 4 unidentified residents after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.

Attack

1. At 09:00 on February 8th 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Rafah city.
2. At 14:30 on February 8th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city participating in the right of return march and as as a result injured 1 resident and left 29 others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
