JERUSALEM

Raid

At dawn on 01/05/ 2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Abu Dis, and detained a citizen.

Detention

The detainee in the town of Abu Dis is: Ahmed Adel Salah.

House Demolition

On 01/05/2022, the Israeli occupation authorities demolished a 60-square-meter house in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem, owned by: Sultan Helisi, under the pretext of not having a license.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:00, groups of extremist Israeli settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.

Settlement Activities

On 01/05/ 2021, the Local Committee for Planning and Building of the Israeli Occupation Municipality in the city of Jerusalem approved plans to build 3,557 new settlement housing units (including 1,465 housing units between the settlements of “Givat Hamatos” and “Har Homa” to connect them and cut off the connection between the neighborhoods of the city of Jerusalem and the city of Bethlehem, and 2,092 housing units on the outskirts of the French Hill in the city of Jerusalem, within the occupied territories in 1967.

Settlers Attacks

At 06:20, a Israeli settler while he was driving his vehicle near the village of Beit Sira ran over and killed a civilian while he was on his way to work.

Killings

The civilian Mustafa Yassin Filna, 25 years old - a resident of the village of Safa was killed after a Israeli settler ran him over while he was on his way to work near the village of Beit Sira.

Detention

At 00:15, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the "Mofu Dotan" checkpoint detained the citizen: Hadi Osama Taysir Abu Al-Ezz - a resident of Zita town in Tulkarm governorate.

At 04:30,the Israeli occupation forces raided Al-Fara'a camp, and confrontations took place with the citizens as they stormed a number of houses, as a result of which 3 civilians were wounded, detained a citizen, and withdrew at 07:00.

At 18:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Kafr Laqif, stormed a number of shops and the village council headquarters, and confiscated their surveillance camera recordings.

NABLUS

At 09:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the town of Jama'in, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.

1. On 01/05/2022, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Sebastia, to accompany a group of settlers during their visit to the archaeological area in the village.
2. At 01:50, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Qusra, detained 4 citizens, and withdrew at 05:15.
3. At 02:10, the Israeli occupation forces raided the eastern neighborhoods of Nablus, where confrontations took place with civilians, which led to the death of a citizen, detained 2 civilians, and withdrew at 03:30.

Detention

1. At 12:30, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Ibrahim Omar Zaatar - resident of the city of Nablus, while he was visiting the Israeli intelligence, based on a prior notification.
2. The 4 detainees in the town of Qusra are: Asim Fawzy Fayez Hassan, Noman Abdel Hamid Salem Hassan, Baraa Noaman Abdel Hamid Hassan, Mahmoud Abdel Rahim Abu Raida.

Killings

The civilian: Bakir Muhammad Musa Hashash, 21 years old, from Balata refugee camp in Nablus was killed during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the eastern neighborhoods of Nablus.

Settlers Attacks

On 01/05/2022, a group of Israeli settlers from the colony of “Eli” entered the agricultural lands of the citizens in the spring area of Qaryut village, and destroyed agricultural projects, where the people were able to confront the settlers.

At 12:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 12:00.

Settlers Attacks

On the evening of 01/05/2022, a group of Israeli settlers of the “Eli Zahav” settlement uprooted about 50 olive trees owned by the citizen: Saleh Al-Shannar, while they were razing large areas of citizens’ lands in the areas of Khallet al-Qamh and Iraq Sukieh, north of the town of Kafr al-Dik, as part of a plan colony expansion.

Detention

1. The detainee in the city of Hebron is: Nour Hazem Qafisha.

Attack

At 20:25, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Asida area in the town of Beit Ummar, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens for alleged stoning, as a result of which a number of civilians suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

At 14:40, the citizen: Suleiman Al-Hathlin, 75 years old, a resident of Umm Al-Khair village, east of Yatta, was hospitalized with injuries and fractures of the skull, as a result of being run over by a military vehicle of the Israeli occupation forces.
