WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Anata town.
2. At dawn on January 1st 2020, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 23:40, Israeli forces detained Malik Judat Abu Sneineh in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. Israeli forces detained Yasser Darwish in Al-Eisawiya village.

Temporary Detention

On the evening of December 31st 2019, Israeli authorities issued a court order placing 3 residents: Nadeem Mohammad Al-Safadi, Mahmoud Ramadan Obied and Adam Kayed Mahmoud under-house arrest in Jerusalem city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Ni'lin town and Qubiya village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:15, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints at the entrances of Abboud town and Deir Abu Mash'al village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 04:10, Israeli forces raided Ramallah city and clashed with several residents.
2. At 04:45, Israeli forces raided Deir Ghassana and Beit Rima towns then detained 2 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Yasser Mader Abdallah {a resident of Deir Ghassana town} and Saji Nathim Al-Rimawi {a resident of Beit Rima town} in Deir Ghassana and Beit Rima towns.

Attack

1. At 15:50, Israeli forces positioned near the North entrance of Al-Bireh city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 04:10, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Ramallah city.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 02:35, Israeli forces raided Jenin city and its camp, clashed with several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result injured a resident, detained 4 others then withdrew at 04:45.
2. At dawn on January 1st 2020, Israeli forces raided Qabatiya town and detained a resident.

Detention

1.Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Hufaytha Subhi Jabarin, Ibrahim Nathim Turkman, Amer Ammir Abu Salama and Bakr Hillal Al-Saba' in Jenin city and Jenin camp.
2.Israeli forces detained Mus'ab Abdel-Wahab Hanshiya {a University Student} in Qabatiya town.

Attack

At 02:35, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Jenin city and its camp and and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Jameel Nabeel Awad {a resident of Jenin city } during clashes in in Jenin city and its camp.

Settlers Attacks

On December 31st 2019,a group of Israeli settlers positioned near Homish settlement stoned several vehicles travelling along the main road connecting Jenin and Nablus and as a result damaged 25 vehicles.

TUBAS

Raid

At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Tubas city, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched a home and as a result injured a resident then withdrew at 04:50.

Attack

At 01:55, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched a home during their raid into Tubas city and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Qassim Soliman Siyajat during clashes in Tubas city.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 08:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 18:35, Israeli forces raided Azzun town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 06:15.
2. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qaddum village, clashed with several resiednts then withdrew at 03:20.

Attack

1. At 12:40,Israeli forces positioned near Jaljuliya military checkpoint located at the south east entrance of Qalqiliya city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 02:20,Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed several homes during their raid into Kafr Qaddum village.

Settlement Activities

At 11:45, Israeli forces leveled a plot of land in Wadi Al-Rasha village in order to expand "Alvi Manshat" settlement.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 09:35,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furik military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 13:30.

1. At 09:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beita town junction then searched residents and vehicles until 13:30.
2. At 09:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shavi Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 13:30.

1. At dawn on January 1st 2020, Israeli forces raided Madma village and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on January 1st 2020, Israeli forces raided Beit Furik town then stormed and searched several homes.

1. At 13:50, Israeli forces detained Anwar Sa'di Al-Sakhil {a resident of Nablus city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning based on a prior summon.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Zaher Qat in Madma village.

At 14:55,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Za'tara junction military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 16:00.

At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Al-Zawiya town.

At 09:50,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Al-Hamra Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

At 18:20,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Container military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 20:40.

1. At 09:20,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 10:55.
2. At 11:30 and again at 13:50,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 14:15.
3. At 21:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. On December 31st 2019, Israeli forces raided Marah Rabah and Um Salmuna villages.
2. At 21:25, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town, stormed and searched a gas station, confiscated its computers, detained a employee then withdrew at 06:25.
3. At 00:50, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town,stormed and searched 5 homes then withdrew at 04:30.

Detention

1. At 19:40, Israeli forces positioned at Container Military checkpoint detained Mohammad Samih Ayed {a resident of Surif town in Hebron district}.
2. Israeli forces detained Abdel-Kareem Mohammad Al-Qiqi {a resident of Al-Arrub camp in Hebron district} in Beit Fajjar town.

Confiscation of Property

At 21:25, Israeli forces confiscated computers from a gas station during their raid into Beit Fajjar town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 15:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 16:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bani Na'im town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 10:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Fuwar camp then stormed and searched a home.
2. At 06:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town, detained 3 residents {including a child} and summoned Moayad Abu Mariya to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
3. At dawn on January 1st 2020, Israeli forces raided Ithna town then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

1. At 10:20, Israeli forces detained the child: Munjid Ahmad Nawaf {15 years old}{a resident of Al-Arrub camp}.
2. At 14:15, Israeli forces detained Sami Al-Hasnat {a resident of Al-Duhishat camp in Bethlehem city} near Al-Arrub camp.
3. At 17:40, Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Omar Ali Mustafa Ghanimat, Amr Mohammad Issa Bada'iya and Rami Mustafa Ghanimat {all residents of Beit Surif town} near the wall gate.
4. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Qusay Ahmad Abu Hashim, Malik Ayesh Abu Hisham {17 years old} and Muhsien Mohammad Muhsien Za'aqiq in Beit Ummar town.

Attack

On the evening of December 31st 2019, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Arrub camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.

•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza,Gaza and Khan Yunis districts.

At 09:00 on December 31st 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Beit Hanun town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

At 07:10 on December 31st 2019, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents near the border fence in east Gaza city.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 07:15 on December 31st 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 11:30 on December 31st 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
