WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 05:00 on January 10th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. On January 10th 2019, Israeli forces detained Ramiz Fathi Riziq {A resident of Bir Nabala town} as he was reporting to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning based on a prior summon
2. Israeli forces detained Shukri Al-Sarisi in Al-Eizariya town.

Attack

At 20:25, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Hizma town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents fof alleged stoning towards Israeli settler vehicles.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

Settlement Activities

On 10 January 2019, the Israeli occupation authorities announced the opening "4370 settlement road" in the city of Jerusalem, which separates Palestinian drivers from settler drivers. The street is divided by a wall up to 8 meters high. Connects the Adam colony on Route 1, Tel Aviv-Jerusalem, between the junction of the French Hill and the tunnel leading to the 3.5-kilometer-long mountain, which opened two weeks ago, west of the road, which allows unauthorized Palestinian drivers To enter the city of Jerusalem, while finally opened the other side of the street that allows Settlers to facilitate their access to the French Hill and Mount Jerusalem in Jerusalem city.

Military Checkpoints

Since 11:35 on December 13th 2018, Israeli forces continued its closure of "Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city {for the 28th consecutive day} and prevented residents and vehicles from crossing the checkpoint in both directions.

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town.
2. At 14:40, Israeli forces raided Deir Ijrier village then stormed the Palestinian National Security force headquarters in the village.
3. At 17:15, Israeli forces raided Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several merchant shops and homes and confiscated surveillance camera footage and as a result injured 4 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
4. At 04:10, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ni'ma and Bili'in villages, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and as a result injured a journalist in Kafr Ni'ma village and launched a energa grenade towards the home of Abu Mahdi Abu Rahma as they surrounded it and detained 3 residents.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Jaber Medhat Jaber Abdo { a resident of Kafr Ni'ma village}, Tarek Abu Rahma { a resident of Bil'in town}, and Mahdi Abu Rahma{ a resident of Bil'in village} in Kafr Ni'ma and Bili'in villages.

Attack

1. At 17:15, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several merchant shops and homes during their raid into Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities and as a result injured 4 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

At 04:10, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Kafr Ni'ma and Bi'lin town then launched a energa grenade towards the home of Abu Mahdi Abu Rahma as they surrounded it and detained 3 residents.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 4 unidentified residents during clashes in Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities.
2. Israeli forces injured Hytham Al-Khatib {A journalist} during clashes in Bil'in town.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Zababda and Maythaloun towns, Jalqamous, Masilat, Sanour and Al-Jidayda villages.
2. At 17:20, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town.

Confiscation of Property

On January 10th 2019, Israeli forces confiscated a Caravan owned by Hishama Hamouda in Imrayih area located in south Ya'bad town.

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ein Al-Bayda village located in the North Jordan valley then searched residents and vehicles.

At 13:00, Israeli forces raided Aqaba town.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 09:35, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

1. At 13:15, Israeli forces raided Baqa Al-Sharqiya town, Nazlat Al-Sharqiya, Nazlat Al-Wusta, Nazlat Al-Gharbiya and Nazlat Issa villages.
2. At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city, Tulkarem and Nur Al-Shams camp then detained a resident.

Israeli forces detained Ahmad Ibrahim Mohammad Hussien Abu Dajat in Tulkarem city.

QALQILIYA

At 19:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.

At 21:35, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.

At 19:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Al-Bithan road {located at the east entrance of Nablus city} then searched residents and vehicles.

At 22:40, Israeli forces raided Awrata village as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who stormed archaeological sites in the area.

Detention

1. At 15:35, Israeli forces positioned near "Arail" settlement located in Salfit city detained Billal Ghalib Al-Harim {A resident of Salfit city} for alleged stoning towards the settlement.
2. At 19:45, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara junction military checkpoint detained Mahmoud Mohammad Al-Aqra' {A resident of Qabalan town in Nablus district},

At 10:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Nihalin village then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 19:20, Israeli forces raided Harmala village until 00:10.
2. At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Beit Jalla city.

HEBRON

1. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Nabi Yunis area junction {located along the main road connecting Hebron and Bethlehem} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Halul town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

At 19:35, Israeli forces raided Tarqumiya town.

Settlers Attacks

1. At 19:00, a group of Israeli settlers in Khirbeit Bir Al-Ad area located in south east Yatta town assaulted and slandered an elderly resident during which Israeli forces detained him.
2. On January 10th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers from "Talim" settlement located in east Tarqumiya town stormed agricultural land in Al-Tayba area located in Tarqumiya town and uprooted 30 Olive and almond trees and Grape vines owned by Al-Ja'afra family.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ziyad Majd Yunis Makhamrat {60 years old} after he was assaulted and slandered by a group of Israeli settlers in Khirbeit Bir Al-Ad area located in south east Yatta town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result injured a resident.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Rafah districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

1. At 10:00 on January 10th 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats demonstrating off the shores Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
2. At 14:00 on January 10th 2019, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town, temporarily detained 2 residents then released them after confiscating their fishing boat.
3. At 17:00 on January 9th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire, and launched stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents in east Beit Hanoun town and as a result injured a resident..
4. At 20:00 on January 10th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Jabaliya town.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident after opening fire towards demonstrators in east Beit Hanun town.

Temporary Detention

At 14:00 on January 10th 2019, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 residents:Mohammad Ishtikanat and Mohammad Ishtikanat then released them after confiscating their fishing boat off the shores of Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

Confiscation of Property

At 14:00 on January 10th 2019, confiscated a fishing boat after opening fire towards it off the shores of Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
